This game will be nothing like SWG, i played that game for many years and the only thing SOE had on it, was the fact it was the only StarWars MMO available, they could basically do what they want, i mean lets face it, just about every half decent MMO out there has a lifetime sub option, SOE are still mugging off every single subscriber for a game that is dated as far back as the original Xbox. Bioware know what they are doing but i also feel any "die hard" "grind your arse off" "i can play 18 hours a day" MMO players are gonna get a massive wakeup call with this game. Its already been stated that it will be massively story driven and have an AI similar to the original KOTOR series, IE: Meaning you will have no need to play with other loot hacking, cheating retards if you so please.....Bioware imo are going to change MMOS for ever, and this game will be the bench mark of how things are done in the future.

A good Star Wars Game hasn't come out in a while. I still lug my old Xbox around to play Jedi Academy III, and many other games that don't work on the 360. But not all that many Star Wars games seem worthy of a monthly fee on the PC. My cousin tells me SWG was good, but fell for reasons he did not explain. I am willing to wait, well, not really willingly, for SWTOR to come out and pay (if not 12 month free cards) for the game.

And pawdaw, they are both Star Wars, they are both MMO's. How can you not compare them? So it's Bioware. It's like comparing to movies by different directors. One is better, the other isn't. Simple as that

When Does This Game Come Out?

Well since its an MMO that hints that its only online think about it how many MMO games are offline, systems such as xbox, wii and ps3 do not count their games at best are rpg based with online capabilities, or just online capabilities in general not a single one of them ever have the online only factor about them.

If it's in anyway better than it's predecessors it's going to be an excellent MMO I loved KOTOR 1&2 They were my very first Star Wars experience... 5 years ago, when I first became a fan, of star wars at all for that matter. The insane thing is I'm currently watching the first three movie for the first time this week ha ha ha. Just couldn't get into them awhile back, but I saw the new three. To be such dated movies, they are excellent. I was really surprised.

I will be happy as long as BioWare and Lucasart can make this game somewhat similar to the KOTOR games with a hint of SWG. Like the spaceship flying and that part.

And to all you people in love with SWG Pre-CU. This timeline in this game is not the time when there was only Vader, Yoda and Luke as Force Wielders. This game is also based upon as I understand it, when the time of Jedi's and Sith were at the peak of theyre numbers.

Everyone that have played KOTOR knows the story. Enough said, I hope the game can launch soon. Hope the time extra is given to get all the bugs out so for the first time in history we can play a non buggy MMO.
