Maybe check that you have the latest drivers, cause i have a Gigabyte GeForce GTX260, only a 2 month old card, and it runs fine on mine...

Nice, but I already have an original xbox copy, a downloaded xbox 360 version, and a PC version of the game. It was a great game, and I hope a lot of elements for this game are taken from KOTOR.

If anyone gets this thing to download, PLEASE tell me what you did and how you got it to download. I've been trying to download it since they gave out the coupons and nothing is working.

They are both excellent games. i still have my old version of KoTOR that i purchsed by retail. i still play it from time to time.

KOTOR and KOTOR 2 are amazing games. I highly suggest getting these and playing through especially those new to The Old Republic series. I really enjoyed the customization, character and story lines, and just had a blast finding what happens in the end.

KOTOR was the greates SW game ever, just so freaking amazing ! Loved it! xD
KOTOR 2 wasnt that good because everytime Bioware ran out of money and needed voice for a character they just put in a wookie who could say : Whraaggg (again and again)
Also the store in KOTOR 2 wasnt the best and I think it felt like the game wasnt done :)
SWG was also a very very good game, hehe :D

yay i finaly got kotor II working on my pc, had to sing up and get a special download for vista but now i can actualy play the game! thanks for your support guys. only some minor video and dialog issues after excess play but now i can finaly see all this game through =P *hugs*.

uhh im having lots of troubles trying to get this to work. Got it dled and installed, created my char, went start game and when its loading the program stops working. So i dled the latest patch thinking that would work but now its says i have to insert a disc or i cant play. Im so confused if anyone knows how to help me i would greatly appreciate it.

so Im DLing KOTOR atm and i went to register it on there site. It says that i need a upc code and i did not get a upc code when i bought it only an activation code. I tried the activation code in the spot but it didn't work. So im wondering if it matters if you have a upc code to register for the game.

KOTOR was pretty good. KOTOR 2 was not too bad. But I've been playing them both over the past few years every time I get bored with other MMOs. Its been that way since I was self-exiled from SWG (of course we don't want to beat that dead horse, now do we?) Anyways, I feel the sentiments of the other SW veterans and don't feel the KOTOR coupon was a boost. We need more content, more videos or even BETA. I put in a request in 2007 to get on the beta, still haven't had a response. =(

I gave my KOTOR game disc to 3 friends already and they loved it. I loved it to, but KOTOR 2 wasn't so good because it was a rushed production, i prefere the star wars shooter games. But, RPG's have a better storylineI wonder how good this online game will be...

Hey everyone, i just fineshed both KOTOR's for the 1st time :D yay!, absolotly LOVED KOTOR 1, however gota say i was disapointed with 2, im not saying it wasnt a grate game, it was, but was there just a huge chunks missing or something, and why was the ending rushed so much, have to say it felt like a much smaller game than it should have compaired to 1. anyone tell me what happened there? x

Doesn't work for me even with the fixes. Only thing I have not tried is deleting the registry entries and reinstalling completely.

this is for KOTOR 2. just so you know. maybe it would be a good idea to try it again once the restoration project is finished.

their is a restoration project currently in progress to restore some data that is in the game but was bypassed to bring the game out quicker. it has been going for a good 5 years now, and hopefully it will be completed soon. it will open the game up to missions that were not completed and other things too. if you wish for the website address, send me a message and i will link it to you

I receive the mail and I try every one day to download the game but in Direct2Drive.com say that this product is not available, and than redirect me to the homepage. When I try to search for star wars games in this site i find only KOTOR. I am from Europe. What's the problem? Please help!

you put the code before you enter your credit card, I think. I',m downloading it now, but I've had a lot happen today.

So it's great that the discount was issued, well at least for everyone that can actually use it. How great is it though? Ya sure KOTOR is one hell of a game, but it is slightly dated, meaning that most people that have been following the buzz of TOR's upcoming release already own it. Personally I've played the hell out of my copy, just as most who own it have. In the end, I don't feel that the discount was a thank you at all, rather it has helped to promote future sales of TOR and continuing sales of KOTOR. Which I have nothing against, it's good business strategy, just don't feed "us" a line. We already are salivating for TOR.

I got the downloader and paid for it and stuff but for some reason the downloader isnt communicating with the internet or something it tries then it gives up anyone else having that problem?
