  1. Are you saying it's not HAVING these crew members is why they are "Ghosted"? I appreciate that information. Ok, this gets back to the concept that these are "interactive" deco, and we should be able to have a NON- interactive model of that character that we can place. One that is NOT "ghosted" for my alts of other classes. I DO like being able to interact with MY companions when I'm home. But let's acknowledge that is only useful running story, not useful to players who have maxed out their companion. So, in review... the original post failed to communicate THE SUGGESTION, as it should have, and just asked a background question that was related. Allow me to rectify that and SUGGEST we have a model for each companion we have earned that is NOT ghosted to characters who do not have those members active in crew.
  2. Dyes should work on a color wheel, so you can choose the color and shade for primary AND secondary dye tables. I shouldn't have a "list of available dyes", I should be able to make a dye color I LIKE and would use. 90% of what is available I wouldn't dye my dog with.
  3. I've long wondered WHY the crew members for alts are "ghosts" when I am seeing them in the stronghold. Maybe it is a valid point when I am looking at MY companions with T7 active, he would be "illusionary", but why are all of the other crew members for alts "ghosted"? Is there a point to this I am missing, or can this be changed?
  4. I was VERY disappointed to get my Stage from the nightlife event and find it can only be placed on a starship hook. It sits dwarfed in the middle of the hook, won't move to the edge of the hook and you can't lock down the Bith musicians on it or anywhere NEAR it. It's sad, and there is no reason I can't lock it down inside my Nar Shadda home except this. It would fit just fine and I could decorate around it with patrons THE WAY IT IS IN CLUB VERICA! I can't believe someone who PLAYS this game decided that was the only hook it would work on.
  5. Since I could make a Dark Commando now, I made one running the Bounty Hunter storyline. The big gun slung over my shoulder is messing up about half of the cut scenes. I know a lot of these scenes were filmed before you could add a commando to them, but that's where we are now, and it looks like crap. How hard would it be to just edit the gun out of the cut scenes?
  6. I always feel like i am being cheated when I hang a painting on the wall and there is no text when I hover over it later. Why is house deco "dumb", as in none of it has a tool tip description or anything once it is placed? This can be fixed, and it shouldn't be that hard since all of the items ALREADY have a description attached to them before you lock them down. Also, I'd like to be able to lock down PERSONAL items, my Sith inquis has a mask and a saber from his ancestor, and I'd like to display it. Why can't I lock down something I own? "Convert" it to deco once it's locked down, I don't care... just give us the ability to personalize our strongholds.
  7. To be fair, you can make a pub sniper trooper now. Sniper has a lot of "non sniper" abilities, so I assume the crap range is just a balancing thing.
  8. The first one may be related to a piece of gear that is refreshing your stats, in turn, refreshing your crew skill window.
  9. Why the unfounded confidence that player pop doesn't matter? Plenty of evidence to show it DOES matter, if nothing else, on each player's computer it is noticed as they try to render the additional players. More players require more packets, straining some people's internet connection. Maybe the SERVER doesn't notice... but the players do.
  10. I started characters on SF when I began playing SWTOR. I noticed a lot of rude players and lag. I blamed my computer for the lag and 2020 for the rudeness. To get away from the rude players I tried SS and immediately noticed LESS lag. So it wasn't my computer. This is still just a basic fact for me... SF is closer to me, but laggy. More players maybe? Something about my data pipeline between the two servers different? Dunno, above my paygrade, but readily noticeable difference.
  11. Yep, that's the one I was referring to. In UO you could lock items like that down in your house for display and they became "valuable" as rare items. Of course that drove their item count thru the roof and proved that tactic along with non-instanced housing was a BAD idea.
  12. It's a huge gripe for me that the development team won't even address questions about a SWTOR API when we all know it's possible. They're just not going to get any more money for it, and to be honest, if it's as bug free as the guild window, we should be grateful they never tried it.
  13. Keeping content current isn't a strong suit of SWTOR/ Bioware... Just an instance from today... loading screen tells me I can "deconstruct" grey items in my inventory for more space. No... no you can't. Maybe you could at one time... but now that feature barely even works for the folks who have a specific skill to do that. As an artificer there are tons of dropped items I can make equivalent items to, but I can't deconstruct. Either FIX the deconstruct function, or at LEAST update the tons of info out there telling you you can, when you have no intention of making that happen. A bazillion requests to fix the crafting window, ignored. Request after request asking for the guild window to work as advertised... crickets. It would be a great benefit to this community to tell the TRUTH, or actually do the WORK.
  14. Ok, I received an item in the daily login rewards that I can't use or store in my materials inventory. It's called "Dermaseal", it's a prototype grade item that was introduced in v1.0.0 of SWTOR and I don't seem to have any use for it. May I ask WHY this is in the login rewards and what the Dev team has planned to do with this and the other useless crafting material I got last week?
