It'd be nice if our story lines are as different as the comic's characters.

Being a sith and having your path twist various different ways with the choices you make is going to be a blast, Hope they turn out as well as this latest comic has.

I understand that Bioware is trickling out info about the game really slowly.. Exceptionally slowly, in fact. Just fast enough for people to maintain some sort of interest in the game.
But that doesn't mean I can't be really aggravated by it. I'm enjoying this comic though, so far. The last one was just plain amateur, in both storytelling and art-style. I hope some of the characters in these comics get biographies in the bio section.

I'm really hoping that they allow us to buy and pilot our own ships because having a taxi system would be a real letdown. Plus, guys just calm down this game won't be out until around spring 2011 so we still have a long wait, and there are going to be better updates ahead. Also, if you havn't been waiting for well over a year for this game like I have, don't make be making stupid comments. Seriously, do some recearch on the game and then state your opinion.

Oooh - thanks for bringing up ships. I would love to see ships combined with housing. Think of it for a sec - you start off small with ships and gear at the lowbie levels. As you work up, you buy bigger ships and acquire more stuff. In PoBS, you could have multiple ships, so do the same here. Then one could be like a yacht with all your trophies, etc and others could be tricked out for combat or smuggling or bounty hunting, etc. I personally don't want a sea of cubes on the landscape like SWG nor do I like instanced housing because they would be limited to one planet. Using the ships, you could fly one ship around and keep the others in a datapad and pull out the one you want to fly (or to invite a friend into to show off your stuff). There!

So, the Sith race will be alive and well in the game? Just as story characters, or is there a chance that Sith could be a playable race?

The Sith, over time, have interbred with the humans of the Empire... the descendants of the dark Jedi. According to currently available sources, full blooded Sith are very rare, but hybrids still abound, with many of them showing signs of their lineage - face tentacles, red skin, etc. She is a hybrid from the look of it.

This comic is WAY better than the first..I do wish we could've received more content for the fan friday though. Not sure about anyone else but after coming to this site for over a year, i look forward to EVERY friday..I know everyone looks for different content to be revealed but I'd love to know some of the basics about this game. They dont even have to go into detail but a mention of player housing or crafting professions or companions characters....something like that would be nice..adding to the inhabitants section would've been great.

Yep! As soon as E3 comes there should even be a Beta release day AND! and official release. That's usually the big news they give out during E3....I hope.

Okay so I guess the FRIDAY FEATURE has gone out the window..

I don't mind reading the new comic, it's a welcome way to pass the time till launch, and this new comic is a million times better then last comic both in story and art direction.

However the comic, should not come at the expense of the Friday Feature where we get to see REAL relevant game features being developed.

We still haven't see anything related yet to Player Characters interacting with other Player Characters and I am starting to get concern that this entire MMO is going to be a Massive Single Player Online Game.

If someone asked me or any other potential gamer hey does that new Star Wars MMO allow you to craft items, have player housing, or create clans. I would honestly say I have no clue. Those aren't major game features those are the basics things seen in most last gen MMO's and none of that has been covered yet.

Well they did say that SWTOR would have "all of the typical features of an MMO," so I would guess "yes" to a lot of your questions. But at the same time I'm curious about star wars specific features, such as outer space combat (which would be a lot of fun), different playable species/races, and of course the specifics of professions and such.

i agree with you completely, i like how the website is maintained and is always up to date. i even appreciated the fact that every Friday they give us something and they never forget to post it. however it may still be a while before the game comes out and i have been watching this website for about a year know. i am starting to get bored.

the times when they have good updates like videos and stuff (things that relate to the game) i enjoy. but when they give us just a comic or a fan Friday feature, it causes me to get real frustrated and makes me wonder why i should be waiting this long.

Bioware need to give us reasons to keep waiting for this game, and they aren't going to do that with just a comic posted on a Friday...

And concerning Other MMO's, don't worry, it has Star Wars on it, it will sell whatever it is, look at swg, its still going and that was never good, CU or NGE.

I like this comic way better than the first one - the drawing style is way better imo. Storywise is a little early to comment on - but so far i like it. Its not as messy (switch back and forth between places and characters) as the first.
That said i cannot fathom how any one in their right mind would find the sith and their society/way of life interesting. Lieing, cheating, scheming, assassination, and imbueing fear in others to make yourself stand out. must be very cold and very lonely.... how sad is that?

I agree; this comic is way better than the 1st one. That one was completely random at times and was hard to completely grasp what the hell was going on-it sucked a lot tbh.

This comic is going to be more successful I believe.

Tbh the Sith are interesting in a way; seeing that they are completely opposite of the Republic's way of control and morals. Tbh I think I might make my main go fight for the Sith Empire only because I'm always the "good guy" in other Star Wars games; ToR will give a new perspective in a way. Although the Republic does win in the end and has some nice Classes....lol over 1 yr of trying to decide what to be and I still have no clue. :P

I think Bioware should blow us away with very big updates soon. Because Blizzard is throwing with Cataclysm Alpha now. Just follow MMO-Champion. So many updates on Cataclysm.

I wish Bioware did that. We want to know more! We want to know major stats in the game. Items, races, PVP, PVE, mounts, quests etc.

You are comparing apples to oranges friend. WoW is an MMO with years of growth and SWTOR is a new MMO that hasn't been released. You can't compare.

Dude Gonnabhu... Calm down if you don't like the biographies don't read them its that simple!! there are plenty of other people, me included, that would like to now plenty of background story before we play!

You think biographies are cool? really bioware? We can learn about them in game i dont want to read a 5 paragraph story on some NPC i might not even encounter with, there is so much more and better things you can be using yyour time on.

I agree with Philbert esecially with 3 months of conventions starting soon. I personally think we should be grateful we have seen this much of a game not even in beta

Seriously, 2 weeks of epic updates (or was it 3?) with lots of fresh stuff, they can skip a week if they need to.

Seriously all of you are being ungrateful if you insult this week's update. You just completely ignore the past few weeks of great, amazing updates and this week just complain.

a week is a long time to wait for an update, you get something amazing and have it followed up by a weak update the next. it's bull...if this is going to happen, just give us all the crap updates first, and when you have a solid date for the game....then give us a long stream of Awesome, head exploding updates until the release, because even if you don't ( i don't care if you have a life some don't) some people visit this website religiously, looking for any update they can find, now I guarantee if they had a poll asking us if we would like Major updates every Friday and for them to completely stop doing the small updates, you know the decision would be unanimous....Im just sayin.

I actually agree with JBFett on the part of the WOW... It does suck *****. But otherwise, I wish they posted stuff like that more often. I LOVE The Old Republic.

tbh, people need to stop acting like crack junkies, we have been getting loads of usefull information the past few weeks, and its more than sane to be getting a little less information before E3, otherwise E3 would be a little lame if we get to know everything.
Show some respect to the people who are working hard to create the game you fap to.
