  1. Looking for more solid Imp raiders looking to push HM Rav. Need not be geared. Being able to use voice server and follow instructions required. Multiple character/roles is a plus. Anyone interested please contact Hal'stadat or Te'ras. Features added to the guild: weekly Top 10 Conquest reward; Fully kitted Guildship with banks, slots, and nodes.
  2. Given that you're coming onto the community forums to try and impose community based market control rather than using free market tactics to retaliate, that statement is ironic. You're not making a Ferrari, whatever you're making is generic, as is almost everything on the GTN. Your product is not differentiated in any discernible way from any other producer's. Barring some sort of social control that gives you an unfair advantage, you're never gonna be able to compete, especially given that you've revealed that you're producing at cost and are at a breaking point. It's very possible that whoever you're competing against can and is producing at a loss in the short term to drive his or her competition out of the market to create a monopoly. You can try to sink to their level and hope your capital reserves are deeper. OR You can try, as many, many other people have suggested to purchase his items or the component materials for reposting. OR You can whisper/mail whoever is posting lower than you like a normal person and try to come to a price fixing agreement based on trust. What's NOT likely to work is lobbying for some community protectionist price control. Best of luck, though, whatever you decide.
  3. What you're talking about is theoretical economics with rational buyers and sellers. An ideal scenario. Reality is filled with uneducated consumers making woefully ignorant decisions. Throw in a completely unregulated market, and what do you expect? I appreciate what you guys are trying to say, but trying to herd the sheeple in a videogame to make economically sound decisions when we have elected officials who's grasp of the concept of debt is tenuous at best and simply wrong at worse is amusing to me. Hence I made what I thought was a humorous post. I apologize if my reply came across as warranting a well composed response when it was meant as comedy.
  4. Whoa, how'd you get x12 EXP to level your alts? They should really make that available to everyone; that really seems like something everyone would be doing... as opposed to... conquest.
  5. AHAHAHAHA <333 Kandel, I just love/hate your connection sometimes. On a serious note, I have yet to see an operative in huttball NOT rubberband, especially Jerry. Great job designing roll bioware!
  6. I noticed the same thing about imps on my pub a couple months ago when I was leveling, and then the same thing about pubs while I was leveling an imp. And then I finished leveling and stopped noticing these so called "population" problems. Funny how that works. This is a huge server, you're gonna win 90% of the lowbie/midbie matches simply by virtue of being paired with free-2-players. People rerolling on The Ebon Hawk to dominate lowbies are a dime a dozen. In a couple months they're gonna hit 55 and either quit the game, get absorbed, or stick around and fade into obscurity. This game does not support players who only PvP. Personally, I haven't faced an <Animus> premade in about 2 weeks (cause, you know, leveling to 55) and if it weren't for these trollbaiting posts, I would have entirely forgotten about them like every other lowbie guild I've seen (and I've seen dozens).
  7. Jumping in late, but I this is a pretty messed up view to take. The impression left is that it's best to stack the odds even more in your favor when you're facing players who are guaranteed to have terrible gear and no concept of how to PvP. I might be confused at what you mean by this, though. Speaking for myself and the people I queue with, <Nemesis> avoids superqueuing unless we're looking to face a superqueue and we're already relatively certain that we'll be matched up with a superqueue, so I don't know what this is about. Superqueues get hate when they wanna talk **** to an opponent that has to carry a jugg with 28k, a sniper with 40k, an RP Mercenary who only call for help from the spawnbox, and a Tanksin that invariably refuses to guard players, nor nodes, but instead feels compelled to repeatedly feed the enemy node guard solo kills. The way to look at Ranked isn't as a proxy for epeen measuring, but as a means for guaranteeing matches with and against competent players. For everything else, Ranked is a joke without cross-server queues and pvp-centric class balance, neither of which seem to be slated for 3.0. Ranked should be about having fun and getting better, and if you're trying to "preserve your record", a Rating of Nothing is worse than whatever Rating you get for 0:10, so you should still do Ranked. That goes for those of you who refuse to queue cause those you play with aren't "good enough" (they'll never be "good enough" stomping fresh 55/pve/rp pugs) and those who refuse to queue without a perfect double madness comp (just look into the crystal ball at the double smash comps to see your future).
  8. It's not sabotage, it's war. If you don't see a problem with an Imperial Strike team murdering Jedi Battlemasters, perhaps the sacking of Coruscant part deux is in order...
  9. My condolences. But were you guys really even taking advantage of the bonus' for controlling it? I didn't see your flagship listed last I checked, nor is the Imperial Commander ever dead on Voss. If I told you someone was attacking the Republic Commander, would you have defended him?
  10. Question: Does Aisthesis still control Voss? It seemed when I was on planets after the patch, they were all saying they are no longer controlled. Does conquest only last 4 days or did the patch cancel control?
  11. <Nemesis> queues ranked when we can and we're not raiding. But we have a policy of trolling PvEers who try to weasel PvP rewards through cheap, non-competitive methods. Did we get some free rewards at their expense? Yes. But, for me, the real reward is the perverse sense of enjoyment I get watching them queue in PvE gear, fail to get a single medal (even a 3k hit), and watch them mass /stuck. I'm not mad at them, I just think they're hilarious. #LaughingAtThemNotWithThem (Az, did I do it right?)
  12. Open world PvP is gonna happen, just accept it. Heckling is a part of it, it's pvp, it's not coming from a place of vitriol, it's just to goad people. Don't act like it doesn't cut both ways. Just as much was coming in the other direction. I don't even have to know who you are, but I can say this with certainty, because everyone we're faced from the pubside during the Balance of Power event has, at some point in past, either accused us of cheating or slammed out a litany of different obscenities at us. Something something , glass houses, something something, throw rocks. (I never did pay much attention in Sunday School)
  13. Another fun night, 150-300 kills on Tatooine going 6-8 vs 10-30 was a lot of fun, props to the two (three?) imp pvp guilds who showed up to pvp (was on pubbies today ^.^) P.S. Also, grats to everyone for getting encryptions. So many people takings shots at the framework, that must have been a really long roll list. Whoever won had to have rolled 100!
  14. Difficult in what way? With the current tier of gear, you only need 1 moderately geared tank and 2 healers to defeat the commander. If you can't defeat 1 NPC that maxes out at 10k strikes before mitigation with upwards of 20 players, then the game should not be rewarding you for "conquering" anything at all. I would love for people who are attacking the base to be able to summon NPCs as well, if it forces them to flag.
