I FOUND THE SOLUTION: First of all, there is a known issue with the new Crimson drivers and MSI Afterburner. So you'll definitely want to uninstall that. Also, Radeon recommends completely uninstalling any previous drivers with their uninstall tool, which is a total pain in the ***, but probably necessary. So make sure you use their software and closely follow the instructions. You can adjust the clock/voltage/memory settings (along with a few other things) using Global Wattman in Radeon Settings (part of the Crimson Driver). Which brings me to the real issue I found with the RX 480. It turns out that all of the RX 480's cards ship out already overclocked as their default setting. If you look at the actual manufacturer's specs you'll see that the GPU is designed to run at a maximum of 1120MHz. The third party dealers that are actually selling them "tune" the cards, altering their specs. My card came "tuned" to run at 1290Mhz with a max temperature threshold of 90C (which is pretty hot). Try this (after you get rid of MSI Afterburner and are sure you have a clean driver install): - Go to Global Settings in Radeon Settings - Go to Global Wattman - Under GPU click on Frequency so the toggle is in the on position and, using the slider to the right, manually reduce it to -13 (that should bring the max clock speed down to 1190Mhz). You might be able to get away with a little bit faster than that, but it's been the sweet spot on my rig. - I also switched my fan speed to manual, with the Min set at 1998 and Target at 2955 (about 2000 and 3000 respectively) - I also switched the Temperature to manual with Max at 80 and Target at 50. - DON'T FORGET TO CLICK APPLY IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER. Hi, since I got a new graphic card (AMD rx480) my computer tends to restart everytime in an instance with lots of people like WZ or OPS i put my character near a wall and I turn the camera around (I can see my character's back), like this https://gyazo.com/77370fc332de0099ce430f8d6cecf9a8 yes, there is a wall behind me. . Before purchasing this new graphics card, I was playing at low fps but at least my PC didn't restart everytime i do that with my camera. But now I can even play ultra 60fps... I tried disabling and enabling Camera Pivot and Smart Camera but it does not fix it. If someone has the same issue or knows how to fix it, please say it!! I have tried both Windows 7 and Windows 10 but it is the same, and yes, my drivers are updated to the last version.
