  1. Some base items - i noticed bracers, belts and droid parts (i.e. the types that do not carry enhancements as modables) have blues called "critical", "overkill" and "absorb". They add base stats and a small amount of crit, power or absorb rating. Further, a "critical" blue item could be reversed to a purple item with the same name (but higher stats and rating). It seems like an improvement to the system - adding base stats makes better items and useless combos will not be missed I guess. However, a blog/patch note/explanation would have been nice. Hopefully Dulfy can throw the whole thing on her site soon
  2. Very light on details for crew skills.... guess I will have to wait a bit to learn if anything has changed. I would expect new tiers of materials and augmentation kits etc but who knows?
  3. It sounds like many have enjoyed the event so I won't argue that it was not a good idea. However, personally I do think that it should have been optional and that the leveling will exhaust itself fairly quickly. Some of the class stories are good, i agree, but how many times before they become stale as well? There are only 8 of them after all
  4. Special letters seem to be the solution most use, ü å and so on But yeah it is an issue
  5. Dunno. Do we anything in the cartel packs? I mean there are only so many colors. The blue-yellow one was new but I'd rather have a yellow or a blue. The walker is nice and all but chances are I'll just get more armor I can't use nor sell, so I pass on this one. Pity about that walker though
  6. I guess. I hope to be able to access crafting materials and BOL armors freely in the bank. Since that is what I tend to mail between my characters. I expect that the storage will be too limited to make this work in practice without a very large cartel coin investment. i hope that is reasonably free of self contradictions.
  7. Well many of those were bugged originally and later fixed so thats why you get a surprise codex entry every now and then.
  8. The lack of information is an indication that they do not believe we will be excited and hyped. I have no idea what those house is going to cost and I don't care. For the legacy bank I am bracing myself for disappointment.
  9. When RoTHC launched all the previous types of end-game currency were rolled into classic coms. If handled similar this time around, all your tokens will be merged and used for buying 180 gear. Ultimates will convert at a higher rate than elites.
  10. hmm thats not how it works. you kill 50+ goons, guards and whatever else and then you beat Mr-I-have-a-name. He spits defiantly at you. THEN if you cut his head off you get darkside point. If you turn him over to the gentle care of SIS you get light side points. Imagine that - and you don't even have to help clean the place up.
  11. You would think that bioware eventually caves in and makes the emperor palpatine robes. But then again they made the iconic jedi suit based on luke skywalkers outfit in Return of the Jedi. Except, of course, y'know... not black. Amazing really.
  12. I think an option to turn it off makes a lot of sense. It does interfere a lot with the flow of the game. F.ex. you earn less gold and gather less mats than you are 'supposed' to. I took advantage of it by skipping all non-story content on Hoth with my Juggernaut but people with 10 level 50s need to TRY and see this from the perspective of a new player or just someone for which this speed levelling is intrusive. Picking the weekends makes it hard to work around for a lot of people. I am quite honestly surprised why people would flame a perfectly valid opinion.
  13. Yes the ship just appear in your hangar on fleet. It doesn't matter that you didn't fly it back.
