Welcome to the first Fan Friday! Each month, the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ team will highlight some of the contributions made by different community members. This month, we are spotlighting JensenBakura, StandAlone, and caine.
JensenBakura started a fan-fiction thread entitled The Cantina to help introduce new users to casual interactive role-playing. The concept behind it was to create an inviting setting where people can find like-minded roleplayers to interact with and then create their own roleplaying stories.
StandAlone has been accepting art requests from members of the community since the launch of www.StarWarsTheOldRepublic.com. One of these was a request made by DeaconX of his character Daxter Juno and another was created for Jerichostar. Feedback was so positive that he started up his own page on Deviant Art where you can see more of his work.
Last but not least, check out this great fansite, www.swtortemple.com, created by caine. Not only does it contain all the information accessible on the official website, but caine has also made it a point to collect information about TOR that is all over the internet. Make sure to bookmark his site!
These are not the only great pieces of community contributions. You can find a lot more in the Community Creations Forums. And if you have your own additions, feel free to post them. Who knows? Maybe next month we’ll be spotlighting something you’ve done.
