  1. Can confirm you can gift a one time 2 month subscription through Steam. Now, I have some additional questions about this, if anyone knows the answer: 1. Last I heard you become preferred player when you spent at least 5 dollars on the game. If I buy a subscription for someone else, do they become preferred after their subscription runs out? 2. It's not actually 2 months, but rather 60 days. So if I give a subscription on Christmas (25 december) it runs out on 22 februari, right? 3. With the refer a friend program gone, is there still a way to obtain the preferred friends bundle legacy wide, without having to buy it seperately on each character?
  2. And would you be so kind as to provide me with a link or point me in the right direction? I don't remember seeing those notes and I can't find them in the usual places.
  3. I've been playing this game since around the release of Rise of the Hutt Cartel and subscribed on and off. Legacy of the Sith will be the first expansion I experience at launch (within the first year of its launch, even.) But I'm rather disappointed to see there are no subscriber rewards this time around. When Onslaught launched, all subscribers got the nautolan species for free. Knights of the Fallen Empire had a bunch of exclusive subscriber rewards leading up to its launch. The first two expansions had this whole pre-order business. I haven't seen any such things announced for LotS. Did I miss an announcement somewhere or am I just too late to the party?
  4. I guess. Commander compendium's aren't possible to get with credits for f2p, though. I don't like spending my cartel coins on that, but maybe that's just being picky. (Though a using a commander's compendium makes any prior gifts given, wasted.)
  5. Wait, so you can only increase Altuur Zok Adon's influence with the gifts gained through galactic seasons and crew skills? (The latter of which give a minimal amount of influence.) He doesn't accept any other type of gift? So if you're not a subscriber at the right times during this season, you will never be able to get him past influence 18?! I get that they want people to subscribe, but this feels more like punishing the people who can't afford to subscribe all the time. I'd rather they just don't give the companion to those people at all, so they're not left with something incomplete. Honestly, this whole galactic seasons thing confuses me. They bring back old subscriber rewards for people who missed out on them, yet they introduce new rewards with limited availability.
  6. I got nothing to add. Just bumping this because it needs attention. Preferrably I'd see both the arrival points fixed and quick travel points added. But I'll take satisfaction with eiter one of the two.
  7. Can someone also explain to me what the Makeb staged missions were all about? I heard there was a story connected to it, but I only played rothc after they changed it. Now they're just some random missions with little context at the end of which I always have to call undermoff Bensen. But why? Who is this guy? I thought Makeb was under control? I really feel like I'm missing out on important story content.
  8. ^ I'm having the same problem as well. Searched the entire forum and tried everything mentioned. Game still does not launch after clicking "play".
  9. Guilds are a great idea to bring people together, but it doesn't really matter much which of the hundreds of guilds you choose. (Espacially since the raising of experience gain.) Here are my ideas to make guilds stand out more from eachother and to give players more reason to join one: -Guild bonus Now all guilds have a reputation and experience bonus. I think it'd be better if there was only one bonus, but the guild leader can choose which bonus. examples: reputation, experience, credits, presence, social points, warzone commendations.... -Guild colors This idea is simple: the guild leader pays some credits and a dye module to set a guild color. Then all guild members can change their gear to that color by checking the "use guild colors" box in their appearance tab. -Titles Have your guild rank be available as a title to carry above your head. -Bound decorations You should still be able to donate decorations that are bound to you to a guild stronghold. There are a lot of decorations that are bind on pickup and can thus not be placed in a guild stronghold. Such a shame! -Bounty contract Have some decorations that are only available for guild strongholds (shady character, point of contact, randezvous beacon) so that you can set up an exclusive bounty contract for your guild members. It works the same as a regular bounty; once a day, only during bounty contract week, they would still have to go the bounty terminal before and after the mission. -Guild merchant Another decoration exclusively for guild strongholds. A vendor. The guild officers can add items to this vendor's inventory and set prices for them. The other guild members (or anyone who visits the stronghold) can buy those items. The money goes directly to the guild bank. -Guild flashpoint An exclusive flashpoint that can only be done with a guild.
  10. For years now I have wondered, what is "aggro"? Is it even an abbreviation? I see this one a lot but have no idea what it could mean.
  11. This is something I've also wanted for a while. I support this idea.
  12. A lot of decorations (from data crystal vendor, reputation vendors and some others) are Bind on Pickup, so you are unable to donate them to a guild bank. So these decorations are only available for you personal stronghold. there's not even a "purchase for guild" option like with a lot of Cartel Market decorations. This decreases the usefulness of guild strongholds. I would really want some of these decorations for all of my guild to enjoy. (Also: increase drop rate of flashpoint decorations.)
  13. Everyone is complaining about this event because they are at the character cap. I'm not saying that's a bad reason, but I complain about this event for the opposite reason. I have just recently created my third character and made it to Tatooine. I want to take my time to explore the story. I don't want to rapidly create some new characters and rush through a story and gameplay I won't understand because it's going too fast.
  14. Power goes to the one who consumes the painting of the first Devaronian church. But that's just a hunch.
