  1. Hi! I wanted to add another thread about this because I really do think it'd be a helpful thing for Bioware to add to the game to increase interest. I like the idea of having new additional advanced classes. Mainly because I feel certain weapon types arent hardly used in the game beyond one advanced class at the moment. I.E. Sniper Rifle and Assault Cannon as well as adding the potential for new weapons like shields. Also, I believe the story of KotFE lends itself nicely to the emergence of these new disciplines due to how the cultures of zakuul and the rest of the galaxy impact one another. Im thinking something like: Bounty Hunter with vibroblade and Trooper with battlestaff - New Melee DPS and Tank Disciplines (Like Skytroopers) Smuggler and Agent with Assault Cannons - Mid Range DPS and Tank disciplines (Think Vette with Spewie...) Knight and Warrior with Polesabers - Close to mid range DPS and Heal Disciplines Consular and Inquisitor with sabers and shields- close DPS and Tank Disciplines. The force user classes ofcourse being impacted by the knights of zakuul. Lore wise, I see the biggest difficulty being that the game takes place over a span of many years so saying that zakuuls impact on advanced classes is odd since the time frame wouldn't line up well when you choose a new advanced class at level 1. And if that is a deal breaker, then forget about lore. Games like WoW and Guild Wars 2 didnt even address the lore when they added new weapon types to their classes or even playable races for classes in WoW. FFXIV makes zero sense in how its classes work. In that, you could be a max level dragoon then go back to an old town and train to be an archer. Then while doing that, they wont even treat you like the savior to the land though they very well should. A hurdle Ive read for some is that since we cant change our advanced classes, that this would frustrate a lot of players but honestly, leveling up is so fast now... And hell, when these new classes are released, you could do an additional double xp event and we'll hit 70 in a day or two. Some also mentioned adding an advanced class that could tank or heal, but I am a bit nervous about that. A tank and healer advanced class would be a godsend in uprisings or flashpoints but it would be OP. Some have also mentioned adding a new role like Support but that makes me anxious cuz what if not many people like it. Then it'll take even longer to get that role for Ops. yuck. TL:DR --- Add new advanced classes to make other weapon types used more often.
  2. haha, yeah. Like Star Fortresses. Its always sucks when I forget to resummon and get steamrolled.
  3. Yes! This! I posted about this recently and neglected to do a search. This would be so helpful so i don't have to sift through 40 companions to find my favorite ones every time.
  4. Hi! I have enjoyed having access to 40ish companions; however, it can be a bit cumbersome to scroll through the list of 40 to find my favorite companions. It'd be cool, if next to the companion, there would be a summoning button for that particular companion that I could click or drag to my action bar. This way, I could easily switch between my 3 or 4 favorite companions by clicking the buttons on my action bar (which would be especially helpful when I load into a different section of the map and my companion disappears. Thanks!
  5. Hi! Today I went through many pugs in Story mode trying to do this Uprising and it was hell. After reading about it on dulfy, it appears the damage and health is the same as veteran mode. would you be able to nerf that so we can have an easier time with a group of random 4 individuals since getting a healer and tank for these things is damn near impossible. Thanks
  6. You might be thinking of Black Talon. cuz that one, Boarding Party, Battle of Ilum, Foundary, False Emperor, Directive 7, and Shadows of Revan FPs all have the Jesus droid, but not the others if I remember correctly.
  7. Hi! All the talk of changes recently for the release of 5.0 sounds great to me. Mainly cuz I dont have to deal with ninjas or completing ops with zero rewards ever again. YAY. However, can we explore the possibility to adding rewards to Ops in 5.0 to increase interest in them? Maybe titles, decos, mounts, unique armor, and unique weapon skins, etc... I know there are some now but they aren't really a factor atm that drives people to do Ops. I havent seen people say in chat, "Need Karaggas hat, LFG KP" I say this because sometimes even on a busy server like harbinger, it can take 45 minutes to an hour to even form a pug group and that can be really annoying. I worry queuing up for a tactical would give me greater rewards over a span of 3 hours then trying to run an OPs group that may or may not succeed. Thanks for reading.
  8. Seeing the cross-faction support for PVP, I have been wondering if we would also be expanding the guilds to be cross-faction as well. It'd be a really big help for us who enjoy the classes and stories of both factions while still being a part of a community of players we love. Thanks
  9. Yeah I suppose this is more of what I meant. I just really want to be able to chat with the friends Ive made while I enjoy a really fun game, no matter the faction Im playing at the time.
  10. I'm sure this has been mentioned many times before but I really can not emphasize how beneficial it would be to allow cross-faction guilds to exist in this game. One of my favorite things about this game that I feel is unique is that the player experience is so unique depending on which of the 8 classes you choose. It is a lot of fun exploring the stories and meeting all the companions. However, it is difficult to do this when you have a guild on one faction while you want to play the characters on the other. My guild has attempted to have a sister guild on the Republic and it works alright; however, we found that we still wanted to spend time with the others on the Imperial faction so we haven't dedicated ourselves to the growth of the Republic guild due to missing our Imperial only friends. Logistically, I can see that there would be a few challenges to implement this. First, we'd have to figure out someway to set apart guild members who are logged onto one faction or the other. Perhaps by letting us choose different colored font for each of the factions. Also, the decision would need to be made on whether we'd allow people to do cross-faction FPs and OPs. Personally, I don't think it would fit with the story of the current and past FPs and OPs to allow it. Maybe in the future depending on the turns the story goes and if it'd permit cross-faction group content. Another challenge would be what we can and cannot send to our fellow guild members across the factions. I realize that games like WoW don't allow this but I believe Swtor to really be unique in its story driven experience that causes a lot of people to want to play both factions. For the main story we are currently involved, I do not feel it would be much of a hindrance to allow atleast the ability to chat in the guild cross-server. I really feel this process would help guilds to become more cohesive and would overall improve the player experience which would also equal more subs! Thanks for reading my long-winded suggestion
  11. Alrighty, cool. Thanks for the input. I'll give it a shot just for kicks and giggles and see where it leads, haha.
  12. Hi! I am leveling my Sentinel right now and was really curious about the concentration spec. I tried doing some research but wasn't able to find much that was relatively recent. I hope to be doing FPs and Ops down the road with this class if I enjoy it enough. The one thing I did come across is that the Concentration spec does add a bit of survivability for the Sentinel which I have heard is an issue for the class. Is that true? And anyone know where I might find a decent Concentration build? Thanks
