  1. Oh! It was the Tattooine Bonus Series I looked at as my bad example. But the issue still stands at least for me as it's a little more messed up this week than usual... SOLO Missions areas are Balmorra, Belsavis, Nar Shaddaa and Voss with Daily areas CZ-198, Makeb, Ziost and Onderon. But Conquest has: Ossus (missing), Makeb (present), Alderaan (missing), Balmorra (present), Belsavis (present), Corellia (missing), CZ-198 (present), Dantoine (missing), Dromund Kass (missing), Hoth (missing), Ilum (missing), Korriban (missing), Nar Shadaa (present), Taris (missing), Tatooine (missing), Black Hole (missing), Voss (missing), I will grant that not all of them state to do the "weekly" specifically. So it's even more misleading than the prior weeks. You can go to the fleet and grab them up, but you used to be able to use the SOLO window to travel to the planet and grab them all off the term (esp handy when your mission log filled up on the fleet). At this point, why don't they just put all the planet options back into the SOLO window?
  2. I didn't see a recent post on this. But it looks like the Daily areas didn't shift with the conquest again. Example: Tat weekly is in the conquest but still showing last week's Daily areas (Balmorra, etc) in the SOLO window.
  3. If you're still looking, "My Bad" is recruiting. We're a laid back and goofy group of players. Nightly events at 7 PM Central. No requirement to join. Friday night Scavenger hunt and opportunity to win millions of credits. And we do large conquest planets and have the customary XP, REP, and RXP bonuses. If interested, when you're on the imperial side do /cjoin MyBad and ask for invite (anyone in guild can invite). Or hit me up - I'm usually on one of these these days: Manda Mandalynn Mandalalala Mandallah
  4. LOL I didn't mean it as - we're getting old and feeble. Just that I can't devote my life to gaming anymore. But my hands are cramping and slowing down too. Just reality.
  5. Preface: Will I keep playing? Likely, as I've been subbed since the start and there's no other MMOs that strike my fancy. I'm also willing to give it a shot since the changes have only been live 1 week. There's going to be bumps. However, I used to be able to grind 24/7 and raid nightmare. I don't have the time and patience (nor should my health) to do that. So I'd place myself in the "casual" box for the last four years. And up until 7.0, SWTOR was a great game to still play casually. But now it's got some glaring issues I would like to try to lay out with some explanations in the hopes these things will be heard and changed. Problems/Explanations 1. Daily/Weekly Quests that require multiple runs now reset on a timer Daily/Weekly in your mission log. Why is this a problem for casual gamer?: Example: I had 2/3 Flashpoints with GF. I HAD to do a third late into last night or my quest would reset Tuesday. So I had to stay with a bad team doing the new flashpoint bashing my head on my desk late into the night. I could have left and re-queued except that I'd already had three flashpoint groups where people abandoned ship because... 2. Limited FPs in the Group Finder. Why is this a problem for the casual gamer? There are flashpoints that are much longer and harder than others. And players will abandon ship as soon as they see the flashpoint quest pop up. 3. Limited Dailys with Purpose. Why is this a problem for the casual gamer? No longer can you pick up and go to any daily you want in the SOLO window. You have to do the ones chosen (at least if you want it to be worth your time). Which includes hard ones that are going to take you more time and effort. As a casual gamer - I want to get in and get out while having fun. Let me pick what I want to do. 4. Requiring Wins in PVP matches to progress Daily/Weekly Why is this a problem for the casual gamer? RNG factor - you now have to have a premade to make your time worthwhile, or hope to the gaming Gods that your team knows what they're doing. Example 1: I joined 3 PVP matches in flight to a losing side that people had abandoned. Those 3 matches are worthless to me. I didn't abandon ship because that's not the player I am. But I quit playing PVP altogether this week. And likely won't play again until this changes. 5. Limiting player level to Flashpoints at all. - this one I only have hearsay knowledge on. Why is this a problem for the casual gamer? While I haven't tried this myself because I wasn't planning to level another toon ( and now I def won't), by cutting off FPs to 50+, you've neutered your population and a big part of content, and are choosing for the player how they level. Example: I brought in three new players in the last year. Real Life friends who I talked into playing with me. We've been doing flashpoints as low level toons while they learn to play. We can't do that anymore. 6. Limiting Ops with Rewards - Why is this a problem for the casual gamer? Again, forcing players to choose which Ops you want them to play this week. Not giving them the option. Example: Multiple times this week, I heard "let's run KP" or "DP". Only to find out that they don't even have a weekly pick up quest from the Ops terminal anymore (not Group Finder - which is also questionable). Coupled with the Gear grind issue below, it effectively makes running any op outside of that list not worth the time and effort. Again, forcing people how to play vs choosing. 7. The Mat Grind Yes, there is an argument for grinding in MMOs. I played EQ back in the day. I know grinding. But it usually has some stability across the board. Meaning - it's not just the gear. You can hit level 80 in a snap, no problem (literally with each new quest giving you 3 mil - HALF a level 75+ per turn in). But you're going to beat your head on the wall trying to get enough mats to upgrade your gear in the limited ways mentioned above. I wouldn't have as big a problem with this IF the items mentioned above were fixed and you allowed players to truly decide how THEY want to play. 8. Replayability is lost. Why is this a problem for the casual gamer? I deleted 6 toons this week. Not simply because I can double up on any one of them now. But because it is mentally taxing to think about doing anything with them. I'd have to do the same chosen weekly quests to be worth my time. And the same content over and over was already getting stale before you limited it to what's worth while for the week. At this point, I'd like to re-emphasize that I am NOT leaving SWTOR. I understand that new changes take time and tweaks. But I'm hoping that you can see some sense in what I'm saying here that SWTOR is not a game I'd recommend anymore to anyone unless they told me "I'm looking for a game I can really sit down and grind". Which... i've never heard anyone say. Hoping for the best. And thank-you for your time.
  6. I'm not sure if these are bugs or "features" but they are game limiting (not mentioned in the patch notes): 1. Cannot harvest in Operations or Flashpoints. 2. Cannot send out companions on crew skill missions or crafting in Operations or Flashpoints. 3. Cannot send out companions on crew skill or for crafting when in story when being forced to use a specific character. Current example: on Ossus with Anri on imperial side. I can open the abilities list, but there are no companions available in the drop down lists. If this is intentional, please revert back. Crafting and harvesting are fun down-time things to do and this limits gameplay functionality. Esp for those who like crafting.
  7. That is still an eye strain. I literally get a migraine looking at the high contrast. It either needs to be toned down, or an option needs to be given to change it.
  8. Adding in a plead to change the inventory window. It literally is Migraine inducing for me. At least give us an option to change the color if you really want to keep the individual box outlines.
  9. We have a group of 4 who have been playing together leveling up. Our knowledge ranges from extensive to brand new. We'd like to get into ops runs, but are in need of people who are open to new players learning and not super hardcore. We mostly play Wednesday evenings around 7 central. Most active in the winter. If you have room and patience for us, please let me know!
  10. Heya! What days/times do your teams raid? I've got a wide range of toons (usually end up healing or tanking, but have dps toons as well) and knowledge up to Iokath. But I'm trying also balance play time and life. So I can't commit to every day of the week for hours on end.
  11. Do you have particular days you're looking to raid? I'm a returning player with prior raid experience (toons of all types - but I usually end up tanking or healing). But I"m going to be mostly available Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  12. OMG! Thank-you thank-you! I reported this on support and all I got was "To play Knights of the Eternal Empire you have to be subbed". Not what I asked. >.<
  13. Been playing pub side for the last few months after a year break (played from open beta prior). But, I'm looking to possibly move back to imperial side after I finish my trooper legacy unlock (later this week). Ops experience up to Oricon. Comfortable in all roles (healer being my favored role). Bit of an alt-a-holic... most of the toons are named Manda____ if you look for me in game. Ops/Activity Available times: Tues, Thurs and Fri 6PM-10PM (central) with flexibility (may have to rotate third shift work with new job position) Toons: Imps (working on all to 65 after trooper): 55 Operative (Healer) 62 Marauder (DPS) 55 Assassin (Tank) 55 Sorc (Healer) 56 Sniper (DPS) 57 Powertech (Tank) Pubs: 65 Shadow (Tank) 57 Guardian (Tank) 52 Scoundrel (Healer) 65 Sage (Healer) 65 Sentinel (DPS) 65 Gunslinger (DPS)
  14. I miss the days where you paid for a game and you got what came with it.
  15. Please, please, PLEAAAAASE! Desperately seeking barbershop option!
