  1. No ****! Of course it named "Superweapon Control." Do you know what ELSE is located in that area, besides the entrance to the op? The THRONE, a.k.a the actual superweapon controls, on which you sit at the end of the storyline to shut it down before it obliterates all life on planet. That is the superweapon. The giant robots are just some other weapons. Maybe meant to be its guards or support or whatever. And they were the ones tested on Zakuul.
  2. No they are not. Superweapon everyone was fighting off was the thing that wiped all life on Iokath, that throne thingy. that Acina/Malcolm tried to repair and got killed by it instead. And for the love of god, stop trying to compare GFTM to Dread Masters. When you finish Dread Palace you get a story cutscene, dialogs, and choice. When you kill Izax you get nothing. The modules are never references in story, cant be used outside Iokath and only useful for PvP achievements. Surely we can't considre those as part of story... Alliance Specialists do nothing outside the Star Fortresses. And strength of the Alliance ends up irrelevant too - you get the same events with specialists at rank 1 and rank 20
  3. Errr, no. First of all, Order of Zildrog rises because one brain-dead fanatic from Horizon Guard (a.k.a. Vaylin elite guard) couldn't let go of the past and enlisted some like-minded people and also a couple of NPC who were pissed at PC for various reasons. Star fortress are not relevant at all. Literally the only thing they change is autocompletion of a bonus mission in one chapter. Omg, how important. Machine Gods are not important either, there is never any follow up after you talk to Scions and receive the quest. Zildrog is important since he obliterates the Fleet, but has nothing to do with Iokath or Scions. Dread Masters are a completely separate story told via ops and daily zones and to compare that to uprisings is an insult to the storyline.
  4. It has nothing to do with your companions. Master Mode uprisings are one of the more difficult types of content in this game, on par or even more then Master Mode Flashpoints. They are not meant to be 2-manned with 2 comps, but rather with 4 real players, and not just 4 random dpsers, but the tank-healer-dps combo. If you insist on 2-maning. maybe try Veteran Uprisings first, before going to Master Mode, see if you can do it. Unfortunately with the current gearing system only final boss of Uprising drops loot, which makes them not particularly popular compared to FP. Also Uprisings are completely irrelevant to the main story itself, so you can ignore them and won't lose anything.
  5. In the ideal world, maybe. In ours? When it will become obvious that their team is losing, people will just hide in stealth or go chill at one node their team still has.
  6. I am sorry, what? Kill stealing inside FP and ops? How does that even work?
  7. Check your firewall (either your Windows one, or the one your antivirus has, depending what you use). Make sure swtor.exe allowed to connect and be connected to.
  8. It's called "gameplay and story segregation" Your Master is part of story, your skills are part of gameplay (with the exception of Force Choke, Force Push and Force Lightning that occasionally show up in dialogs and cutscenes and Force Persuade that never shows outside of them)
  9. Either get some like-minded friends and do FP the way you like together, or accept the fact that yes, you are beholden to whatever the majority of the group decides to do. They have just as much right to play FP their way as you have to play it your way.
  10. For the record, I dont care about completing WZ quests personally, but I find your statement extremely hard to believe. What's the new condition for weekly? 10 victories, right? So you mean to tell me you won 20 wz and didnt find that hard? This raises a bunch of questions. What server do you play on? What time? Do you play alone or in group? Call me pessimist if you want, but I dont think you can just go and win 20 wz and say it was not hard...
  11. This question makes me wonder if you are a new player or something. The skipping tradition comes from the fact that people did all FP in this game around 1000 times and know it by heart. They didnt come here to repeat it for 1001 time just for the fun of it. They came for results, a.k.a drops and rewards and they want to do it as fast as possible. The trash mobs do not offer any rewards that are worth wasting time to kill them. P.S. Maelstorm Prison you say? I dont do that very often, but there are no trash skips in this fp, AFAIK.
  12. Maybe you should have checked the link before you replied, because if you did then you would know that it actually leads to Darth Malgus server discord, which uses English. Лол.
  13. I wonder if having to win Huttball in order to progress their daily/weekly quest, will make more players care about where the ball is at all times. I will have to test it at some point. Too bad they removed Queshball, it was the only Huttball where you had to go really out of your way to pick it up.
