  1. Star Wars: The Old Republic is in its 10th year, and it makes me incredibly happy to see it still providing an out-of-movie experience for Star Wars fans. I've been playing on/off since launch (I play a lot of MMOs so I bounce between them like Revan bounces between light/dark). That said, I'd like for the game to continue providing that experience for many more years to come. So I've come up with a few things as a wishlist of features that I hope will help achieve that and the community will enjoy. Mouse Look Not sure about the rest of the community, but for me, having a native mouse-look option would be absolutely stellar - because holding down right click can be quite cumbersome, especially for those with hands that don't work as well as they used to. There are various third party applications out there like SWTOR Mouse Droid that do the trick, but mouse look being integrated as part of the game controls would help for accessibility. It could either be a hotkey to toggle, or a permanent mode that's enabled with hotkeys like F for interact (for quests and such). DX11/12/Vulkan Support It would be nice to see an updated graphics API make its way to SWTOR. This is more of a performance related request. While SWTOR performs pretty decently, it could be optimised for newer PCs without users having to install extra libraries or applications like Process Lasso to help with stuttering etc. 64-Bit Client Another performance related wishlist item. As I understand it, the game still runs on a 32-bit client which doesn't help in busy areas like fleet social zones and such. Updating the game to 64-bit would be a momentous task, but one that would help carry SWTOR into the years ahead. Photomode The SWTOR community is filled with a number of talented artists, and there's a lot of players who take pride in their characters that they've created. I think having a photomode would be of great benefit to this, because it would allow everyone in the game to create fantastic screenshots of their characters - which could in turn drive community engagement via screenshot competitions etc.
  2. Yeah, I'm trying to log in now at 9.44am Australian Central time and getting the same thing.
  3. Not a fan of sliding in the DMs of community managers - they have enough to deal with hah. Man, that's a throwback...
  4. HI forum, Hope you're all doing well and staying safe with everything going on in these crazy times. I just wanted to get some clarification around creating content for Star Wars: The Old Republic, and what we can/can't do while creating videos or broadcasting/livestreaming the game. For some context, I'm primarily a livestreamer on YouTube where the content ID system is an absolute party and a half to deal with. I've streamed on Twitch for the last four or five years, while they take copyright infringement seriously, there are some exceptions and concessions granted under various circumstances (example: Killing Floor 2's soundtrack can be played within the game, as long as KF2 is being streamed). What I'm after is a some proven, verifiable/confirmed "can do" and "cannot" things around streaming/creating videos for SWTOR - just so I know what to avoid and what is safe etc. If other experienced content creators could chime in, that'd be great. Or even a community manager/dev would be great to get some clarification from. Cheers!
