Taris looks much better. You can actually see green. I hope the promised land is still there; it would be awesome to see what it looks like. Can't wait to play. Thanks, Bioware, for doing such an awesome job.

I'm very much looking forward to checking out what happened on Taris since last time all of us KOTOR gamers visited it last and even though it was basically a tutorial, I for one actually enjoyed playing through it. It was one of the few tutorials that didn't make me bored as could be and praying it would just end already lol.

I hope they really make Taris much more interesting than it was in KotOR... I've never experienced such a long tutorial-like level in my life... mabey Taris won't be so monotone this ime.

I wonder just how big of an impact on the planet we will be able to leave in our storylines. I wonder if something along the lines of "phase shifting" will be used and to what extent.

well i know where ill be spending my days. i loved taris my opinion best planet. i just hope their be alot of places to explore on it. that would be a let down.

I'm new here and I loved the rpg feel that bioware gives to KOTOR and JADE EMPIRE!! Wanted to know if anyone here has been picked for the testing?

Taris was not my favorite world but i did like it. now maybe will see if any humans survived

Given the luck of us wonderful fans the only surviors will be Vulkars,Gammoreans, and Rakghouls.

Probably cleansed the entire planet clean, for the most part, killing out the rakghoul unless the undercity's crust was too thick to be penetrated.

Can't wait to roam around Taris again, but It's hard to imagine Taris as anything other than either a thriving metropolis or smoldering wastes, so I'm very excited to see how the restoration project worked and to what extent.

This looks realy interresting. It was cool they tied in Darth Malack with Taris' history but i hope Darth sion will come in the history.

this is exciting cant wait to just explore and enjoy seeing Taris again maybe even run into the underworld people again maybe they survived the bombing since they r so far underground.

Wouldn't be surprised if the group that we helped get to the Promised Land (if you played good) were the only survivors.

I don't expect Taris to look the same, besides from structural damage, the landscape should have changed with all the Sith destruction.

If you can access the upper layers of the cities, this may be my favorite planet!

Also if you can find the "Promised Land" that you led the refugees to in the first game, that would be awesome.

Certainly a beautiful imagining. If the game looks like these videos we're really in for a treat, esp those of us with kick a$$ graphics cards.

i have a lot of experience with MMO's like SWG, EQ, EQ2 and this looks really good i hope it lives up to all that's expected

DarthNatrist: No, I think we can safely assume that Revan has not yet made an official appearance, since lucasarts and Bioware are both mum on his (or her, to those who prefer a female) eventual fate after Kotor 1.

Wait! Wasn't Taris reconstructed during Kotor 2: The Sith Lords? I mean "you" saved the planet and killed the Sith Lord with it didn't you?

KOTOR 2 did improve bits of gameplay but the story was terrible when compared to its predecessor showing once again that Bioware's focus on a good story really makes a game.

@DarthSheeth Naah, Bioware did have a hand there. Obsidian worked alot with them for Kotor2. But youre mainly right, Bioware would have made it alot better =P

and Kotor 2 was not made by bioware so in my mind it failed. and it did really, it was an incomplete game. Bioware would have made it 100X better than Obsidian did
