  1. The Life Day rewards for the snowball fights are pretty nice but we've basically had the same rewards for years. How about a new mount for next Life Day. Three Tauntaun's pulling a seasonal Life Day speeder/sleigh. Instead of ram style horns give the Tauntaun's reindeer styled antlers with little ornaments and lights hanging off of them. The snow ball fights to get this mount would be pretty epic. Sith would be nice to people for a change, Jedi would turn to the Darkside in record numbers, Kath hounds and Manka Cats would be living together. Total chaos would reign in order to have the chance to own one of these speeders. Specter
  2. Okay Devs, This is not rocket science. You don't have to be Wernher Von Braun to figure out that restricting Bounty Hunter class characters to pistols is not a popular stance. Within the Star Wars lore, almost every Bounty Hunter uses a rifle at some point. Now, you are advertising a Bounty Hunter Bundle in the Cartel Market with an Amban Pulse Rifle. New players might actually think that a Bounty Hunter would be able to use the weapon that Din Djarin "The Mandalorian" uses in the popular Disney series. They'll spend 2500 cartel coins on this with their shiny new Bounty Hunter character and realize that they got ripped off. Say "Buh Bye" to a potential subscriber. It would be an easy fix to let Bounty Hunters use rifles and let Vanguards use pistols (not that they'd want to). The two classes are identical in functionality anyway so why not just let the aesthetic follow the function? Since the night SWTOR launched, the idea of a Bounty Hunter being restricted to pistols has never made any sense. Get with program. Give the people who pay your salary what they want.
  3. Since the day SWTOR launched, I've been a little more than aggravated that Bounty Hunters cannot use rifles. What a ridiculous notion. In the Original Trilogy, Bounty hunters used them all the time. Bossk, IG-88, Dengar even Boba Fett. In the prequal trilogy there was Aurra Sing. THEY ALL USED RIFLES. Having worked in South America and Southern Africa during my time in the military, I can say with no level of uncertainty that real life Bounty Hunters carry rifles. Especially in volatile areas. Even Disney's darling new series, "The Mandalorian" shows Din Djarin and a host of other Mandalorians using rifles and cannons. Now I'm not just aggravated I'm downright Pi@$ed. Here we have the Cartel Market selling a Bundle "The Infamous Bounty Hunters Set" in which they depict a nice looking set of armor, a couple of blasters, and the Amban JP Blaster Rifle. A WEAPON THAT THEY CAN'T EVEN USE! If you buy this on it's own it's 2,500 CC's. Does a weapon that is traditionally associated with Bounty Hunters look normal in the hands of a Trooper Vanguard......An Imperial agent? NO. If I remember correctly the first person shown with this weapon was actually Boba Fett, in the old Star Wars Cartoon. Let's get these some attention on this to the Devs. A new player that doesn't know about in game rifle restrictions for Bounty Hunters could get taken on what seems to be a thinly veiled scam.
  4. I just logged in after a long break from SWTOR. After Fallen Empire and Eternal Throne I was disgusted and thought that a break was in order. I played a bit after onslaught launched but I still had that "SWTOR is dead" feeling. I logged in today out of curiosity and saw what a ghost town Fleet, Korriban and Coruscant had become. What's going on with SWTOR in 2021? Is there a road map? Has EA given up on developing new content? Is the game dead? I guess I won't re-sub if there are no plans to try and put out the dumpster fire that was created after Shadows of Revan. Pathetic. This was one of the absolute best MMO's on the market. SWTOR is starting to remind me of Anthem and Fallout 76. What a joke.
  5. Okay so I've read the explanations of the command tokens and how to use them for getting tiered gear from a couple different sources. I've come to a conclusion. All of the idiots that have been fired from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) over the past 10 years are now working on the design team for Star Wars the Old Republic. Apparently SWTOR's idea of streamlining the Tier gear system was created by the same people that "streamlined" the U.S. tax law four years ago by adding over 1000 pages to it and half a dozen more steps in actually acquiring the gear. These changes kind of go hand in hand with the types of changes that they did to the crafting system when KOTFE launched. Instead of turning in 3 levels of data crystals to get tiered gear, I have to do Ops and PVP to get components, in order to make/disassemble parts to get points to get equipment................................ Are you friggin kidding me?! Instead of coming up with these more complicated ways maybe the design team should use their time to fix glitches that have been going on since Beta. i.e. Nadia Grell sitting on her fathers shoulders in the middle of a conference on the Cosular's ship. Risha talking to you face to face while another Risha is working the console with her back to the player and herself. Your companions laying on the floor while you're in the middle of a fight looking pretty dead-ish. Then after the fight the companion continues to lay there while you're "dragging" the corpse along on Taris. It's obvious the design team doesn't care about these glitches as they've been around since the game launched. I myself report these issues every time they appear and I have a sneaky suspicion I'm not the only one that does so. Will SWTOR fix these? Probably not because they are spending their time coming up with new ways to over complicate a process that was working just fine to begin with.
  6. This is a EXTREMELY frustrating . All through the initial story line for each character I cultivated some kind of romantic relationship with companions that are now conspicuously absent. During KoTFE we got one e-mail from our "significant other", leading us to think that there was a chance we would meet again. So instead of betraying a Sergeant Dorne, or a Jaesa Wilsaam, with a fling on the new companions some of us remained loyal to our "beloved" (in game lol). Not only are the majority of the old romance companions gone, but there is NO MENTION OF THEM WHATSOEVER. If my spouse went missing for five years and then I suddenly heard that they were leading an alliance to defeat the Eternal Empire on the other side of the galaxy, you can bet ridiculous sums of money that I'd be on the first transport / warship / garbage scow / asteroid to find out what the heck was going on. If I found out they had started a relationship with some blonde Sith Lord, Former SIS dude, or Zakkul native, I'd cram a double lightsaber up their rear end sideways. On the flip side if I came out of 5 years in carbonite to find the galaxy in this state, my very first priority would be to find out what happened to my spouse and loved ones. Granted, our characters are known throughout the galaxy as the "Outlander" but certainly by chapter 14 of KoTFE all of our old companions would have found out the truth in who this "Outlander" was and we would have heard SOMETHING. Do the SWTOR designers think so little of the time we took to cultivate these in-game relationships? As it stands now we have a small group of romance companions (four I believe) and you HAVE TO FEED ONE OF THEM TO THE WAR AND SACRIFICE THEM THUS CUTTING THE NUMBER DOWN TO THREE! ! All the great story telling in the world doesn't change the fact that the majority of your players are smart enough to remember what they did 2 seasons ago in game. Everyone that I've talked to about this is PISSED. Sooner or later you game designers are going to have to actually LISTEN to what your players are saying. You're also going to have to understand that the people that are actually paying for this game can treat your apathy toward our in-game efforts with our own brand of "I don't care what you do" and simply unsubscribe.
  7. Okay, let me see if I understand this. SWTOR has been hyping this "New Event" Dark vs. Light. In order to participate in this "New Event" and reap all the benefits of these tier rewards, I have to 1) create 8 more characters 2) run them from vanilla all the way through the latest content 3) Do all of the hard modes, solo modes, Ops, world bosses 4) be dark & light 5 by the end of a certain time frame in order to get this specially designed tier gear. This is stuff that we have all been doing since 20 December 2011. So I guess the 18 level 65 characters (9 in each faction) that I have taken from beginning to end have all been a waste of time. I have to buy 8 more character slots and start off fresh. The titles "Founder", "Legendary Player" etc. have no meaning whatsoever. Instead of the designers coming up with an ACTUAL "New Event" and letting the community go through it for these rewards, they want us to start over from the very beginning, do all this tired old content over again and act like we're so thankful and happy that you are allowing us to do this in order to get some half cocked pale comparison rip-off of heirloom gear. The idea for this gear is hardly original and is already implemented in other MMO's. Not to mention the fact that there is nothing "NEW" going on here. This is the same material that the Star Wars community has been doing for the past five years. The time frame that you have given to do this in wouldn't be possible for your F2P members, so they'll have to subscribe in order to get this done (which is obviously your intention) and the subscribers that HAVE done this over and over already will have to buy cartel coins to purchase more character slots (which is ALSO an obvious intention) and hope/pray that they get this done in time to get the rewards. I could go to another server and start all over again with an empty character roster but I'll lose my max legacy with all the benefits. I could Transfer one of my characters over to another server for the legacy but that's money that I don't really care to spend because I'm already paying a subscription. I would say that this is a terrible idea for a new event, but I can't. THERE IS NO NEW EVENT!
