  1. Again, you do the exact same thing you accuse others of, Deanna, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, just this once. The Grace period as Tergon said should be Account versus character, do you agree or disagree? At any rate that is the only complaint I have about this coming update.
  2. Hey Finally something we can agree on Tergo As per the topic. Devs, please consider tweaking the grace period, quite frankly all that was really needed was removing conquest from gkicks.
  3. Oh yes Grand Arbiter of "truth" and Reality. Lmao, great assumption there, but dangerously naïve. I reject you and your alternate facts.
  4. I wish your math worked out, but you wrongly assume the mass recruits all perform evenly or stay on for more than even an hour. This is incorrect. In fact, I'd say the average mass recruit nets less than 100k even over a week of being in any one guild. To generate "Millions of points" requires consistently inviting and kicking large swaths of these players to an inordinate extreme, and even then, whoever's doing the mass recruiting, has to eventually rest or take a break. ect. The bot doesn't. It still generates more conquest points, and why all crafting is being made bot proof. The String of guilds on DM and the few on Star Forge that go to those lengths will be impacted, sure, but not in the same way a guild running a bot will. At any rate these changes offer a double whammy to any and all exploiters, outside of a resource gathering exploit that I will be breaking here soon, the developers have done an excellent job addressing these issues.
  5. It's a temporary conquest event, it goes back to just a few planets next week. I'd like to see more yields opened up as well.
  6. Your individual situation doesn't reflect the resources a large guild has access too. (@Dwho)Hundreds of millions? Lmao, give me a break. The botters don't run it continuously, just enough to keep their edge. Hundreds of people collectively donating their mats could easily supply a cabal of 12-20 botters as they selectively turn on and off their macro, usually at night or if they need a gap closing big push. They spread the points too across their alts or get removed and re-added to guild to keep from sticking out like a sore thumb with a single character at 17-22 mil conquest. You literally won't find these people outside of Hiring a dev to do nothing but sit there and monitor all user data. Not going to Happen. Thanks. And btw(@Terrigon), while the 6-7 stack crafting schematics are optimal, the botting can be done just as efficiently in tandem with others running even the basic mats, with a near 100% crit rate you still end up outperforming even the most ardent and active players on the entire server. The bot can easily do 14 million in conquest while someone playing non stop at 6 hours a day, if dedicated, can reach 10-11 mil doing heroics ect. They're human, they need to rest and eat. The bot doesn't. When it comes to repetition and conquest there is literally no equal for the average person.
  7. This is incorrect, when automated and with the right amplifiers and flagship bonuses that impact crafting times, critical rates, and using schematics to craft items that drop in 6-7 stacks, you can push conquest numbers close to 400k an hour, and thats being very conservative. Thats why it got removed, 8 people running it at night could resist any push in conquest and maintain a lead literally sleeping.
  8. That level of botting can easily be overcome.
  9. You're a funny man my friend, I know you don't like the changes, but at least you are able to keep a level head about it. I can respect that about you.
  10. No, again reading comprehension is required, not assigning to my words your own interpretation. The dude went on and talked about political crap that has nothing to do with the argument, as if someone's personal identity has anything to do with crafting. Misdirection, a side show to the argument. Get it? Of course you don't, that was never the point of your trifling ad hominem campaign that has no argument. Cut the crap, dude. Wrong again. But at this point you're just talking in circles. There's no wrong assumptions here because I never accused anyone here of cheating. Next. I silence Nobody. More Ad-hominem misdirection, stay on topic of the thread please. Present a cogent argument worth picking apart besides useless finger pointing. Wrong Again. All I was pointing out was how crafting inventor was being abused. I Never advocated for war supplies or any other crafting objective to be nerfed. Bioware just took the step on their own measure. More false accusations, you're on a roll tonight, dude. And all the people botting all 20 of their characters for the conquest rewards end up causing hyperinflation for those who actually play legit instead of letting their computer run while they're eating popcorn. Thanks. No. I came here with a cordial and well worded post that you immediately shot down and began lobbing personal attacks and innuendo about those supporting the effort to make conquest a level playing field. The post was reported for spam in an attempt to completely shut down the debate. I don't respect that, and at that point I was done playing games. Ever hear of the Streisand effect? Yeah, the pendulum swung back.
  11. I'm not claiming to be anyones hero. I'm not on a high horse either, don't be upset or rustled when I talk back when attacked or called out. Especially when I'm pointing out a long running abuse of the system. Never called you a cheater or accused anyone here of cheating. Why am I righteous all of the sudden? All I'm doing is shining light on and exposing major fraud. People Macro. They bot conquest, get the rewards, and in the same length of the large scale conquest abusers, the small time folks drive down the price of mats people earn through legit play. Cheapens real effort on part of those actually playing the game when they go to sell their materials versus some dude who leaves his computer running while he sleeps or watches tv. Next.
  12. I get that, you're speaking about guilds with 10-15 active people. Each without SH bonuses maybe getting 200-300k conquest over a week. The solution to this are simple: recruit, Give your community content worth logging in for, select a yield that reflects your actual play time, or all three at once. People in guilds of 5 or less active people looping a macro to make their 5 mil large yield goal frankly doesn't concern me, however, a cabal organizing fire teams of 10-15 botters to spike conquests over planets unfortunately could not be ignored.
  13. Oh, and to the people suggesting we go over the "Botters" themselves, or add a way to eliminate Macros, this individual can explain to you why this is not possible. In addition theres ways to hide the conquest points one earns from botting, including removing and re-inviting to guild, as well as spreading the conquest out over several alts. As I said in the post that sparked this debate, IT CAN NOT BE ROOTED OUT. It's like snipping a weeds leaf, and calling the problem fixed. No, no, no. We're cutting this vampires heart out so it doesn't rise again.
