  1. Mercs are still strong healing in 4 player groups Sorc is still the best balanced for overall and i agree operatives will be the meta for nim ops Mercs will probably not be efficient for 8 player/16 player groupings

At the risk of getting flamed, there are plenty of things Merc lost in bodyguard. they have no aoe damage reduction, no additional reduction while stunned (essential skill for pvp) no enhanced supercharge pushback immunity and defense chance from there, no heal when doing jet boost all of these are skills im actively using on my merc bodyguard today and will have to drop now what i do agree on is the chaff flare addition, that is not required and probably isnt well balanced to add another semi dcd there. However i dont agree that merc has lost nothing

Hi Folks, one of the major issues that i've been seeing and hearing from players across the spectrum is the issue that they want to be able to customize their gear and stats but they dont want to be forced into specific content that they dont usually do or want to play. What we have is an issue where i have to have specific defined pieces and setups for my preferred content, i cannot for example have more alacrity or less if i choose to with the current gear. Choice is one of the best things about the 6.0 moddable system and i think we're missing that. With that in mind here is my suggestion: Have a moddable gear vendor for each tier of the current gear setup. So max level for PVP is 326, i can get armoring mods and enhancements for that gear using the currency of that content type if i were to choose to spend my currency in that way This allows people the choice to tweak their gear how they like to play. We could set a requirement to have item rating 326 before it could be accessed for example or some other controls. But we should allow folks to tweak their gear once they attain the max level for that content. Obviously, the stats you get from higher content is still better, but it allows players the choice to tweak to match their playstyle
  5. What BioWare should do is have a specific mods/moddable gear vendor for each gear type. If the rating only goes to 326 for that armor, then so be it. But they aren’t doing that and it’s what’s got most people upset about this system. This is the clearest solution! allow those that want to min max in that content bracket to do so. That way you are not forcing folks to do content they dont want to in order to get gear that will be scaled down when they do the lesser content anyway (334 getting dropped to 326 in warzones for example)

Having done some extensive testing with mercenary healer, i'm genuinely concerned about some of the limitations its going to find in play There are some key items that need to be reviewed two of the skills that are commonly used in the builds today are not available for selection choices these are: Jet rebounder from masterful (cd when hit and small aoe heal, plus heat management properties) Stabilized Armor from Heroic (30% dmg reduction while stunned and 30% reduction from all aoe's) Which in particular is going to hurt any pvp prospect for mercenary healer

As a since launch merc healer i've seen many iterations of builds come about one of the things i love about the current system is i can choose to spend my points lower down the skills tree if i choose to, for example i could have three tier 1 skills, 4 tier 2 skills and 2 tier 3 skills. The new system seems to make us choose to have specific either or items on tiers, rather than giving us the ability to select how we want out builds to play. The majority of players will want the max tier 3, i do feel its nice to have the option to select say two of a level if i chose to rather than my top abilitiy options. It also allows us to fill other roles needed in groups potentially. I'd love to see the option to have points to spend again and having requirements to get to tiers like in the current system, the layout of the new system im fine with, but i'd rather have more choice for abilities if i want to spend my spec points there.......
  8. There are many posts on the server forums regarding very large lag spikes, latency is ranging from sub 100ms to well over 5000 every few seconds. The few folks i've seen say their isp have been Spectrum, However thats only 4 i've seen so far. This seems to be affecting players all over the place. There was a diminish in performance when 6.3 launched, 6.3a seems to have made whatever the problem is significantly worse. At present the game is near unplayable. I personally have a downstream well over 100mbps down and 10mbps up, no issues in any other games

For me i think we should have the following bonuses, in what order is down to the community force scream generates a shield that absorbs a moderate amount of damage (this is an older effect that used to be on threatening scream i believe) have one of our core rotation abilities reset the cool down of single target taunt interceding to a target heals you for 8% and removes all threat from that target all of those are useful to some extent in both pvp and pve
  10. i have to say i agree, it seems impossible to win particularly as heals with some groupings, usually the que makes one decent team and one poor team all you can do is hope you get a good mix and stand some chance in solo
