    • You don't have to do choices DS even if you play on imp side. I rarely do, and for the same reasons you listed.
    • yeah sorry bro but no. The game didn't go from 8 servers to barely 4 because lack of good "RP opportunities" this was originally planned as an MMO, not a place for single player gamers to single player game and LOLZ in gen chat about politics or how they ate a tuna sandwich for lunch
    • @GreyestJedi dxdiag shows more then just what you listed  So your using a intel video card ? if so paste the client_setting file , the issue maybe textures are too high as these cards are below the minimum game requirements  generally In these cases gfx cant be set to higher then high, if set higher game can fail to load Key lines to adjust would be  TextureQuality = 1 GraphicsQuality = 1
    • I  can’t seem to get my FPS to go over 60 anymore. I had my FPS max set to 120 and for a while I was getting like 98fps at 2160p. But that was the steam version. I changed to the normal client and now it seems locked to 60 fps exactly. Maybe the steam vs the normal client has nothing to do with it and it was just a coincidence…I don’t know. But some areas of the game, like on Taris in the underground tram station, it will lock to 30fps and then move back to 60fps as soon as I leave. My system may not be a $5,000 PC, but it’s far from cheap - it can handle ALOT more than 60fps. Even changing the resolution from 2160p to 1440p, it still stays stuck at 60. I thought maybe it was the AMD FreeSync, so I turned that off on both the monitor AND the computer settings - same result. I’ve also toggled the 120 to 200 and back again…no change. Now to be honest, I have a 60Hz monitor so it doesn’t matter much for me right now anyway. But I’m shopping for a 144Hz (or higher) display and wanted to evaluate how many FPs I’m getting to see if a GPU Upgrade is warranted. Based on my earlier testing I can get close to 100fps on a 2160p native display scaled down to 1440p. I have had trouble testing at 1440p because when I change the game resolution from 3840 x 2160 (my native monitor resolution) down to the 2560x1440 (what windows is scaling the system resolution to), the game goes to a smaller window and refuses input and I end up having to use task manager to kill it. But display scaling messes up the UI in SWTOR and I can’t get it to fix whether in full screen, or full screen windowed…but that’s another story. The point is, I’m just going for a native 1440p 27” monitor this time. I don’t want anything bigger than 27”, and I’d rather just get native 1440p than have to mess with scaling - it’s just been a major pain for me; not just in swtor but in other areas too. I just hope I don’t have to fight the game to get more than 60fps out of it.
    • Thanks for the screenshots.  It's pretty much what I expected.   Same as the changes to the 7.0 UI, anytime I saw 'before' and 'after' screenshots it looked they had been switched, the downgrade was that bad in my opinion. Still would be nice if they gave us an option to remove the fog, I'm not fond of blurry/obscured landscapes.   Or bright, blinding sun like in your other screenshots.
