  1. I agree that something has to be done to stop multiple accounts running on one computer, because in the end that would solve everything. You cant just massively nerf the tradeskills and screw the average player over because of people botting. If you want proof do some research on it and you will see its a common method for botters in this game to run 20+ accounts and automate the tradeskills, I know we can't provide links so if you want proof, look it up. The one guy who was crazy about getting treasured hunting nerfed wasn't lying about there being hundreds of juggernauts newly created with max treasure hunting all in their ships. Its a viable way to make and earn credits while having little risk of the community report you or get upset. The tricky thing is it's like an unseen cancer that will keep eating away at the economy and making items more and more expensive. If you compare the market now to that 3 months ago its insane how much things have gone up.
  2. Of course the credit sellers are directly adding credits into the game. How does treasure hunting on 300+ toons 24 hours a day in anyway benefit the economy or the players? Its as if someone was printing money in mass effect. The credit sellers will never stop as long as there is a way to automate profits. It takes them 0 effort to do this and yet it earns them great profits. I used to craft things like augments/hilts/armor to buy cartel items off the broker, but I stopped because the price of those items have gone up 20-30x or more and the price of the crafted goods are stagnant. It is slowly suffocating the economy and for a player like me who enjoyed the crafting/market aspect of the game, this change has ruined the game for me. 3 minutes for instant profit, it makes no sense. I remember the days of being so happy getting a thermal on those hour and a half missions and feeling good crafting an augment and selling it. Now i see 20+ stacks of the same companion gifts, 3-5 pages of the same name with stacks of thermals and crystals, it just totally killed any fun for me. I shouldn't say now, this was awhile ago I'm sure it has only gotten worse but I did the six month sub and within a month saw the economy get wrecked. Still feel nostalgic about the old days.

If what he said is true that there are multitudes of same level/class all in their ship, its using basic logic to determine that they are doing the most profitable thing they could be doing with their crew skills in their ships 24/7. You keep raging at the OP when hes just posting something that should be fixed and that is hurting the game since it only caters to people botting 24/7 and would only help the population and their own sales to fix it. Why do think it should stay in the game, to benefit botters?
  5. Printing credits doesn't hurt other sales where you spend real life money to get credits. Please tell me you are joking? If there are easy ways for the farmers to script and bot credits out of thin air, its 100 percent going to negatively affect cartel market sales, and the economy as a whole. 1 hour missions down to 10 with a huge increase in crit chance, on missions that grant the farmers credits for 0 effort. Please don't troll and say it wont effect anything.
  6. Sadly, I just don't think they care. The lower mission times from an hour to 9 minutes on the rich and now you get 25 percent crit, just shows that the game is pandering to those who wish to have things easier and quicker. They would have to overhaul the whole crew skill system or else people automating them will be able to take advantage and make millions a day out of nothing. 10 million credits will have the same value in a month as 1 million does now and it will keep going till the farmers have no interest or you will see prices of items go up indefinitely.
  7. Yeah its frustrating to see some "people" list 10-20 thousand siniteen at a time. It used to take an hour to do the rich slicing missions and the crit rate was lower because the companions were lower level. Now you can do the rich missions for mats in 9 minutes I think it is and 3 min 20 seconds for the lockboxes. Logical huh.
  8. You choose not to actually do any research of your own or even read the whole thread where people said specific things that were occurring. It's like your trying to bait someone to break the forum rules and post something we both know they shouldn't. Inflation to what percent? If there is a 1000% increase on the price of items and they are selling instantly, you should suspect something is up. I'm glad they fixed the exploit but if there were massive amounts of currency that was sent all over, wouldn't you want them to take the time necessary to fix it to the best of their ability? If you don't know what happened that's fine, but you shouldn't constantly argue and bash people that are just trying to help the game. Who knows what maintenance will bring though, one can hope.
  9. Unsubstantiated, right. Read the thread, actually look at whats happened to prices of items on the GTN. But you won't, some people just want to put their head in the sand.
  10. If you don't care why do you keep replying? It seems like you don't want it to get fixed, wonder why that is. All you do is make unintelligent snarky comments that aren't helpful, or useful to the player base. The attempt of people saying stuff about it is to raise awareness that we might need a change to better the economy and help the game recover.
  11. I wish I could be so oblivious to all common sense. Those blinders are something else. When credits are exploited or created from thin air it negatively affects everyone. Someone who pays for cartel items with real money is going to be and should be very angry when someone else buys the same item with credits that were exploited, since they always get listed on the GTN.
