  1. Ooooh, I see! Thanks for letting me know. I thought testing the questline was a part of playing on the PTS. I guess that\s for their internal staff to test, to avoid public spoilers.
  2. There is nothing in chapters, nothing on my ship, nothing that pops up telling me how to proceed, nothing about LotS in my mission log. I am so flipping lost. How do I start the new story quest line?
  3. I'm aware of that. Just saying it's been a decade and they haven't really developed and improved much in the UI department. I'm pretty sure I know how riding a mount or just moving around works, and that getting stuck in terrain is not an intended feature. Sucks that the developers either 1) don't get enough resources to have people working on bugs or 2) don't love the game enough to make it better.
  4. It frustrates me at times that the old typical bugs have not been fixed to improve the game experience in swtor. I'm talking about the camera sensitivity bug, character-terrain-collision bugs/lags, UI and animation bugs when using abilities too fast, etc... Problems that have been in the game forever and influence the gaming experience for everyone. How come they are never getting fixed? And what about improvements to the UI with more options in the editor? Would love a slider for hp-bar-thickness etc. There is plenty of other gameplay or UI-related things that could be improved. Just seems like development in some core areas is stagnant. How come? New content is always cool, but zero time or effort put into these areas just makes the game feel older and stagnant. Kinda lazy in a way.
  5. Yea I know people should avoid standing in front because of cleaves. Was jsut wondering about dodge/parry on bosses. Anyway: I have a friend who have this (in my opinion silly) idea of him doing more damage, and getting more crits, from behind mobs... It isn't true, is it?
  6. Does damaging a boss from behind as melee in SW:TOR reduce the risk of a dodge/parry? I haven't seen any information regarding this, other then a guide that was made in beta, and it doesn't state any fact references for this to be in the game.

  8. LOL JK! I love this game so far! Sure it got some hinky-dinkeys here and there that needs fixing. But it's the most enjoyable gaming-experience I've had in a while. I just got my founders title and I'm damn proud of it (yea-yea everyone got it now bla-bla, but it means i didn't sissy out the first month like some people did). So really good job with the game so far! Really looking forward to fixes and future content! LAVV YA! Kisses, Dasset.
  9. Oh well... my only problem is the delay atleast, and that is being fixed: http://www.swtor.com/blog/georg-zoeller-gives-update-ability-delay
  10. I was just about to make a topic about the delay on Cover. It's like it takes 0.5-1 sec for my character to sit down. I'd get it if there were a cast timer on it, but right now it just feels like pure lag (which i assume it is in some way). Even om 70ms this happens, and it's what really slows down the PvP for me. Personally I don't mind the cast-times etc. We do have instant-abilities aswell to use when needed. Whenever I have a melee class on me, I try to knock him back and slow him (you know... kiting). Here's the main issue regarding that though: It takes too damn long to sit yourself down behind cover just to use Cover Pulse. I wanna sit down, use Cover Pulse, maybe get another ability off, and start moving again when it's needed. Right now I lose 0.5 to 1 (if not more at times?) seconds which is more then enough time for that melee elenemy to stun or whatever. It's also half a GCD lost in tight fights. So ye... Just fix the cover-delay, and I think alot of problems would feel solved. Apa's idea is really good though.
  11. DPS meters is an important part of a guild who wants to succeed in being one of the better guilds on their server. If we fail to down bosses due to lack of dps, how should we know which ones to replace? Should we just replace every single dps in our guild? That's alot of work... Even the idea of replacing one-by-one to see if it gets better is a huge hassle, and is nearly impossible in operations.
  12. It's one thing to give constructive feedback, or complain about a legit issue. But if you read some posts on the forums you can clearly see how silly some people are (I'm talking about complete utter whining-like-a-*****). I did not wish to pay to get into beta, but it sure feels like it's beta. But instead of crying about it on the forums, I feedback the stuff I see to help them make the game better. It's not required, but I want to do it, because I freakin love this game. A couple of things not mentioned in the OP's list: Game-Age: WoW > Rift > SW:TOR (take into consideration that "WoW > Rift > SW:TOR" was the most common one in the list.. see the pattern?). In-game maturity on players: SW:TOR >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> WoW % of helpful playets in-game: SW:TOR >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> WoW
  13. It's not. - A patch is the updated data you download. - The 8 hours downtime is called "maintenance". - The servers are not down every day. - Even if they say 8 hours, it could still be just for a couple of hours. - I see no reason to cry about developers fixing bugs.
  14. I'd like to see addons. As a tank it's quite hard to see enemies HP, and what enemy you have targeted. This combined with targeting itself being somewhat jerky at the moment makes it bad. Sure they can add options for all this in the game themselves. But ask yourself this: Would you rather open up your preferences, scroll through hundreds of settings, just to change 1 little thing? Or would you rather allow players to set their UI up for their own needs without cluttering things down for players who are satisfied with the original UI? Even if they implement addon-support, you don't need to use it. And no I would not like to see DBM in SW:TOR, but there is an easy solution for that: Do not make the combat log readable (if it's added at all). Only allow addons/mods that change the current UI (like action bars, HP bars, target/targettarget/focus etc..). Some kind of boss-mod would still be do-able, but not to the extent of seing exacly everything.
  15. I work but only about 30 hours a week (on average - sometimes more, sometimes alot less). ****** pay so not much to brag about. But atleast i get more time to spend on swtor right now.
