  1. Armor sets for Jedi/SIth that don't have the hood up. When I play Sith Inquisitor or Jedi Consular or Jedi Knight I end up buying the Formal wear social I outfit because I hate hoods. I've played twilek characters purely for the fact they will never have the hood up. More low level... (lvl 11) formal wear and have some casual wear cloths. We should be able to show up at a formal party not all wearing the same thing. We should be able to change out of our battle gear and just wear regular cloths when we're say at a bar or on our ship. Yes this is a lot of "roleplay" motivation... but that's what you get when you discuss customizing the characters looks. There are several mission rewards and or specialty item outfits that I wish were moddable. For instance the armors you can buy with stater world commendations. The Jedi Knight gear from Tython looks especially good and I wish I could have that look at higher levels. Now how you want to implement that could be several ways... You could just make it moddable... or sell something that looks exactly like it as social gear... or have it available for sale on the Cartel Market coming in game update 1.5... or add it to the drop list of flashpoint or heroics bosses. Being able to find a moddable version of your starter planet specialty gear in Black Talon or Esseles would work well. Also... I finally made it to Corellia and figured out what race my avatar is... Selonian. I want that as a playable race dang it!
  2. yeah... unfortunately it's my pretty much only option. I don't do heroic missions past the origin world. I don't pvp. I don't do Flashpoints. So I need something to do between planets to get me where I like to be... 2 lvls above min for the next planet. X-wing. Tie Fighter, and X-wing vs. Tie Fighter are for me the best Star Wars games ever. No game to come out since them has approached their awesome. The Space Combat in SWTOR sucks. It's like a drop of water on the tongue of someone dieing of thirst. I can just sort of taste the space combat I yearn for... I got another example... from a terrible movie. Battlefield Earth. The aliens starve the humans then let them loose. Then the aliens watch to see what they eat first and assume that must be their favorite food... The humans... starving just eat the first thing they can find... rats. BW assuming we like their space combat is like the aliens thinking the humans liked eating rat.
  3. shoot wrong forum.... well who likes space combat as it is? I don't. But it is space combat so I play.
  4. 1. it's not an auction house. It's a consignment shop. 2. default prices do not accurately reflect cost to produce. 3. putting an item in the sell slot doesn't automatically show recent purchase prices for that item. 4. can't "browse" the categories. Must use the search. I'd rather click through nested lists than go through the dropdown search system.
  5. Why can't all the missions for crew skills just be there all the time? (except of course when crew are on them...) I'm tired of going in and out of my ship trying to get the mission list to refresh so I can use the one crafting materials mission. I just spent the last hour trying to get Archeology to let me send a crew member on the mission to get Termoionic gel suspension. It still hasn't popped. I've tried logging off and back on. I even logged into a different character then came back. GAH!
  6. If you enabled the test server that is where you would choose to login to it versus the regular game. A bug caused this screen to show up for everybody. Today's update corrected that bug.
  7. I'm only just starting to play the GTN. There does not seem to be a convenient way to check what things are selling for. If when I place an item in the box to sell... a list came up of what prices that item is currently or in the recent past been listed at... then I would put my price at those prices. Right now If I want to check the prices... I switch over to buy... type in a search... hope there are any being sold at all or I'm out of luck... I don't bother with it. What ever the GTN sets as the default price for my item is... the price of my item.
  8. Space combat... Why do the capital ships keep firing after I've destroyed all their guns? Why do the capital ships keep firing accurately after I've destroyed their targeting array? Why do the capital ships keep maneuvering after I've destroyed their engines? Why do the capital ships not explode after I've destroyed everything targetable on them? What do the capital ships shields actually do? They don't seem to protect their guns or engines or targeting arrays.
  9. I have 17 characters. None over lvl 36. What will I do when I reach level cap? RP, Craft, search down the exact right pieces of gear to get my character looking just right, get my other characters to level cap, make another character, help other people, My playstyle is mostly solo. The addition of the group finder will allow me to group for flashpoints more often.
  10. I blame both. If i haven't clicked "yes" on a "Do you want to be flagged for PvP?" pop up then I shouldn't get flagged for PvP ever.
  11. overleveled = not a problem. I purposefully am 2 levels above the min recommended for a planet. By the time I am done with a planet I'm usually only 1 level past the max of the planet and must do several days worth of space combat to level again before starting the next planet.
  12. I don't want it to be really easy. But I do want it to take something other than just time. Grinding credits isn't hard... in fact I'm hard pressed to think of an easier thing. What it is, is boring. I want things to take skill or cleverness to get. If you are sufficiently skillful or clever then it shouldn't take very much time to get. Time spent is not a good measure of difficulty.
  13. Sometimes I wonder how carefully they read them... I started a thread about how gathering is still a little messed up after PTS 1.3 U1 and mod posted directing me a thread with no posts... about companions not gathering before PTS 1.3 U1. Same type of thing has happened on live when I report one bug and they close the ticket saying it's a known completely different bug... I reported it again With big "This is not the bug you think it is" text... they finally listened.
  14. I was dismayed today when I realized it would not let me queue for FPs I had out leveled. In live I haven't been doing FPs due to being unable to find a group while questing on planets. So I've built up a bunch of FPs that I want to do but am horribly out leveled for. The group finder was my hope for finally being able to do the ones I had missed. It should in my opinion let us queue for any FP we meet the minimum level for. Being over level should not prevent us from queuing. Now I do think it should try to match levels of the people queuing as closely as possible but I think after say 15min the level range for matching should be expanded and continue expanding until a group is found.
  15. ok got my first group with group finder... about 10 min ago... still in a loading screen... the progress bar isn't moving but the little gear is spinning slowly. Ok I just appeared at the entrance after 20min... but I'm not in a group and no one else is here... what just happened? loading screens I saw: first http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m6/FITorion/SWTOR/Bugs/Screenshot_2012-06-08_19_26_53_377929.jpg then http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m6/FITorion/SWTOR/Bugs/Screenshot_2012-06-08_19_28_44_290039.jpg Feedback: I was in the queue but as it doesn't show if there is anyone else in the queue too I had no indication on how long I had to wait. I was just about to leave the queue and log off when it hit. Some sort of listing of those in the queue with me would be welcomed.
