  1. WooHoo PvP changes! Excited to get back in the ring - I've been too annoyed by the systems in place to get back into it for a long while. New changes look super promising. Operation Chocolate Helicopter shall ride again!
  2. Just wanted to note that, as far as I'm concerned, the new direction of the Community Team is the best thing since huttball. I <3 you folks! Thanks for keeping us more in the internal loop and opening the door a bit! It's extremely refreshing and altogether awesomesauce with a side of win. There will be those that cry foul the first time something you share with us is changed or gets a nix before making it to production, but know that we the reasonably minded greatly appreciate this new approach!
  3. Former Chilastran from Launch until NGE/CU era. Member of the Emperor's Hammer, mayor of Sanctum Malleus on the Imperial side .
  4. Heard it here first ,folks, bioware has stealth-suited developers!
  5. I had to go to bed, bah! Blasted job. Sounds like it was a fun time though!
  6. Following this one closely. I'm a bit obsessed with finding a white/silver crystal too... Corran Horn FTW. The only confirmed drop I know of is the Alderaan World Boss. I wish I had kept a copy of the screenshot of the loot table with it on it, but I should clarify that this was in Beta. I've had no 100% proven confirmations of a drop in live.
  7. Comparing two different beasts. That said, SWTOR's single-player-go-through-the-story obviously blows SWG away, but there is pertinear no sandbox element. I played SWG happily until the CU, then I was a very sad person. I went back for the sole purpose of playing JTL every now and again, but the MMO bit was dead to me. SWG pre-CU had many problems - even though I've got the rose glasses of rememberance on I remember that. I don't think the CU/NGE fixed those problems, though. It tried to force mechanics onto the Galaxies engine that just didn't work, making the game even less fun. SWG was never made for "WoW-Like" combat and it didn't play well with a similar system bolted on. SOE lost sight of what they were trying to make and fixed the wrong problems IMHO. </soapbox> All of that said, I think if you enjoyed SWG for the star-wars feel, you will be pleased with SWTOR. I miss being able to play as a Wookiee and decorate my own house out on the sands of Naboo, or build a FRICKIN CITY for my Guild, but SWTOR is not here for that. Bolting those systems onto SWTOR would feel as clunky as the SWG CU.
  8. Thanks for posting this up! Been looking for more info on vendor. Hopefully we'll get some more CE boxes in peoples hands for armor from different classes
  9. Beating as advertised for a smooth game launch free of server crashes, lag, or fifteen people going for the same womp rat. We go live on the 20th, sir, please prepare your complaints for that day of joyous occasion! Oh how beautiful the sights shall be when the Stephen Reid slays the Jabberwocky. I might even dance.
  10. Different stores. The Security Vendor is on the edge of the central ring of the Fleet, nestled between two hangar doors. The CE Vendor is in the VIP lounge at the center of the Fleet (up the elevators) Thanks!
  11. Still no RDD here . And I was one of the folks that had it before changing an order detail and losing it. They've still got some time, hopefully it changes back!
