  1. ouch... that definitely sounds like a overdrive nerf really... I see a pattern, sages also seem to complain their dps tree is also in a bad shape... inclined to think they want more healers? would've been wiser and easier to drop the pvp healing debuff a tad?... I remember healing was terrible back when I quit, and from what I read it still is.

    I dont know where the idea that giving "rewards" (if so what kind exactly?) are "incentive" to world pvp, the 2 best world pvp games ever didnt have them really, world pvp was a result of a fluid, well designed and player driven content/mechanics/world. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=504934

  4. encouraging organized teamplay is the way any MMO should head, be it pvp or pve.
  5. just coming back to this game after... huh.. dunno how many months. operatives/scoundrel's finally got nerfed? or was it just powertech/commandos that got buffed? or both? in what patch (want to check the changes in the patch notes) but I do remember how powerfull ops/scounds were back when I quit, even without biochem they could kill people without them being able to respond.

I salute you for the atempt, but its an impossible task, world pvp needs to be a result of decent third pillar/community/player driven content and mechanics, to try to "force it happen" is just clinging to something that has not been implemented in MMO's since vanilla/tbc wow. many people ask what was so great about vanilla wow, well its something that all MMO's since failed to do, and why all MMO's since then can be generally said to have failed. 1- exploration pillar driven mechanics and content 2- player driven mechanics and content get rid of instanced worlds/zones, get rid of huge-empty-pointless-to-travel worlds, get rid of easy mode instant traveling and teleporting in and out of content, bring back good world design, meaningfull travel and exploration incentives, world events, world bosses, territorial assets and all stuff of the kind. and this is not only important for world pvp or pvp'ers, the same aspects that have been lost in MMO gaming that fuel world pvp, also fueled alot of other stuff, including crafting/gathering and world -pve- events that were fun and different from typical pve content.

    did two more games, and the problem seems to be returning... sadly dont have time for more till tomorrow. but it seems it was one of those 1% out of 99% games where I didnt have ability lag and teleporting folks, not sure if it was server load that increased? if so fix would be more/better servers? I just know those were the coolest 2 warzones I EVER played since the pre-launch of this game.... if bioware can make it so that every warzone match is like that I will resubb, if not... hey I sacrificied BF3 to play this game, but its not to late to buy it.

    so I got the new patch and checked warzones, just did 2 full games without any noticable lag at all, did everyone else also had the problem fixed for them? did Bioware finally fixed it or is it a "fluke"? dont want to resub without having more matches done and feedback from other people.
  12. they are acurate actually... without consumables in fact... with those they can easily boost as high as 7-9k shoot firsts and the like. and I dont know any other class capable of that kind of burst. nvm how easy it is to setup and the fact that its a class with good defencive capability through stealth and cds aswell as healing
  13. well if operatives dont need a nerf, then all others classes need a buff for sure.
  14. nothing imaginary about that... do the math... 4-6k shoot first, 3-5k backs and punches... and these numbers can be fairly bigger aswell.

I dont think any of your ideas are actually what would drive world pvp into this game, hell I wouldnt want the job considering how the game came out, as it was carefully built against world pvp... 2 generic things to be invested in in order for world pvp to build up: 1- third pillar related content 2- player driven platforms/content you need that well invested and crafted to have good world pvp, and regardless of arenas zones pvp or warzones, you will get awesome world pvp
