  1. As my Sig shows......I have a toon named Manwolfe, as well as my main who is “Manwolf”.
  2. Hi there! Like many others, I’m a player from the beginning returning after a long absence. Have been running solo for the last few weeks just making sure I was committed enough to jump in and stick around! I’ve found I have missed it, and now want to join up with some buddies and just have fun. My main toon is a sharpshooter named Manwolf. Lvl 75. Not geared well yet but I’ve figured out the armor process. I’m a long time crafter, and have 5 other toons levels 35-50. I’m still the guild holder of our old guild, have no idea how the heck to resign! I’d love to join. I’m easy...team player and willing to contribute however I need to! Thanks for listening!
  3. Hi there! Returning player after long absence. Most experience as a Gunslinger and crafter. PVE but ran Ops and did some PVP before a took break. Been a long time so that last month Ive just been re-engaging with the game....a lot has changed! Simply put....just looking to have a good home! I'm active.....and good team guy. I still show as head of our old guild, Iron Rangers. Havent been able to figure out how to get myself OUT of guild! Im a guild of 1 active players! LOL. Any way.....good post. love to join if you guys don't mind being patience with the "rust"!
  4. Glad I took the afternoon to play...... I wonder if they will ask me for a bill for my wasted time and apply it to my account?
  5. Balance - Probably SWG but at times the lag was so bad it was rediculous. SWTOR is kind of vanilla. Epicness - SWG. Open world PvP. It felt dangerous.
  6. In SWG the best armor (RIS and than Mando) was player crafted but was, in fact a team effort because the hardest components had to be group collected. And what was cool about it was each "unique" set could be color selected so the few Mando sets in existence actually looked different from each other. I was the top AS on my server and although I made great armor...the best armor was acquired by the best PVE guys on the server...because they could get into the areas or kill the beasts that possessed the key components to make the armor. I just made the best base components so the armor was maximized. The truth is, for anyone who played both SWG and SWTOR alot, SWG was FAR MORE player emersive. The community allowed for so many different play styles. Let me ask...for those who playted both, what world FELT big? Felt dangerous? Felt Star warsy? Easy answer. SWG was not a perfect game. But SWTOR didn't take any lessons from the positives of SWG. And in the end the vanilla aspect of SWTOR that we all feel could have been avoided. Smart players want diversity of choice. And Challenge.
  7. I like it as a starter. Otherwise I find Im better of just stacking DPS.
  8. I suspect that the intent is just different in PVE vs PVP. In PVP you are, in fact competing against other players. The entry Recruit gear is there so new PVPers are not completely blown away, but still at a substantial disadvantage. Gear progression is, in fact a major goal of the PVPer. It makes the player better. In PVE the goal is to accomplish the objective. Having a team member gimped totally out for a period hurts everyone and is good for NO ONE trying to accomplish the mission. It makes no sense to have a stat like "expertise" in a PVE situation. I mean, who wants to see someone going out with them on an Op completely unable to stay alive? In contrast, in PVP your goal is man versus man. (there are objectives in WZ's so there is a team aspect) Just a thought.
  9. SWG's crafting system was the best Ive ever seen. I was an armorsmith. I could actually provide a guild a custom look and colors based on their wishes. I could make wild looks or give people an awesome dark look. I could make epic, VERY rare gear and yet put someone for a reasonable price into gear that kept them competitive. The better crafters on SWG were just that....better crafters. They were students or their craft. We will always compare the two and find each lacking. Combined they would be perfect for me. But they aren't. Nor will they be. But the feeling I get in this game from start to present is not nearly as "epic" as what I felt on SWG. I miss that. And had hoped for that here because I love the genre.
  10. OP Id ask for your gear as you leave but I can get it really fast now......
  11. Change rewards. Just allow gear eveness to hit fast, than reward wins only towards epeen awards like armor color, cool helms, capes etc. Plus some killer titles based on wins and than maybe kill blow levels reached. And QUICKLY release new WZ's and tighten up Ilum so its not so big. On our server we all stay in the middle zerging each other and riding around for spawns.
  12. Actually good idea. Maybe keep the wins but allow X medals to convert to 1 victory. Our server is flipped. Imps win alot and if your pubbing its likely you lose 4 to 1.
  13. Ive noticed that the "Moderate" missions seem to always return Red Goo. Kind of bizaar. Try that.
