This needs to be a combination of solo and small raid (5-10 man) exploration and quests. What happens if one drops the soap in the shower here?

I think that the sith will be far more boosted by Bioware. The clips and others that were released about the game showed the republic that is really defenceless and weak. There's a big chance that the most players start playing sith.

The story line in this game, in case you didn't notice, is 300 YEARS AFTER REAVAN! Another thing is that Reavan went into unknown space. Although a highly unlikely theory, he could have returned again as the sith emperor in this game, but if that happened, he would NOT attack his own base.

Sweet... good place to lock some mischievous players who break rules, exploit, or hack as well. :)

Has anyone noticed that this planet is the exact same concept of Purgatory in Mass Effect 2...? Mass Effect 2 had a prison stranding prisoners out in the middle of space, this is stranding dangerous prisoners out in the middle of an ice age. Recycling some of your ideas, huh Bioware?

The concept of a prison planet goes as far back as Dune that I can think of. Great fun tho!

You make it sound like ME2 was the first time the idea was ever used. Actually, "Alien 3" used the idea of a prison planet loooong before BioWare, and I'm quite sure it was used before then, too.

The idea of a prison planet is a bit cliche', but good gravy, look at that concept art! It's going to be gorgeous.

Its a little like The Savange Land (X-Men) meets The Violet Hold (Warcraft), pretty interesting vibe I'm getting from this planet. I'm happy to see more Rakatan lore, I wonder what secrets are waiting for us to uncover there!

Sam_Valvo, The Rakatans ruled the galaxy before even the jedi order was established, enslaving all races. They left their mark on the galaxy and in fact the super prison is highly likley to be of Rakatan design. A large part of the Rakatans success, was the Star Forge, and their knowledge of the Dark Side. Although this knowledge was their downfall, they where one of the most powerful empires ever to rule The Galaxy.

True, its not their home planet. But it sounds like the prison there was built by them. So they've left their mark on this planet and I would hope we would be able to learn more about the prison and in turn the Rakatan. I think uncovering information about the jedi of the past on Tython will be as interesting too, I just enjoy that sort of thing.

I don't think the Rakata are a species anymore.

The Rakata are most likley almost extincy by now. After the aftermath of the battle of Rakata Prime, the planet Rakata was litter by the crashed remains of the Star Forge and the many ships that went down with it. This event distroyed most of Rakatan civilization, and when the Republic asked the Rakatans to leave their dying planet the Rakatans refused, thus an extint race by the Clone Wars.....or sooner.
