  1. For a baseline, these are some quick parses from 7.1. Other than the level increase and the higher dps from that, I have not noticed any meaningful companion changes. Treek: 8.5k (Still awful) Yuun: 10.2k (tech whirlwind still not ticking second time) D-R3D: 11.1k (tech whirlwind still not ticking second time) Darth Hexid: 11.2k Vette: 11.3k Veeroa: 12k Shae: 14.4k
  2. Recap of 7.0 change: To prevent rezing in an operation fight without using Healer Combat rezes, the devs disabled exiting stealth when using Cloaking Screen in 7.0 inside operations and FPs (only). You can still drop combat in PVP (reg and ranked) or any combat in open world. This caused a number of unintended issues: You no longer generate a tactical advantage from using backstab/Lethal Strike after cloaking in a boss fight. Op healers no longer get 2 tactical advantage from Surprise Surgery when healing again after using Cloak in a boss fight. Op healers can no longer drop agro from trash mobs. (Think transitions in Titan 6 fight) Since trash targets healers and Cloaking Screen drops your agro to 0 but keeps both you and the trash in combat, they will not swap targets until they are actually hit by a teammate. Proposed fix: Apply a 5 minute anti out of combat rez buff after each use of Cloaking Screen. Then revert it to actually drop combat. Anyone have a better solution? I hope that this keeps some visibility to this nerf and that the devs make a correction to it. I don't see people talking about it.
  3. Thanks for the link, this helps me see what I was missing. Yeah, not seeing these numbers in the wild on single target boss fights yet.
  4. What spec are you using? Have you uploaded a parse? I ask because I can do 24k lethality, and I understand another 2k.. but 3k, easily?
  5. Some findings so far: Changes to parsing finally broke Parsec, I'm not sure if I'll be doing detailed parsing going forward because of it. They removed Companions from the Ability tab, so theres no place to see Zoom's extra heal anymore for example. It's still there though and working. I have not noticed any big differences in companions yet. No fixes or nerfs that I know of. Zoom is still good. Treek got my friend killed repeatedly, I'm like "Dude, do you even watch my videos?" hah As Durhon said. The new companion seems to have normal skill set, so it'd be like any other 2 blaster user. It's hard to know how the adjusted boolsters will play out until everyone's geared. Low level planets seemed real forgiving, 60+ ones sound challenging. FPs and Ops don't sound very consistent on the damage output so far, but some of that might be gear issues. No more free Jawa Junk, which means companions that took armor maint or fruit may not be as good of "filler" companions as they were.
  6. For companions: Generally all single blaster users are identical in skills and parse results. Generally all sniper rifle users are identical. Generally all 1 vibro sword users are identical. So you can classify them by the type of weapon they use. For force users, there are 2 types of sub classifications along with the weapon type: Generally all 1 saber users that have blue colored skills because they are "light side" are identical. Generally all 1 saber users that have red color skills because they are "dark side" are identical. The only 2 saber user with red skills Veeroa Denz is slightly different than the blue ones (Ashara and Ranos). Hence I list "2 Lightsabers (Lightside)" before that parse result so you can guess if they add another Blue Skilled 2 light saber user, they'll be the same general rating. Maybe I'll use "(Blue Skilled)" in my next cleanup, as people often get confused and think they can change the alignment of a companion or something.
  7. TLDR; He's Number 2 rating on everything. (just intime before xpac)
  8. I had some strange issues with getting her to equip her second pistol after her return, I think it's resolved now though, so she should be fine.
  9. He's listed under assault cannon in video. Rating 9 of 15 (if you count shae). 8677 mid dps. He's not bad at all. It's fun to have a different looking companion, especially on the imp side where you don't see cannons often. Standard, non bugged ranged comp.
  10. If you hover over Veeroa's Finishing Strike, you'll see it says "Instant" up top. If you hover over Master Ranos's Finishing Strike, you'll see "Activation: 0.98s" up top. The difference is super minor, I spent half a night parsing just trying to confirm there was a difference and then what it was. I believe that finishing strike difference is consistent between all light and dark users.
  11. I'll put together some tests soon for Altuur. The 10% damage increase does seem to work, from very quick testing. Its not 100% uptime, so I want to test taskmaster to see if that changes it. His stun is also his AOE, so that's kind of cool/weird/new. I'm live streaming (on youtube) 1-75 speed run while double XP is going on, but once that's done I'll work on his parses/testing video.
