  1. Yup...almost. If they had just blocked any new people from joining already full servers, and offered some guild transfers to the new ones, all would have been right with the world. Used to be I could log right in at 9am CST...but today there is a 20 minute wait...either a lot of newbies (i.e., ones who don't read the forums or even know what a forum is) signed up for a maxed out server or there are just a lot of people who took today off work - lol. Here's hoping that all the brain power at BW figures this out quickly....oh and give us a grace period before being DC'd because of internet interruption - at the very least keep us at the front of the queue...please?
  2. I have gotten this a lot over the past several days....submitted a ticket on it after first couple of times and finally got this response: I am Protocol Droid W2-O4 of Human-Cyborg Relations... I have received your transmission regarding error 1003. Normally, this means the server has gone down -- or been taken down for maintenance. It can also be related to firewall issues, so the usual 'check your firewall' instructions apply. For some people, this happens without any firewall issue and while the server is demonstrably up. For those folks, there is a thread on this topic, and the actual root cause is still unknown. But for many people, setting the launcher to run in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode seems to solve the problem as an interim workaround. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if there is anything further we can help you with. Galactic Support is our specialty... Sincerely, Protocol Droid W2-O4, aka Vin Star Wars: The Old Republic Customer Service Haven't tried it yet...but then I get different error codes (1002, 9000, 1003) every time I get DC'd and thrown back into queue.
  3. I never had to wait in a que for a WoW server! I know they had done some balancing before I started in 2008...but their subscriber base grew like crazy during that time and still never had an issue...this ain't rocket-science and since customer satisfaction is about being able to play...BW you really need to do something about this NOW.
