I honestly believe that the music to this game is going to be one of the elements of the game that will keep players immersed within the story, gameplay, and lore. It is honestly amazing to see this much work go into the game and I am really excited to see the final outcome. :0. |
Amazing music. Most of the MMORPG i have played without music. |
I get so excited every time i see new material, and every single time i'm surprised how convincing the game play looks and how great it sounds. It's going to be a wonderful experience going into this universe once again... can't wait! |

I hope that we well be able to buy and play (Pazaak) in the cantinas as well, but knowing bioware they mostly likely have this covered already too.Either way this game is going to be awesome and the music is something im very happy and excited about lol i own all of the star wars soundtracks so I would love to add this to my collection to .I hope that if we pre-order the game they'll through in the music soundtrack.I know a lot of us would be very excited if that was to happen. For the Republic!!!! |

Looks great. Keep it up BioWAre!! I was really really excited during the Taris developer video, they had the music from the old Taris in KOTOR1. I hope the old music from Taris, is in the new Taris :P |
Did anybody else notice the Xbox 360 in this video? =) |
Yup, twice, nothing unusual is a gaming studio, they produce games for almost all console types. The XBOX was turned off btw so no worries, TOR will be PC only =P |
Not sure what you're talking about seeing that Bioware made it clear that TOR was for PC. |
At what part? |
Great update!! |
I have to say that I never gave a toss about music in games. I mean, yes, it does add to the overall gaming experience, but I never actually paid any attention to it. That being said, after watching this vid, I now have a completely new outlook on it and I fully applaud all the hard work. I will never listen to ingame music the same way again. Bravo. |
This follows all the star wars music saga !!! good job ^^ |
Wow the music sounds great but not as epic as mass effect 2 soundtrack just saying dont hate me please |
I 100 percent agree!!! Mass Effect 2 is way too good to be beat by anything other than mass effect 3. |
/slaps you across the face with a latex glove |
/facepalm |
Good music choices. Music does play an important role in creating a video game. |
LOL How can you judge already and from one song ? thats like me saying Kotor's soundtracks better then mass effect 2 even though ive only heard suicide mission =P |
Nothing but the very best. It is the least we are willing to accept from this game. |
I have to say the music in the game is absolutely amazing and reminds me of the awesome music in the movies! great job bioware! |
The music is truly beautiful. |
I have to say the more I read and see on this game the more excited I am becoming. The look and feel of the game is very important to me. Character movement and power choices are a fun part of the game, but without the feel of a world that has depth and presence, well it is just a game. This is what I have been looking for... |
this looks grrrrrrrrreat!! |
long live the empire and down with the republic!!! |

Kkolttss asked..." if every charecter has its own saga how can charecter 1 play with charecter 2 and 3 if every one has a diffrent saga??? " I don't think it's as complicated as you think it is. No one has played the game yet (or is free to report from game testing) how it will be done. But if you play KOTOR you will understand what will happen. Essentially there you have a group (unless you leave them all on the ship). You make the decisions but in most cases the results of any choice are not that big. So most likely you will be presented with three ways to respond. They may change how the NPC feels about you, but the story is pretty much the same. Maybe like in KOTOR sometimes an NPC will be killed (or you will lie about having killed him), but he wasn't important to the storyline either way (as far as your character is concerned). Hopefully this can unlock or lockout other quest lines, probably not. So even if your grouped and no one agrees on how to answer. Say you can have 6 people in a group. At worse you have 2 of each type of answer. In most cases more people will answer on one of the choices. If 5 is the group number it should avoid "ties" everytime. Either way the game will go with the most answering a certain way, thus "the group" decides. This is essentially like in a table top game. You all answer what the Gm throws at you, and the group decides...Some go begrudingly, others picked the way they will go. As far as individual sagas, this is like any other MMO, you essentially get a class quest. Like WOW a Warlock getting a pet quest, most classes have these types of quest. The tendency I have seen these days is to make it an instanced quest, you can take your group on, or do alone. No matter what you choose you are creating your own story. So it is a saga. If your buddy goes along he becomes part of it. So it's like all other MMO's as far as the quest go. But essentially even though the good and evil sides have a slightly different storyline, it gets both of them in the exact same place. Both essentially have the same gear (for their class) and both end up with the same goal (kill the other guys), but for different reasons. And have the same level cap. If you choose to adventure in a different area, it may change the quest you get, but the outcome at the end is essentially the same.... Your at War with the other guys. The way this game is doing it though, hopefully you will enjoy the story more along the way. Which means you will actually remember your saga or storyline. Whereas in most MMO's you don't. This is actually attempting to make this MMO more like tabletop games. Where the story is just as important as the hack and slash. |
