  1. They could simply count legacy names as a part of our names and it would be betther.
  2. Well as an heavy crafter// galactic trade seller and alt player, the perk I gain + de 600 cartel/month worth it. That + helping to game to be in a not so bad state is more then enough for me. I also never add to buy the + hotbar, wallet and a way less character slot since I'm always subbed. I'd have to spend ton of cartel pts in order too drop subs. Even with all of billions of credit I do make, I still spend ton of cartel on armor set// tuning // weapons etc.
  3. I've realised the crew skill cap haven't changed so can you still craft stuff for lvl 80 players ? Crafting is a big part of my playtime in SWtoR so I'm woundering if its worth comming back for me.
  4. Qeynos is the good aligned city cuz its EQ Sony spelled back word.
  5. The problem is that SWtOR had the biggest sin of all. Having a bad start. This game is great but it was a mess at start and drove away ton of player who never looked back. Very few game recovered from a bad start, actualy I can only think of 2. FF online and ESO. The first one had to delete the game and start it from scratch and the second, had to spend ton of money on advertising to attrack people back after they have made big change to there game. Bioware did neither and it has the OK success we have now. its fine but tis far from what it could be.
  6. When your up to a point were the credit cap prevent you from buying the stuff that you want, that mean you've reached the point we're you must become a paying customers. And SWtOR is a MMO that really do not have you requiring to buy anything. You can earn everything just buy doing even veteran dungeon. The only reason to buy anything is for appearance purpose. Even boosting another character is hella fats since you can just farm items for him on your current main.
  7. I think you've pretty much nailed it perfectly. The rest of your post is also interesting.
  8. I think that story should be completed prior doing any of the sith ones. I feel like the jedi consular plot was fine, and had a few surprises. But it is lacking 1 thing the sith inquisitor and warrior story have. Adversity. As a sith, you start as a slave, your being mocked and you must fight for you life at every moment. Even your own master wants you dead, so you must carefully fight you way from the bottom to the top. As a jedi consular, you are regarded as some sort of genius since day one and you get named Barsentor, after a couple of quest. You don't have to earn anything, everything is handed to you. It takes only a couple of minute of playtime to surpass your jedi master in power. And that is the weak spot of the story. Playing a light jedi consular feels like that everything you get is due to your birthrights connection with the force. If I could compare this to the story of Naruto (for the anime fan). Naruto is a boyscoot, he always do the right thing. But he is a lovable character because he worked harder then anyone else to get where he is. The jedi consular is a boyscoot who was born that way. That's not interesting. Well that is my opinion.
  9. I mostly play imperial so usualy Republic are the ones thats I hate and I let them die every time that I can. But Theron Shan as been written so well that I anjoy him and use him sometimes. He deserve a place in my team, while I hope that someday I'll be able to let Malavin Quiin die.
  10. Casual is kidad the core fanbase of SWtoR. Like 99% of MMO's
  11. 1) The new leveling speed is the number 1 reason I've been subbed for more then 3 months. The slow pace we used to have just hurted the completion of main story. Since this game end game can be completely negated by credit (you can literally buy your full rated 306 gear with credit). Their is few reason to spend a lot fo time at lvl cap other then for helping friend or to complete ops. Also the fact they just under elvel you if you level too fast make your point moot. I sometimes creat a toon and complete every class and planetary mission for the sake of folowing the story. Their is no need to slow the EXP gain for everyone in order to anjoy the game missions. 2) I agree with that one, the difficulty choice you can get once you reach the eternal empire missions should be implented in every other part of the game. 3) If your a new player chances are that you couldn't afford the decrease of transportation time. Traveling time sink are good for new players, not for those who were playing beta.
  12. Saying its the death of the game might be an over statement. But personaly, it does not appeal to me. From what I hear, I,ll probably quite the game. It just give me another reason to play lost ark this september instead.
  13. Since I play mostly empire character, I'M not a big fan of Theron but I still think he was implented in a good way (He is really the Lenna Beniko of the republic). It still makes sense to have him around you, even playing a sith. Unlike Malavai Quinn which I still hate bioware for not letting me kill him.
  14. I know it does derease the time for completion and that it is boosting the chance to critical on crafting but does it increase the number of item rewared by a mission ? Trying to figure if it worth spending over 9M per companion on my character that have all mission skills and no crafting.
