Fan Art

While developing characters and working out mechanical designs for a comic series, community member Tanq created a scrapbook thread for ideas he’s working on. Visit Tanq’s Concept Scrapbook thread for a sneak preview of two panels from the first issue, as well as some character concepts, and other pieces of Star Wars™ art. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished comic!

Check out Darth Rasp 3D animation, a vibrant four minute video featuring a cloaked Sith infiltrating a Republic base. All models, textures, animations, and rigging were done by community member Vitellius. You can see screenshots of the video in the thread 3D animated Sith. Incredible work!

Ash, also known as Oxyjin in the community, created a painting of what he hopes his character will resemble. Check it out in the Oxy's Cantina thread. It was created using a Wacom tablet and Photoshop CS4, and took roughly 7 hours to complete. Thanks for posting!

Developer Corner

We worked with The Old Republic developers to get you a first-hand look at game content that is currently in production.

The Cathar are among the many species you may come across in your travels through the galaxy. They are known for being strong, effective fighters, and are considered unique for their feline features and personality attributes.

Events

Yesterday marked the start of San Diego Comic Con 2010. Get connected with Star Wars: The Old Republic at several booths as well as the “Beyond Solo” panel taking place today at 1PM PST. Check the Events page for more information.

Curious to know what events The Old Republic might be attending? We’re excited to announce that you’ll get your chance to see The Old Republic at this year’s Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando, FL from August 12th to the 15th, GamesCom in Cologne, Germany from August 18th to the 22nd, as well as the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in Seattle, WA from September 3rd to the 5th. As we get closer to these shows we’ll be updating the Events page with more information.

To download the newest edition, log into your account and access the Fan Site Kit page where you will be prompted to fill in your information and accept the terms and conditions. Enjoy the new content!

Equip your profile with Master Gnost-Dural, Hylo Visz, Darth Revan or other characters featured in the Galactic Timeline. To update your forum avatar, log in and go to My Account, and click Avatar. From there, navigate through the pages till you find the avatar of your choice. Enjoy!
