  1. I still think using crafting materials as a turn-in quest item isn't a good choice. It causes the price to go up to large amounts and effects not only the people wanting to do this quest but also crafters.
  2. For my Smuggler I'd have to either go with Molly Hatchet - Flirtin' With Disaster or with a few lyric changes to match the space theme. I feel they match with how I play my Smuggler. The cunning, charming rogue looking for trouble.
  3. I do agree that some things are way overpriced. A single set of armor shouldn't be ~$20 worth of coins even if you get it with subscription grants.
  4. I've logged on to old characters before and found myself as the Guildmaster to a dead guild.
  5. Do soem people not read posts? OP clearly said there was a group agreement to distribute loot at the end. To say the thief had every right to take the loot due to being master looter is a crappy thing to say. Whether it was master looter, FFA, need/greed, it doesn't matter. There was an agreement. Nothing they can really do but OP has a right to be upset. It's a crappy thing that person did stealing all the loot.
  6. Unique quests are fine, but not ones like this. They shouldn't require you to spend lots of money, swap out crew skills, or log onto alts with the required skills/items.
  7. I'm not saying there are no ways I can complete this quest. There are. That being said, to me it is obvious this quest breaks the mold that every other quest is based on in this game. No other quest has an advantaged based on crew skill, may require you spend a large amount of credits, may require you change your high/max level skill just for this one thing, or may require you to use alts. If you choose to do none of those things, you only other choices are to grind the WB on Alderaan and run the Operation, perhaps more than once since the drop is not guaranteed to be in the loot. Yes, this quest is doable. The means to do it go against the rest of the game.
  8. What items? People keep saying items but never says what they are. I checked Dulfy. It says the only other two items Lokin accepts are drops from an Operation and a WB. The Operation one is only accepted once.
  9. So my opinion is just ******** then, eh? Honestly, I don't care if a quest takes time. It's the fact that to complete this quest I need to do specific things that no other quest in the entire freaking game requires.
  10. It's at least a little unfair for a few reasons. For one Agents can completely skip this part of his recruitment. Makes sense, he's an Agent companion after all and the others automatically join their respective original commander too. Not really unfair but still sucks if you aren't Agent. Second, though, I do think is unfair in having to have a specific crafting skill (or an alt that does) that'd either high enough level to go to the planets and gather from the nodes, or high enough in skill to send companions on the missions in order to do this without spending a lot of money or having to do a very long and tedious grind.
  11. I was responding to the person who misread my other post. I meant you can gather all resource nodes now regardless of craft skill level, but you can't exactly bring a level 23 to planet with grade 8 resources.
  12. That'd be good advice if I wasn't letting my sub on Sunday. :/ Still, it doesn't excuse the fact that it is an unfair and bad quest design.
  13. Yes, but you can't get grade 8 mats with a level 23 character. All the mats Lokin wants are grade 8.
  14. The problem now, though, is that because the event is up and you can only get Lokin during the event, the cost of the materials has skyrocketed because more people are doing the quest. Just for a stack of the one Lokin needs 24 of per influence gain is over 200k each right now last I saw. You need 800 of them. That's at least 1.8 million credits, probably more. And odds are it'll go up some more due to the higher demand. Biochem players, especially biochem Agents, are going to make a killing off this.
