Alright so the previous post is my opinion of some older game options from SWG that I would like to see in this new MMO. Now ... here is what I see from WoW and how they keep people interested.
Juggling the attributes is one of Blizzards many tricks to keep a high interest in leveling and end game content. For instance Strength and Attck pwer are achieved to make damage per second (dps), 12 str = 24 attck pwr. Ok well if you notice certain types of gear/enchantments they will say +12 str or a similar item would say 24 attck pwer. Same idea goes for Mana / Health per second, anyone can get the same result with a certain amount of spirit. My point is if a juggling effect is put into place instead of majorly nerfing gameplay then most will stay for a long long time. Making it seem like we are getting changes when all Blizz does is change the look is one of the secrets to MMO content patches and expansions. I'd like to see some of the same crafty ideas come up with this TOR MMO. A major question in my mind is ... Are we all going to get instances in this new MMO? Are we going to have to wait 6minutes for a transporter to show up so we can travel between planets? I know for one I want to be another combat medic and all of the classes/professions are awesome in SWG. As I have mentioned before about the tricks involved with keeping us interested there is a good reason we stay interested. A natural human reason and that is the secret we all know to be true but rarely talk about. To capture that essence and create a formula of game play is the secret to my interest and most of anyone involved in MMO's. I don't care what anyone says I'm very excited about this new mmo. I want more information and also what is the stock worth at the moment. I can only imagine how much the stock will go up once the beta is in play. BTW! I have signed up for the Beta ... I pray for an invite. ... HINT! HINT!

I into SWG a couple weeks after it's release for about 4 months. Around the fourth month of SWG they nerfed it to where everyone was getting holo crons and from there everything got stupid in my opinion.
For this new version I would really like to see alot of the same game attributes i.e. Almost endless roaming, Housing, Player cities, speeder and creature mounts/pets, Professions using crafting machines and harvesters, Quests/jobs from the teller machines. Now the kicker to making a great mmo is keeping our attention. The storyline is sounding awesome and everyone is trying to figure it out already from the book series, but if this new mmo is based 5k years before any known Star wars saga; then I have no idea. From what I have seen so far from screen shots and clips this mmo is looking a whole lot of bad arse. Now patches with minor bug fixes to content is cool ofcourse, but continuously changing content will drive everyone away like in SWG. WoW is very different with the whole instance system and limited land masses. WoW can be xplored quickly and there is no room for housing even if they wanted too. If TOK mmo introduced alot of the older game options into the new world they are teasing us with, I am 1000% down for some kicking of Sith ARSE.

Do not compare this game to W.o.W

W.o.W is just like Mc-Donalds.

Wow doesn't suck. It simply lacks the superiority of skilled players. In WoW everything is about your equipment, so if you have a lot of time to get all the best stuff, but bad at using skills, you will win most of the time against someone who has poor equipment but good tactics. I hope SW:TOR will be much more skill oriented than equipment.

I agree with you, but as I said in other thread:
By being deceptioned I learnt not 2 wish mmos, I waited anxiously 4 ultima online and it wasn't worth the while, terrible, hope the same doesn't happen with TOR, I guess it won't anyway, till now it's looking cool.

Kudos to these Guys they're doing a great job on all these games but in my browsing of the comments I have found that many people are disappointed in the decision not to continue the KOTOR Trilogy but I can however say I do not care that you decided this way but I am however very anxious to see how the new game will turn out you have all been Juicing it up from what I can tell and sincerely hope you come through after all there is a lot riding on this game. However if I may make one suggestion it would be to continue The Greatly Longed for KOTOR series I think you would get a very good response to that particular decision. However I am merely a humble and loyal fan of Star Wars and hope that my message is repeated for better effect, and possibly in better terms.
