Now this is a game everybody will play, star wars fan or not, which is going to steal alot of players from both WoW and SWG. I myself play SWG in a guild so trying to bring in Dark Jedi Role Play, but it just doesn't fit in with the story. SWG just had 1 story "legacy" which everyone did to about lvl 50-ish, no matter what proffesion. There were quests after tht but not really having any story to it. I look at this trailer and I find a story lurking in every twist and turn, in every corner. Also everyone having voicing? That will definately go down in Game history, and not just MMORPG history. I would like to know although how player chat will be like? Will it be the average Chat box and Speech bubbles or Voice word for word, or combination of both?

Absoluetely AMAZING. I've never been so excited about a game in my life! The anticipation is killing me! Finally a game that truely blends rpg and the mmo feel together, to really feel like your apart of the Star Wars universe. RPing will be a blast >:D

I don't like the size of the light saber. The hilt is too big and the light sorce is too small. I hope they fix it by release. Other than that, I love the way the game is developing and cannot wait until Beta. I hope I get chosen.

Y'know they should really make force lightning more common. They only used it in there once, and it sucked. Anyway, when I play as a sith, I'm gonna turn against my master guy when I'm as powerful as ever. He'll be like "You are being sent on a dangerous mission to kill a powerful jedi, and you will probably die.", and then I'm like "Suck it!", and then I cut him in half while he's still goin "Wha?". Could you be a friendly Sith? The Sith are recruiting force-sensitives just like the Republic, so you could just be some random guy who got found by the Sith first, and not be quite so vicious as your generic Sith

Actually "LordShade" a sith lord can be freindly and play lightside in this game as the said in this video as well as clearly announcing it in the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdyqopE6lVI&feature=related) that you can be a lightsided sith loyal to the empire or a darksided jedi loyal to the republic. If you did know your star wars you would know that Galen Marik for example was raised as a sith, brutally by darth vader and was very freindly (as he could be) around Juno Eclipse and then eventually fell to the lightside and died saving the leaders of the Rebel Alliance.

Looks amazing, I love the Smuggler's melee ability. XD

And the lightsaber deflection ability looks very interesting, hopefully that'll work well in PvP too.

What an amazing job on this walkthrough! I love how you make decisions that effect the rest of the gameplay! Truly amazing! The cover system for the smuggler is ingenious! I cannot wait to play as a bounty hunter, I always loved ranged classes and this looks to be one of the best yet!

When is it coming out

amazon.com has the game posted for sale on Jan 1 2010. I've heard that was a marketing mixup, but why would it remain up there? I wonder. Ive also heard from this french site that it will be more like oct 2010. All speculation though, as Bioware has yet to unveil a solid release date.

i agree I wont this to be a good as possible and i wish i could help them with that! I have been wanting another excellent SW game since KoTOR.

I would rather wait then have this game come out right away and not be a good game vs waiting and getting a good game that beats out WoW

When its done.. Hopefully they have enough time to smooth things out. A nice and health beta testing period can help. And well it will also signify to you when the game might come out... (at least 4 months of beta testing, then a couple of month for manufacturing)

I don't think bounty hunter should be a dark side class. there should be a neutral class list. I mean, haven't we learned from the great Canderous Ordo that hunters can fight for good. And also, the republic has credits. they can hire bounty hunters. A friend of mine wants to be a hunter and fight by my side, without being questioned. others in the jedi ancients, don't attack all hunters on sight. wait for them to attack first.

Most likely this game will cost the normal price of 15 $ a month and that is a good thing, You do not one million noobs playing and ruining your game play, Plus the more money that the game is making equals new and better patches or expansion it over all is worth just to pay the money.

Never get tired of watching the awesome gameplay. Cant wait to play!

Okay the Sith lord standing there is saying look at my tonka toy light saber hilt look how big it is , now if you go read the latest dark horse chapter of the web comic here you will see master zym or whatever hes called with a balanced light saber hilt and I'm talking about the size in thickness compared for the hand.It looks like this sith can hardly keep his hand wrapped around this humongous ridiculous handle

I agree on the whole light saber hilt thing, there way too big. When i think force users (jedi/sith) i think sleek, agile, fluid fighters. These hilts and the boxyness of the characters doesn't express that at all. But still, that's just me,(some of you may love the idea of a huge muscly behemoth of a jedi) And I'm still very exited for the game,regardless of my artistic preferences. game play looks sweet.
