  1. Here is a tip for you guys to avoid getting scammed easily and if needed, making a more detailed report if it happens to you that the referral person blocked/ignored you. Record everything if you can, especially in-game. Set up anything, screenshots or video is better. Nvidia Shadowplay (for Nvidia cards) or Fraps may work. First of all, you need to make a deal with the referral owner through conditions. Here is how it works: 1) If you are looking for a ref link in chat (example: credits or items in exchange for referral link usage), ask for the referral link owner to meet in any area of the planet or if you have a stronghold, in your stronghold. If him or her refuses to do this, you may proceed with caution. First small red flag. 2) Ask the referral owner to share his or her legacy name with you when you meet with him or her. (This in case his legacy name is not displayed). I would recommend to tell him or her to keep the legacy name active on display for the remaining duration of the deal. If him or her refuses to show you his or her legacy name, second big red flag. You should not proceed. 3) Write down his or her character and legacy name. Tell him or her that you are recording/taking screenshots, and that if him or her blocks you after you click the referral link, you will make a report. If him or her blocks you and goes away after you share this with him or her, you saved yourself from a scammer. If you have his or her legacy name, it will be easier to make the report. This, since the scammer can easily delete that character and it is harder to report a character that is deleted in my experience. Still, this may not protect you from everything. You still need to be mindful that this person may be using another server (not his main server), but I still believe that it may be easier to track him or her down with a legacy name. Secondly, be mindful of odd characters in names and legacy names. These may be hard to write down at the time of report. If you see odd kind of names with symbols. I would stay away unless you can type these down exactly as they are, and can confirm these lead to the referral link owner. But it is up to you. So now then you have his or her referral link, account name (via the ref link), legacy name, and character name. I do believe this may be enough information to provide a more than detailed report to customer support. If him or her deletes his or her character, you still have the legacy name. I think customer support may have extra ways to track the scammer down easier, but this method I think protects you a little bit more from the player-side panorama. I think this also speaks of the other person. If him or her is willing to give you the time to do it well, is taking care of you, is guiding you, and is agreeing to a deal plus your conditions. I think that speaks of the person with the referral link. But, if him or her is pressuring you to do it faster, or doesn't want to give you the time or patience, be careful. Also, take into consideration that the referral owner is also getting a reward, so you should not feel pressured for anything. It is a deal/trade in which two parties are agreeing to do their part in exchange for something, not a gift. Also check the URL of the referral link twice to be sure it is not phishing or any malicious link. Just in case. Still, I would recommend to use forum links from the signatures. I think getting into the credits/items in exchange for a referral link is a gamble. But still, with these steps, you should at least avoid being an easy target. Hope that helps! I am sure there may be more methods to protect yourself, but these are the ones that worked for me. Also! never reveal any kind of personal information, or any kind of information that may lead to your security questions, and do your best to be mindful to who you give your account name via referral. It is important to say that as far as I know, your SWTOR account is bound to your EA Origin account. (may be wrong, but that has been my experience). In the case you get one of the two stolen, you lose both. Please be careful with this, and be smart too. Nobody knows really who is behind the other computer unless you know him or her irl. (This is just me being a little bit paranoic, but one never knows. Stay safe please if you can!). Hope that helps. Take care and cheers!
  2. Thank you so much bioware and swtor dev team! Can't wait to see what's next on this Jedi vs Sith theme! I enjoyed the content the most by the second part of the entire story-line, especially everything about the temple. You all did a great job on this one in my opinion! I love the new direction a lot.
  3. I want to share that I loved everything since the arrival at the temple at Ossus. That plus I thought Malgus was going to be added to my companion rooster. But all in all, I loved the game-play and story flow through the temple. I absolutely loved slashing Jedis through the halls of that place. The story was amazing, but unfortunately to me, it ended incredibly fast. I thought that was the beginning of a large plot that was ready to be playable. I was getting so excited lmao, and was kind of disappointing that it ended so fast. I WANT MORE LIKE THAT PLEASE! I think it is a great direction for the sith warrior. (I had played EVERYTHING this game has to offer for the story of this class. By far, I love this direction the most since pretty much anything). I love the Jedi vs Sith theme again. I hope we see more like this, and we see the introduction of deeper, ****** and interesting characters like Malgus. I hope we can meet one like Malgus for our companion rooster. But all in all, I want to share that I loved the mission of the temple. I loved everything about it. Please give us more like this bioware! Amazing mission in my opinion. Again my suggestion is to make more like this. PLEASE DO MORE LIKE THAT!!! Great job on this story and new planet! I can't wait to see what's next in this Jedi vs Sith direction. I am excited here for anything that is to come.
  4. I would love to see some trial tomb short story like in KotOR 2 Korriban for force sensitives, and something similar to the Jekk Jekk Tarr rescue mission for non force sensitives. I would really like to see references to characters like Kreia, Nihilus, Revan and Malak. For non force sensitives, more references to Go-To, Mira, Bao-Dur and even The builder of The Ebon Hawk. I am not even sure if this is possible. I do not know what is cannon anymore and what is not, but I would love to see some kind of short story with that kind of aesthetic, and mission development. Something that lasts minimum one hour and can be repeatable in the future.
  5. I really would love this, even like having the possibility to run flash-points with three of my companions. It would be great if there were OPS to practice, filled with all our companions so when we go to the actual OPS with players we already have a glance of the mechanics and expectations.
  6. Guys, I got the rancor today for 85mil! Thank you so much to the trader that did it on pub side. I am really happy ^.^. Wish you all a great Friday and weekend :)/ Jam
  7. Lemme know if you agree to that price. It is my max currently. PST me in [Removed because trade was completed, thanks ]. Cheers! :)/ Note: at the time of making this offer, there is a holo rancor for 106mil at the GTN. Note 2: If I complete the trade or changed my mind. I will edit this post. Note 3: Seems like the 106mil rancor is gone and went up to 120mil. Lemme know if you still agree to this price :]. Edit: I got the rancor, thank you so much for reading ^.^
  8. I want to suggest something I had on my mind for a while, but did not had sub status to post it. Basically is this. Imagine random events rewarding players. These events happen every two to five or ten minutes depending on the planet and its population. More populated planets have more time between events and less populated have less time between events. This by averaging their population. It works almost like a world-boss. These events obey a timer that appears on each planet. These events are to engage players while doing anything in any planet. Now that the servers just merged, would be a great thing to have. This is also to make planets more fun while roaming around them. Sometimes I feel like travelling is a little bit boring (I know there is quick travel, but I don't use it that much because I want to enjoy the planet), and would be nice to have something to do on them. These events could be: - Random enemy spawns such as specific groups of npcs. This, depending on the planet. It could be a group of beasts or a group of robots. - Sith or Jedi enemy spawns depending on factions. - Seeking for an object that spawns on the planet. The finder earns a reward. These events are active on a timer basis. For example this can be a situation: You are travelling around lets say, Voss. You see a timer on the center-top of the screen that says 5 minutes. When that timer reaches 0, a message appears saying that a group of 25 beasts appeared near X area of the faction map. Then, a new timer will appear with a timer to complete that event. If the timer reaches 0, a text will appear saying that the event was not completed and a new timer will appear to introduce a new event. In this case the 5 minute timer will return. To the players that go to the area in which this event is, and in this case attack at least one beast and complete the event before it reaches 0, they are rewarded. The rewards are split depending on how many kills you got, or how many objectives a player gets. This will give an incentive for players to receive what they did. To avoid potential farming, the rewards need to be small. It may be 50 credits per beast killed multiplying themselves for each kill. The main factor of these events is fun, not really a reward, not at all. So, this should be something players do for fun rather than farming. Also, instead of credits it could be commendations, or even better, achievements instead of any entity to spend. It could be also dope if these events gave us special coins for which we can only trade to a specific and special vendor for which it gives us BOUND only or LEGACY wide items. So this also can help to remove farming. What I am trying to state is basically a system of events in all planets. This is for those like me to like to travel a lot to planets, discovering secrets and wandering in the weirdest places to where not everybody goes. But while at the same time inviting more interaction with the environment. Travelling and attacking random mob groups is boring, at least to me, and it is a repetitive task. The incentive is low, and it is not engaging for anybody else. So, these evens can attract folks that want that special coins for the special vendor of BOUND only items, so we can do events together. But please note, these events are of course not obligatory. Anybody can ignore them if they want, and also there should be an option to disable event messages. In a different universe, this can also work without annoying more folks in the following way. 1.- Event timers as previously said. 2.- Instead of the event playing on the planet, make a portal that appears near the character. One will have the option to disable this as-well, just as the timers if one doesn't want to participate. 3.- When you click the teleporter (portal), it transfers you and others into an instance, it could be a specific scenario or arena. Note, before entering, it asks you if you really want to enter it. 4.- There is a timer, and an option to quit the instance if wished as exit area. 5.- If timer goes to 0 and nobody completes the challenge, a text appears on the screen saying, event failed and it returns you and others to the places in which they were before entering the teleporter. 6.- If challenge is completed, a reward is given and everybody is returned to their original places before entering the portal. Imagine this happening in all these cool planets. Voss, Belsavis, Taris, Korriban, Makesh, Oricon, etc. The possibilities are huge. Artists can also make specific arenas for these places for the time of teleportation (portals). It would be fun I think, but for this to work, there needs to be a variety of events per planet. Lets say ten or twenty per planet, each different because if you make them all the same on all the planets, they will get repetitive and boring fast. Variety will provide fun and options. Let me know what you think if you can! But I am so glad I took this one off my chest. I had it for a while. I really, really want this in SWTOR since I strongly believe it will make planet exploration more fun, and will add incentive to participate together accomplishing something in strange populated planets, and maybe it may make us meet more planet explorers that just like to wander around :]. Sorry for my bad English and thanks for reading! TLDR: I want to suggest a variety of random events happening on every planet via timers that are set as two, five or ten minutes each depending on the planet and its average population, options are given for those that don't want to participate and rewards are given. These rewards are specific coins for a specific vendor to avoid farming. The rewards are BOUND and LEGACY wide items. These random events are mainly for fun. I cannot include all the details in the TLDR, so please. If you want to know more, read the previous information I posted, and you will see more. Best Regards, Jam :)/
  9. Those are unbound and ready to trade. The only bad side is that I can't put them on the GTN. Hope that helps! Cheers! :)/

  11. I was thinking on that. I actually wanted to make that suggestion somewhat ago, but I was thinking about it. It would become boring, and one can have already one in the ship. So, regarding aesthetics. In my opinion. I would prefer to have a cool NPC instead of a dull and boring dummy. But that's just me. But I like the idea of customizing the dummy tho. That's genius. I was thinking on doing that with the NPC console, but for some reason. I thought it was too much for a single item realistically. Good points, thanks for share. :)/
