  1. After playing for about a week I decided to find out what this light vs dark thing was that was on my UI. Is this event still in full swing? Is it worth it to start this event now? When does it stop? Thanks for any advice.
  2. Good to see something is being done, however I'm still seeing several gold sellers every time I make a new character or log an old one. Is it really that hard to have a GM monitor chat a few times/work shift & ban the accounts straight away that are selling? Also it still sucks to have to ignore the sellers on EACH CHARACTER we have. An ignore account feature would be awesome.
  3. Dead watch is right twice/day syndrome?
  4. As a player who never really cared for the GTN/AH game, I usually price to sell quickly but I never undersell but such a little margin. I remember when playing WoW that I used an add-on that offer an undercut by 5% which is what I usually went with based on supply. I just never really enjoyed the market game. I'd much rather max all crafting professions and be independent.
  5. lol Infernixx may be a regular but if you peruse his comments you wouldn't be offering him a job any time soon.
  6. I think what he is saying is that when the Emperor dies, what's left story wise? Another Emperor? Dragons? Battlefront?
  7. Well look what we have here. Let me answer your thread with your own comments. Apparently, the entitlement in this game has no bounds or depths. You pay for access to the game with far less limitations than the F2Pers or the Preferred crowd. Nothing more, nothing less. If you feel you're owed anything more than that for your $15, well, that's just what we call an 'overblown sense of entitlement. This one is strong with the mad. you poor delicate flower you. man, you are salty, aren't you? I used the Ravagers bug quite a lot on a number of characters back when it was going on You're so wrong about that. He's really not, but whatever. internet arguing! This is getting ridiculous. No, this isn't a problem on my end. No, don't delete this thread, this is a great thread, don't get rid of it. I don't see why this thread isn't locked and disposed of. Why are you still here? I say this with the utmost respect and utter sincerity: You need therapy. But, maybe you're right and we need to organize some protests and marches to battle this digital discrimination. pretty sure that Lucasarts never cared. It's not even for certain that Disney cares right now. omg, your butthurt can be seen from orbit. lol What you're doing here is called 'pulling numbers out of your butt and pretending like you know what the hell you're talking about.' I think the whole thing is dead and done and people need to stop beating the dead horse and find something new to be outraged over. no one cares if you're leaving or staying. And it's 'Friday.' We have another 2 full days to enjoy this thread. This thread delivers It comes down to the fact that we've been working on the raids since launch and most of us are at that tipping point where the frustration with the broken parts of this expansion is outweighing our I wonder how much of this anger is coming from frustrated jealousy. Dear BW, I'm a dirty dirty exploiter who deserves to have my gear taken away, but ALSO EVERYONE ELSE, TOO! Please punish me like the dirty dirty cheater that I am! Punish me! Punish me, gosh darn... Well, the bans have hit my guild pretty hard. You know, I'm not a fan of TOR's current handling of its 'many' issues, but your post makes little to no sense. Likewise. And if our irritations are equal in regards to the rather horrible state of the game at the moment, then it comes down to numbers. Life isn't fair? Honestly, at this point, I don't even care anymore. There's never enough communication to suit any MMO community since every player expects an answer to their own questions by the Dev. This is why I was hoping to get a Dev response. As for dismissal and snarky comments about 'vocal' whatevers,... Pretty sure we have the right to be upset at being misled by incomplete patch notes. Not boycotting. Just moving on to a different game if the punishment was overly harsh. I think it's fair to say that such thinking shouldn't be a surprise. Your post has a whining tone to it. Awww, did you want a reward for being a good and honorable player? All the arguing is a moot point. What's done is done, Your post is rather passive aggressive. He commented with snark that boiled down to his discontent Guessing that he/she has reached the point where dealing with the system quietly isn't working, so might as well make a scene in front of as many players as possible and hope that the embarrassment... Do you know the difference between justice and punishment? Man, you're angry. Whether I'm punished or not is irrelevant. I mean, don't you get it? Your gameplay is completely unaffected either way, and yet you're furious about all of it. Like you're personally offended. ... Do you get this wound up when people use god-mode on Devil May Cry? Honestly, I think you need to relax, take a deep breath and calm down. It's not that big of a deal when compared to things like... It's mob mentality and, frankly, it's disgusting. As I said, I'm not worried about the consequences. If they ban me, I'll wander off and find another game to play To say that past behavior is irrelevant is ridiculous. ... I did the exploit, too. And here's how it went down. I don't honestly care Except they won't. They'll blame BW. And with the simmering impatience and anger regarding this expansion's problems you're going to ruin his delusion if you keep pointing out reality like that. Not in those words, but that was your meaning. You, you, you, your. Concerned just with... You're sitting here asking for information that you could find out for yourself just by playing. And this game and its content needs to be designed solely around yourself, of course. I think that since you're already subscribed that you should go into the game and figure that out for yourself. none of the people you need to reach with this rage post will ever read it. Welcome to Futility. This freaking forum. The more I read posts like this, the more I realize that I enjoy the game more when I don't come here. Whining and complaining about developers Thanks, Obama. Wouldn't this have been better posted in the original thread? Or were you of the opinion that your novel-response deserves its own thread so we can all see it? So don't expect any sympathy from your fellow players since you treat us with such respect. And don't expect much from BW since you treat them with such respect. And don't expect sympathy from anyone who doesn't troll, exploit, mock, and degrade anyone with an idea other than yours. Edit: I didn't bother going much earlier than Jan 2015 b/c I think we all can see what kind of guy this is.
  8. After reading the first 3 pages it sounds to me like the issue is basically getting run over by premades and the randoms you're queuing with have neither the ability nor the wherewithal to protect you. Premades protect their healers with guard, cross healing, and peels all of which are coordinated via VOIP. There is no way you will beat them unless you're in a premade yourself. I used to share your same frustration but I eventually gave up the fight. Most MMOs will never have a truly solo queue, certainly not SWTOR. The only step I can think of that would help make solo queues solo friendly is to make queues cross server. The pops would go so fast, that queue syncing wouldn't work. Of course this would have to be coupled with the inability to queue as a group. I ended up joining a guild that ran premades before I last quit. Now that I've come back, almost none of them are playing the game any longer so I can either find another guild or solo queue with the expectation of what can and will happen occasionally.
  9. OK. I wasn't aware different accounts could have the same Legacy name. I suppose that is what it was then.
  10. My first thought when I realized it was strictly for players was "fail" but I don't want to be the Negative Nancy in the room so I'll say I hope they add it.
  11. I've been away for a while so excuse my noobness if something new was installed I'm not aware of. I just exited a warzone where our team was getting crushed by a group of 4-5 players all with a surname of Prime. At first glance, I thought it was just a premade with the guild named Prime but then I realized that "Prime" appeared after the first name and not under the character as I've seen every other guild name. The group moved as one & attacked like a multi-boxer all targeting the same person at the exact same instant. I realize premades communicate over VOIP and can coordinate attacks but I used to multi-box in another game & this seemed all too precise. Is there a new title called "Prime" that can be listed as a suffix? In any event, how did they all have the same last name?
  12. I think if they merge servers then they need to go 3 ways: RP, PvE, PvP. Rpers don't want to deal with the regular PvE crowd any more than the PvP crowd does. Secondly, all servers would have to relocate to Central Time Zone. It's not fair to have a Coastal player getting less than 50 latency while the other Coast has 175+ during peak times in group events.
  13. It may not be a perfect system but he's basically given you the blueprint on how to compete at level 60 when you first start out. Many things are broken. Pvp gear system may be broken. Life is broken. But the question you have to ask yourself is, will you be one of the people that find a way to survive or will you be one of the people who complain about things being broken? Smart people find a way to survive in real life. Smart people find a way to survive in game.
  14. +1 to the OP I'd be less against it if people just wouldn't spam the crap out of their link. Log in, hit your message, go play; I have no problem. Sitting in zone & spamming your message is BS.
