A galaxy far far away...probably in my XS Freighter
  1. This is one of the funniest bugs I have seen in a while. I also had it pop up during my recent bounty hunter play through. First, Mako showed up with a vibrosword and then everyone decided to hunt on Dromund Kaas with swords Needless to say, I laughed at this pretty hard.
  2. Agent, always agent, for me. Followed very closely by Smuggler, Sith Inquisitor and LS Sith Warrior.
  3. I find the somewhat lack of Andronikos disturbing. Andronikos is hands down my favorite in the game. I absolutely love the mutual respect type dynamic that goes on between the SI and the Pirate. They are a team rather than just another romance, that involves the NPC falling all over themselves for the character. Sophena and Andronikos Followed by Theron.. I can't really say much about the Theron romance since we don't really have much to go on. I will say, the interaction between Theron and my Agent is one of my favorites. Melena and Theron Also, Torian. Again, mutual respect and I just love the dynamic. Plus it's such a cute and sweet romance! Ketana and Torian Honorable mention to Lt. Pierce! I don't care if he isn't an official one. He and my SW are together, darn it.
  4. I, too, was expecting something a bit more than what we got. It felt so awkward and very out of place. Like the writers said, "hey let's just throw this in because, reasons." I also wonder if this has something to do with the Nico (unable to summon him, send him on missions) bug I keep hearing about.
  5. You mean Theron Shan? My adoration for him began looooong before he was introduced into the game. Thanks to Annihilation and The Lost Suns (comics) I fell for the character. He was resourceful, cunning, extremely clever, highly intelligent, and did what was needed to get the job done. I mean, for pete's sake, he helped take down the Ascendant Spear, killed Darth Karrid, and Darth Mekhis. He is the equivalent of Cipher Nine. He cares deeply about the very few people he feels he can trust. Such as Master Zho (who raised him when Satele abandoned him) and Tiff'ith (where is she?!) THIS is why I love his character. Not simply because a highly attractive character popped up in the game. Who has a voice that can make me go weak at the knees. I hope since his writers (Alexander Freed & Drew Karpyshyn) are writing for KotFe. I am hoping we see Theron become a bit more like his literary counter part.
  6. While I certainly appreciate you informing us ahead of time, Eric. This is incredibly disappointing for someone who mains a Smuggler. One of the things I really enjoyed during the smuggler story was the crew. I adore each one of them, and with Bowdaar once again delayed. I have zero interest, or need, to play KotFE on a main toon. Smugglers are the only class who have yet to see a returning companion. By the time Chapter 11 launches, each of the classes will have encountered at least one former companion. Three for Agent (my Imperial main) and Trooper which the story thus far feels geared toward anyway. Add to the fact we are not getting new Alliance alerts I find myself asking....what am I paying for? Other than story, that one of my characters doesn't even feel part of, and keeping the servers running? I am hoping against hope that we will have an alert somewhere for Guss. Otherwise, I may have no other choice but to unsub.
  7. I watch Snave, so I can have somewhat of an idea (as an Operative) on what to do in PvP. Of course, this would mean I actually log into the game to try PvP. I'll get there one day, soon™
  8. I asked this very question on Twitter. Alexander Freed, the genius behind the Agent story provided this answer.
  9. I agree with a lot of what you said, OP. Despite that, I'm going to play a bit of devil's advocate here for a minute. Story....yes, the choices suck right now. It's hard to see how anything we have chosen matters. However, we still have 6 or 7 chapters to go, I think. With this, we don't know if they will matter down the line or not. If we were finish with KotFE and every single choice (DS/LS/Whatever) lead to the same conclusion, I would be carrying a torch and providing pitchforks to all. I'm interested to see where it all leads, though. Old Companions....I refuse to play a number of my characters (my bounty hunter specifically) because I don't see where the companions are coming back, yet. Now, if/when they pop up I'll start to level her again. My concern, with pre-kotfe romance companions, is getting the kotor style cutscene where it's one sided VO. Which will really make me mad despite having only one character romanced to a pre-kotfe LI. Class Story....yes, all of this, YES! I do miss that flavor in the story. Despite subtle hints about my class such as...(kotfe spoiler ahead read at own risk) I do want to see more class flare come back. I know we will never, ever (unless a miracle happens) have class story again. I just wish many of the loose ends would be tied up or acknowledged such as.... Now, as for community, this place is a bit much at time. However, our community isn't just based on these forums. There is a wonderful community on Twitter, SWTOR Family, that is better than anything you will find on here. Yes, we bicker and fight sometimes. Yes, we rage when something happens that we don't like. Still, once the dust settles, we go back to having fun, sharing screenshots, outfits, and are generally supportive of each other. So, to say the SWTOR community is horrible isn't exactly correct. You just need to look outside of the forums.
  10. SWTOR 2 is in early development, and will be on Frostbite engine.
  11. In my opinion, the Emperor hasn't really controlled us yet. He has appeared to us, and given us the choice. If he was in control, we would have used his power regardless of our choice. Furthermore, the current situation is a bit different than our class story.... I'm not sure about taking full control, yet. I do believe this is where "choice matters" comes into play. Kneel, and or, use the power then he eventually takes over. Defy and refuse to use the power, he doesn't take over.
  12. I actually agree, kind of. Tank and DPS are perfectly fine. I testing, again, last night on my baby assassin. After shoving a few gifts at Khem, to raise influence, we were able to run all of the planetary heroics without a problem. Tank, our health didn't drop below 85%. DPS, our health didn't drop below 75%. Those are fine. Healing is a completely different story. It only took two elites to take us down within sixty seconds because Khem couldn't keep up. Tried this as well on my main characters. Tank and DPS were fine. Healing, we were down within a minute. Again, because the spy, and Scorpio couldn't keep up. Healing needs to be buffed. It doesn't need to be buffed to 4.0 levels, but yes, it needs a buff.
  13. On my main, I was grinding out Alliance reputation on a daily basis. Now, not so much, so I have started a baby assassin that I am in love with. I really wish I tried the AC before. Also, I'm on a Dragon Age (starting with Origins and playing each game in order) binge as well to fill a bit of time.
  14. For my Scoundrel, Assassin, and Operative I bloody LOVE combat in this game. Of course, I am a stealth class player in all of my games anyway. I love that I can stealth around what I don't want to fight. Plus, that when I do go into combat I can stab, zap, and punch the bad guys to death. Tis glorious! What I don't find enjoyable is the now boring, endless, grind to collect a pretty box for Alliance reputation. For the first time, since 4.0 launched, last night I logged out before finishing heroics on a planet.
