  1. While browsing information on the Sith Inquisitor, I came across a post that said that the Sith Inquisitor storyline was actually different in the beta version. According to the poster, at the end of Chapter 2 Now I haven't been able to find anything more about this and I'm curious if it's true or not. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
  2. Surely the devs wouldn't miss something like that.. *looks again* Oh crap
  3. That's what I thought initially, unfortunately when I took my ship up to 88 parsecs an hour nothing happened.
  4. So every class has a symbol associated with it. Gunslinger gets a pair of pistols, Powertech gets a flame, etc. So I just chose Vanguard and I cannot figure out what that symbol's supposed to be. It's some sort of Y-shape... Does anyone have an idea?
  5. So Scoundrel is better at healing? Is the Commando any good at it?
  6. Hey everyone! I've been wanting to make a healing focused character but I'm torn between the Commando and Scoundrel. Obviously I'm curious which is the better healer but I'd also like to know which people think are more versatile, fun to play, better story, etc. So, what are your thoughts?
  7. One class I've been condisdering is the non-Jedi, non-Sith force users. On the Republic side you could have the Rogue Jedi, someone who learned to wield the Force away from Jedi Order. Maybe they were too remote and the Jedi Order missed them. Maybe they stayed away, didn't want to give up their home and loved ones. Maybe they were part of the Jedi Order at one point and left for one reason or another(you meet a number of NPC's like this already so it does happen). On the Sith side you could have Sith Apostate, someone who was trained in methods not practiced by the traditional Sith. They could have been the apprentice of some renegade dark jedi who refused to follow the Emperor. Maybe they received their training from an ambitious Moff who wanted their own Force-sensitive agent. The class's skills and equipment could reflect their non-traditional training. They could use a lightsaber as their main weapon and as a subweapon use something like a scattergun or a vibroknife. They could Force-pull enemies towards them and then blast them with the scattergun, or maybe charge their vibroknife with Force-lightning, throw it at their enemy, and then pull it back. Character-wise they could be similar to Mara Jade or even the Jedi Exile.
  8. I second this! I also couldn't help but think that As for the Smuggler, I would gladly trade any one of my companions for Nariel Pridence. It's a bit sad that, despite only appearing on one planet's storyline, I found her to be more compelling and likeable than most of smuggler's actual companions. Finally for the Imperial Agent, I'd like to be able to recruit Mia Hawkins. The Imperial Agent really needed a light-side companion earlier, and at least in the light-side path they really played up her growing feelings for the Agent. It would be nice to see that fulfilled.
  9. I've been wondering, as the game continues to grow and expanions could be released, if Bioware might try to create new character classes. Now this might be a bit harder than other other mmo's due to the strong story aspect of each class. Still I couldn't help but think about what new classes might be created and I decided to bring this question to the forums. So, what classes to do you think/want Bioware to introduce in future additions to this game? What form would they take in each faction(Republic vs Sith)? What would their abilities be? What would their storyline look like?
  10. Personally, I like to think my smuggler took all the credits he made, put them together in a large pile, and swims in them like a Star Wars version of Scrooge McDuck. It's not like the game gives me anything better.
  11. So I just completed Chapter 1 of smuggler's storyline and I'm a bit confused. Did I miss something? Is my smuggler wealthy now? If so, what is he doing with the money? Did he lose it? Was the fortune not as big as was initially described? Don't get me wrong I like the direction the story is taking and I can see the narrative value of the last chapter, it just seems that the resolution was a bit abrupt and didn't seem to leave much impact.
  12. Yeah, if this change occured at all it would be probably be in expansions and even then it would very difficult to design/ implement. To answer my own question I could see my Imperial Agent defecting. He's firmly on the light-side and doesn't care much many of his superiors' methods. If he was convinced that taking down the Sith would help the Empire's citizens in the long run, he'd do it. Now would he become a member of SIS or become an independent agent (ie. smuggler)?
  13. I realize that the ability the switch sides from Republic to Empire or vice versa is something that will almost certainly never happen, and I can understand why. Still I can't help but wonder what would happen if that option existed. So my question is if your character was given the option to defect would he or she take it and why?
  14. Thanks to both of you. The story is one of my favorite aspects of this game so it was frustrating that it seemed like it suddenly skipped a page. I still wonder though, did any of the jedi classes deal with this plot thread? Force-sensitive rakghouls seems like a natural fit for either or both jedi stories.
  15. I guess it's good to know they at least tried to explain it. However it's still very disconcerting how none of the characters even mention it again.
