We actually tried uninstalling and installing through Steam a couple times before. We never reinstalled over the top of it, though. So, seeing your post made me want to try it. This time, just installing through Steam worked, we didn't have to install over the top of it. We didn't have to install directX, C++, or any of the other tips they say you have to do if your install doesn't work. This has been a frustrating experience and has gone on for over 2 months. Something is wrong with the installer, patcher, or who knows what else. The worst part was technical support had no answers but kept saying the same thing over and over. They like to play the blame game and stated that it's our fault and we must have done something wrong. Whatever is wrong they need to fix it.

Will SWTOR run on Windows 11? We can't seem to get it to work on my dad's PC. It seems to install fine, but when the launcher comes up and we click on the Play button, it grays out for a time then returns to green. He's contacted customer support but has had bad luck with them. So, before we invest a lot of time, will it run on Windows 11?

I completed Hyde and Zeke on one character, and just tried it for the 2nd time on another character and I only see what is in below image. Any reason why I don't get offered the 340 missions?

It has continued. The game is the only thing that is dropping me. Is something known about connection issues?

I have been getting disconnected randomly from the server since Cloud update. The game just kicks me out to server login screen and no servers are listed. It's getting frustrating.

We have different definitions of "momentarily." It's 7:40 and Star Forge is still down. Is there an estimated time that it will be back up?

You are right. I have noticed the Weekly not update before when I queued solo and had all FPs checked in Filter. I figured since it updated under the same conditions 2 times previously, it should for the 3rd. If it is a bug, and was just a random incident not based on a specific FP, all the more reason to report it here.

So, I was queueing for Vet FPs, trying to complete Activity Finder: Pinnacle. I was 2/3 for the weekly, queueing back-to-back, and 2/10 for the Pinnacle. After completing the Shrine of Silence via queue, my 3rd queue in a row, the weekly completed 3/3, but Pinnacle remained 2/10. I checked my Filter afterward and all were checked, and it read 29/29. Does Shrine of Silence not count toward Pinnacle?

So, someone provided me the primary Materials to craft 2 Augments. I critted a total of 3 times and have 5 Augments for them. But, now I have to pay 229 million to mail them to them? Or, now they have to pay 229 million to have them COD? Seriously?

How long are we going to have to set compatibility mode to Win 8? I haven't seen a Dev acknowledge this problem yet.

Turns out I have to set this compatibility every time I open the launcher. Kind of annoying. It still baffles me why all the sudden, with no changes on my end, why I need "Compatible to Windows 8" turned on?

Thank you. Setting my launcher to be compatible to Windows 8 worked. Not sure why, but don't care. The odd part is that my launcher has always worked since it first came out (I've been in game since pre-launch). It worked at 7.0, it worked when 64 bit was added. It chose not to work yesterday for the first time. I didn't do anything different.

I get to the window with the Update link on it where I click "Close" on the launcher, then I launch the game on the next window, but it's locked. Nothing on it works. I noticed that the first screen of the launcher was different. Instead of seeing everything on it, it's like it's a different resolution and some of the buttons overlap, but it let's me click past. However, I can't get past the screen with the Game Update link. Am I the only one? I restarted twice. Same situation. Edit: By the way, that screen says "If you are having problems logging in follow the instructions here" with "here" being a link, but that's not working either.
