  1. #1) Add a PVE environment that pits players against a team of AI players or training room that guilds can host that allows new players to learn the basics, maps, and tactics of GSF before being thrown into the deep end of the pool. I would like to play GSF but I am lost and have NO IDEA what I am doing and I do not think it is fair for to my teammates to be handy capped by my incompetence. I don't care if the PVE doesn't give conquest points I just want to feel comfortable before I start playing against the more experienced PVP GSF pilots. World Of Warships has this exact thing and it allows players the ability to practice on AI before PVP'ing. #2) Add support for Flight Stick, HOTAS, and rudder pedals. I have a Thrustmaster Cougar and rudder peddles and if I could mad the abilities and controls to it I would play GSF all the time. I have no idea why the incredibly shortsighted decision to only allow keyboard and mouse controls was made but it was the worst possible decisions and a huge portion of the potential player base simply ignored GSF because of this terrible business decision. A few small changes to GSF will make it much more popular and may even attract new players. Thank you
  2. It is less about a holy book and more about science. There are two biological genders male and female period. If you think you are something you are not it is called a delusion. If I went around saying I identified as a T-Rex and people should address me as Tyrant Lizard King or I will get offended and call you a Dinophope, people would simply think I am crazy. I personally don't care how someone wants to identify but they have NO RIGHT to expect me to go along with their mental delusions just so I don't offend them.
  3. Can you please allow drop down windows so the players can pick which planets they want to go through instead of having to hit it and rejecting unwanted worlds time after time after time to get the planet they want. Whomever though that making it random did not really think that decision through. Stop trying to tell the players how to consume the game and let the players decide how to consume the game. This is basic marketing 101 and should not have to be explained.
  4. How anyone could come up with the idea of having a space starfighter game and not include Stick/HOTAS/Rudder Peddle is so stupid it is beyond comprehension. Bioware/EA seems to want to dumb everything down to the lowest common denominator and create products that are hot garbage. If you wan't Galactic Starfighter to succeed implement STICK/HOTAS/RUDDER support ASAP. Also include Track IR support. Next how about implementing a HUD that ACTUALLY TELLS YOU SOMETHING. The fact that there is no speed indicator or any useful information on the HUD is face palm worthy. If you catered to SPACE SIM and FLIGHT SIM enthusiasts, you would have a customer base of people that only played GSF. I know you are going to have some crybabies out there who say whaaa whaaa whaaa it is not fair, I do not have a Stick/HOTAS combo. Well Boo Freaking Hoo. Casual gamers are not who you should be marketing to, they get bored easily and move on to the next shiny toy that comes out. X-Wing VS Tie Fighter was a huge success, it had a huge community that played it for YEARS. If GSF was revamped into a proper sim it would attract players. GSF is so bad and not fun to play, I will enter a match and just fly around and shoot at random things. I do not bother with trying to win, play the objectives, nothing. I am only there for the daily rewards and CXP points to level my toons. If it were actually fun to play I would invest serious time into learning the game.
  5. So in effect you are taking away ANY incentive to play with other people? You are taking away ANY incentive to do operations. This game is quickly changing from a MMO to a solo player game everyone pays for the privilege to play!
  6. #1 Enable Joystick/HOTAS/Rudder Peddle/Track IR support. As is the control scheme for galactic Starfighter is probably the worst decision in gaming history. Seriously whomever came up with that idea should be fired immediately because he or she has no clue as to what gamers want. People play games like Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen, DCS series, Falcon BMS, Flight Simulator, ETC because people want FLIGHT SIMULATORS. I already know what your argument is going to be.......but Belthorian not everyone owns a joystick! My answer is simple THIS IS THE PC GAMING COMMUNITY, anyone who plays a flight simulator has MULTIPLE joysticks, By not having joystick/HOTAS/Rudder Peddle/Track IR support you automatically alienated 90% of your target market. #2 Enable cockpit view. Playing a game where your flying aircraft from a third person point of view does the exact same thing as no joystick support. It removes the immersion factor. Look at any great flight sim in the history of gaming and your not going to find any timeless classic that are third person. #3 Offer varying levels of difficulty including a hard core sim mode. Look at the greatest combat flight sim game ever made Microproses Falcon 5. Originally released in 1998 Falcon 5 has survived the demise of it's company and has been kept alive by an enthusiastic community for 17 YEARS. The community has continuously updated the game to take advantage of new hardware and technology. It is still the most realistic flight simulator ever made. Flight simmers are the most fanatically loyal gamers if they find a great product they will play that product for YEARS. That should be your target market, not the casual player who goes after whatever new shiny object is dangled in front of their face. If Galactic Starfighter was a high fidelity space combat sim you would attract a large core of flight combat sim players who would play it for years. #4 Offer PVP AND PVE events in Galactic Starfighter. While PVP is fun things like lag and the general repetitive nature get old quickly. A PVE Galactic Starfighter campaign would be awesome. A storyline from a pilots perspective, involving capital ships, escort, strike missions, fighter sweeps, recon. Just having PVP eliminated a huge percentage of the potential player base. While the concept of PVP is great the reality is often something different. Nobody likes the in game harassment and trash talking they are often subjected to. Even when you do well you are often targeted for harassment. People get mad that they got killed and send all sorts of nasty comments to the person who killed them. In closing the decision to roll out Galactic Starfighters as it currently is was possibly the worst decision in gaming history. Fix it by making it a space combat sim with joystick/HOTAS/rudder peddle/Track IR support, there is already an excellent model to base it off of, the GREATEST space combat sim ever made X-wing VS Tie Fighter. If someone is crying because they don't have a joystick.....GOOD those are not the people you want to cater to. Flight/Combat sim players are your target market. It will provide you with a whole new player base, many of which will subscribe just to play Galactic Starfighter. Even the free to play flight sim crowd will still buy stuff from the cash shop in the form of micro transactions.
