Screen shots are very lacking. Are these still just early development shots that need to be updated with shots from the early alpha version that I'm sure is being played by now or what? If not this game looks like something that would've been put out a few years ago, not a next-gen MMO like Bioware is saying this will be. This needs to be at least on par with the WoW that I'm playing right now if it's going to tear me away from that.

Now don't get me wrong, I love Bioware and the work that they've done recently (with the exception of Jade Empire, sorry Bioware), especially the most recent Mass Effect. I love that game and combine it with the other 2 KoToR games, they have my full trust and I will be giving this game a shot also. I would just like some updated screen shots or at least some assurance from Bioware that these are early shots and not indicative of what the final game will look like. After the teaser trailer from E3 with the Sith/Jedi battle (which was totally badass by the way), I (and most likely all of you) would like to hear the game will look closer to that, even though we all know cinematics will always look better than actual gameplay footage.

love it, and i can't wait for it. initially i thought this was going to be a stupid idea and they should've just kept it console and KOTOR III. Now honestly, I can't stop thinking about how great this game is going to be. The only thing is... CAN WE GET SOME TUSKENS IN THE GAME?!?!? haha

When you look at the actual settings of the backgrounds in these new pics (and the original pics) you already start getting lost in the storyline as well as trying to figure out what will happen during the game to take you to these great looking places!

With each new blog, info update, and photo I am getting that much more stoked about the game and where it will take us.

A lot of the comments talk about release dates and how quickly things will get finished so we can play - I agree that I can't wait to own this game but I hope BioWare sticks to its guns by taking their time and releasing a flawless product. It WILL be worth the wait...

Honestly? The Screenshots still look like crap, texture and model details look like what they would use in an isometric game like Diablo 3 or Sacred 2 nowadays, and even in those the environment and world details are more complex and less rigid right now and this is supposed to be a "Next Gen MMO"?
I don't know how long I could stand looking at blurry, repeating, non bump-mapped ground and wall textures till I'd ultimately move on...

Wow, I like what I see! Then again, it is Star Wars so of course I like what I see! I can't wait to see what the gameplay will be like because of course, that is the most important thing! (see SWG if you don't believe me)

I hope the graphics in the upcoming game are as good as the graphics in the first 2 games. I think it will be awsome.

also I'm not sure if this was already mentioned but I want to make sure my char. looks differant than all the other chars. and I'm talking bout everything down to the size of the jaw line, lips, eyebrows, etc...

I never got into the Star Wars games but this is one game that that I'm going to play for the MMORPG ability. I've done played Diablo and Diablo 2 wich were good and I also played Final Fantasy 11 so i feel like i know quite a bit about MMO's but any way's about the game.....Graphics must be excellent and the game play as well I'm so sick of MMO's that take 5-10 hour's to beat the game

Looking good so far, but could we get more then just jedi stuff. Some info on player cities or crafting system would be great.

I like what I see, I will be more convinced to move over from SWG as soon as I see some Expertise and professions. Please so something with Bounty Hunters! I cant wait to kill some Jedi!

I think that developers nowadays focus more on what the game looks like instead of the story and gameplay (except Bioware). Graphics don't make a great game, it's the gameplay and the lasting appeal of the game. That's what made KotOR 1 and 2 so great, yet those games didn't have the best looking graphics. Still can't wait for this game.

ya i agree graphics look great to me but even if they werent i would still get this game

I think there all good, graphics are perfect.

I don't really care about the graphics in this game, as long as it looks almost like KotOR 1 then there's no problem here. I do hope they bring some of the music back from both KotORs, especially the music from Manaan.

Agree, Jeremy Soule is THE COMPOSER for all Rpg video games. Kotor 1 music composed by him was really wonderful!

i do agree about the sabers.good size and the graphics is good :)

I have to say that the sabers look much better, but I have been consistently underwhelmed by the graphics, in this batch's case specifically the Nexu and the locales. All the locations look so barren and textureless. :( What the hay?

Looks freakin awesome!, and I bet it will look better once it is out, this must be a rough draft of what the actual game will look like, there's a lot of polishing after Beta stage so worry not!

well i got something to say,give this game time ok,and bioware LISTEN TO THE PLAYERS in the wish list forum,my self where talking about atmospheric flight there, just listen to the players wishes and you can make a werry werry good game,trust me.starwars is the best idea of games and just take your time and if you need 3 more years THEN MAKE IT 3 MORE YEARS.but i hope i will have the game tomorrow :):):):) in my mailbox please

I dont know why everyone here is trying to lick biowares a--, they wont send you a free copy of the game for writing in every post that they are your gods.

The screenshots look horrible, and for all those who said to the first shots "no they are pre alpha"- bla, itll stay as bad as they look.

The style looks totaly starwars abnormal has nothing to do with the two
"old" old republic games, and in my opinion really too infantil, its like knights of the old republic go lego, just that the weapons in lego starwars look better.

To BIOWARE and Locosarts - you desrtoyed the nice kotor series, for getting rich with all those swg freaks, that got unhappy with their game

Wow, some of you need to take your anti-depresents! The screen shots look great. I am not kissing bioware's a-- trying to get into a beta or something. I sincerely like how this is going. Lightsabers are just the right size and the colors and shades have a dramatic look which is great.

I would like to see some video of some sort though!

no offence but couldn't you make a game based on ONE of the four main aspects of star wars (sith, jedi, clones or droids) or have a game like this where you don't turn into a jedi remember...... no offence

I'd love if they could somehow combine KotOR gameplay with JK2:JO one. I know it doesn't sound realistic, but I love the freedom that Jedi Outcast gives you in moving around and fighting, my personal favourite game so far. On the other hand it's an MMORPG so it has to be strongly connected to KotOR. Just some utopian thoughts from me ;]

Also I rlly hope that the game won't be only Jedi-based in sense of ppl wanting only to be 'the guy with the lightsaber' .

Finally - the game is a long-awaited project from me and I am really excited to see it develop and become a hit ;] I'm sure it will!

All the screens look wonderful--I am so excited!
Would also love to see more shots of non-jedi/sith gameplay. It's an important part of the game, but there needs to be enough good non-force gameplay so that not every single person chooses to be a jedi or sith.

they have only spoken about Jedi / Sith that is the reason for pictures of mostly them

Woohoo! I'm so happy to see they toned down the lightsabers. Characters look great (for the most part) and will only improve as you push on down the path of development.

Amazing work Bioware, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed by trusting you. You guys are my heroes.

I personally am sad that LucasArts has decided to make games for profit alone without regaurd to what the people will want or like. I know that most of you love this idea, but where is the game for the rest of us. A poll on GameBanshee has shown that most people severely dislike the idea of another Star Wars MMO. I loved the first two KotOR games, but they have lost my support with this one. Even though this game will make lots of money and many people like you folks will like it, they are totally leaving thousands of fans who dislike the gameplay in MMO's out of the loop.

also, all comapanies make games for profit and for the players. if a company is only in it for the money its games get crapy and it goes out of business
