I wonder how many have realized that maybe the lucky ones accepted haven't said anything because they don't want to be bombarded with messages, be faced with any actions taken by BioWare if they gave anything away & if people haven't heard, there have been leaks on YouTube, so maybe those who leaked have been punished. I certainly wouldn't want to risk a place on the beta or if the extreme punishment of being banned from the released game.

I still wonder if it is really in beta yet? mmorpg.com still says its in developing stage and not in beta. Also the videos you see on you tube can be old or new videos from company developers not from beta testers?

nearly forgot, the developers wouldn't leak anything, they like anyone signed up for the beta have probably signed disclosures & they have a lot more to lose than us

well the main subject is "Game Testing is Underway!" so I'd believe so and since its dated over a month, I'd doubt it take them that long to get started

well only BioWare can say while anyone participating in the closed beta have agreed to a disclosure, so legally can't talk about it.

People have been picked for the Beta already, as I have seen a couple of you tube videos on it, it looks pretty good so far, although it still is in the closed Beta stage if I am not mistaken and hopefully a mass open Beta will be released soon :D.

I was wrong in my earlier statement, participants to the game testing program are allowed to state the program exists and that they are part of it.
Strange that none have stepped up yet.

Post likely because they have signed an NDA that prohibits them from discussing the beta, possibly even prohibits them from admitting they're in the beta test or that the beta test has even started.

Not uncommon during closed beta testing (although often a little less strict).

im speaking for the Sitar army. i have a few reasons for you to join us.
-we accept all classes. why? think about it. from what we here about the bounty hunter, he is pretty good right? you cant dieny it. now the trooper is great as well. think about them working together on the battle field. almost unbeatable.
-all of you will be important to the army. no one will be a pawn, and as many people that want to join can.
-we wont hide our amry from the republic, or the sith. our base will be hiden, but they will know that we are out there somewhere.
-i dont control the army, we vote

i will not tell you were our base is now, becouse our enemies could find out. so all you hundred people trying to make a guild of sith or of jedi, just save yourself some time and drop it. you might get 2 people, compared to the 37 and gaining in this army. if you want to keep going, but good luck when we come in.

I doubt that there will be much negative feedback, but I hope that the testers will search the worlds with absolute scrutiny to find any and all bugs. I mean, I would too, but having the finished product is much more fun.

Dude there's a disclosure that states not to leak anything out to media/audience for the safety of whether the beta phase is good or not. I've beta tested alot and would never ever ruin my rep by doing something like leak info.

When your selected as a test6er you have to sign a disclosure agreement to not mention or leak what you have seen. If they post videos the devs will immediately know who posted and ban them from any testing of the game. If your serious about trying to help the game be the best it can be then nobody will leak info. Won't be long until closed and then open beta be out for more of us to play, and testing is hard work beta is alot more fun.

it would be a great honor to get picked for beta testing but i dont mind waiting for the game cause these 8 months will go past fast when im in collage sooo... yeah

man ive been stuck with my years of experiance playing WoW, and just when a awsome NEW type of MMO comes out i dont get picked to help test and make it the best it can be, for peet sake WoW always picks me for beta and im currently testing cataclysm, wish Starwars liked me that much, as i like them more then Blizzard =p

This game is going to kick some major bootay. Especially since it's BioWare that's doing the story and all. Honestly, they're my favorite game making company, and I've got a really good feeling about this game. The two main things I'm looking forward to are, number one, the story line, and number two, the combat. I just can't wait untill Spring of next year. But untill then, at least I'll have The Force Unleashed II to help sustain my Star Wars needs.

Oh yeah, Starkiller is gonna be so powerful in this game. If you saw the demo from E3, then you know how awesome Force Fury mode is going to be. I can't wait to get that game. I've got the special edition on reserve.

I can't wait for this game to come out. I have been a fan of the Star Wars Universe since the first movie came out in 1976. I would love to get picked to test this game. If I don't get picked then I don't. If I don't then I'll be chomping at the bit until the game is released, when ever that is.

I honestly hope I get a crack at this game. I know with my computers specs I could run it perfectly and I know I would play it nonstop lol. Maybe I'll get lucky.
