It is difficult to click on quick travel points that are buried behind other map icons. The quick travel icon should be uppermost layer. Then put on the quest markers or the flight point icon.

The cost of the quick travel should be reasonable. For example I just tried to quick travel from Black Sun Territory to Senate building on Coruscant, 5,000 credits. The cost of taking speeder, 25.
