  1. Glad you can prove to us you don't know what a dying game looks like. This ain't it chief. I've lived through maintenance mode.
  2. Problem is it auto claimed for me at some ranks without my consent.
  3. It's also not working for Cartel Coin grants. I needed my 200 coins to purchase something today on reset and didn't receive them.
  4. I make these threads every time I unsub too. I've been playing since release, and I have to inform everyone about it so that it makes my unsubbing that much more dramatic. I'm glad you follow my example. /s
  5. Perhaps learn to structure sentences correctly. I have a hard time keeping up with what you are saying.
  6. Sorry but you have no idea what you are talking about here. Not to be rude but they can't rely on 'updates' from an engine that isn't even a hero engine anymore. A heavily modified version of an engine like Bioware's cannot benefit from updates to the engine. ESO also uses the hero engine and does not have the same issues as SWTOR. Why? Because it's not as heavily modified as SWTOR's.
  7. From a business perspective, if a game doesn't do well for a company, the same company that also makes this game, it reflects poorly on the studio and branches of said studio. Many of SWTOR's devs were pulled off this project to focus on Anthem. While they are certainly back to work for a few months now as Anthem is in post production and ready to ship out. If the game they worked on doesn't do well, funding will be cut on said studio and other studios, thus reflecting less dedication to the game. All in all, the game hasn't been doing well as is and the radio silence from the devs (Getting updates every few months, little to no communication, patches not fixing hot issues) doesn't bode well. I'm not a naysayer so try not to brand me as one here, I've stepped back from the game for a long while and have looked at it from a detached view. If Anthem does poorly, don't expect SWTOR to somehow get a ton of new and exciting content. It just won't happen, the higher ups at EA will most likely cut studio sizes to cut costs and or shut down branches of the studio entirely, remember Bioware has about 2-3? Studios I believe correct me if I'm wrong. If they can't afford to keep the lights on at a studio you can expect there to be consolidation inside a studio and thus people moved around to other projects. Anyway, sorry for long winded answer I'm just trying to look at this realistically.
  8. Just ignore them? Why would you quit over people being trolls? You may not be cut out for the online world.
  9. It would be better if they allowed cross server queueing so that queue times didn't suck for everyone. But they can't do it because of 'technical' difficulties with the engine or whatever the excuse is. It's a shame because I'm going to have to transfer off SS to SF because SS pub side is quite dead.
  10. While I love the idea of this as crowd funding/petitions have made games into some great things. 100 signatures will not wake up EA and make them want to develop more on this game. You have to set your horizons a bit higher otherwise this petition will get lost in the dust.
  11. With the engine in the state it's in. I doubt this is even possible for them to do. Turning off a visual effect might cause the entire game to blow up. Until they dedicate time to fixing up the engine and fixing the desync issues with this game. I'm gonna have to say they ignore this issue.
  12. It seems this patch didn't fix a lot of important issues. Hopefully next week you'll have something better?
  13. I didn't read this fully but I took parts from what you said and I'll add in my own problems with class identity and balance in this game. As you probably said some abilities were given to classes that were not so much 'needed' in a word. A class that has a weakness is a class worth playing. Giving a class an advantage or an ability that defeats its weakness makes it less enjoyable to me. I'll stop being vague and get right to the point. Every class having a CC breaker, charge ability, gap closer etc was the wrong move on Bioware's part. Not every class needed these abilities and it just made balance a whole lot worse for the devs to tackle. You don't throw money at something and hope it works (metaphorically speaking here.) The same can be said for throwing abilities at a class and hoping it will just be better. What Bioware should have done was refine and tune the abilities they currently had to work with and make the classes more distinct than what they are now. Every class has a stun now, every single one. Why? Not every class needs to be able to stun if they already have a slow, or a blind, or some other method of CC. The same can be said with gap closers and cc breakers. Every class has one of these and it's not necessary at all. Cooldowns again, every class has them and this is fine but some classes have more than others and some are completely ridiculous. Mercs/Mandos looking at you with a shield that heals you to full when you are attacked. They both already had a heal that would heal them when they got low on hp. Why not just make this ability better? Instead you added more to the problem. Anyway, I think my point was made and I hope it coincides with what the OP was explaining in a way. I hope Bioware can fix the class problems this game faces in the future.
  14. Had the issue of it not showing Lana as married to me, but also that I lied to her about Valkorion's presence in my mind which is a total lie in itself because I told her the truth. Seems interactions are bugged in general.
