now that sounds like a guild worth joining. even if you deal with those jedi. But so long as you aid us sith I will join.

i dont think they will make a class of mandalorians but maybe a race instead. so like a mandalorian sith or maybe madalorian bounty hunter is my bet.

Count Dooku fought along side the Mandalorians they were for the Republic so they should make it for the jedi side; especially since its called The Old Republic. So I'm still deciding who to be, Im ruff around the edges like Hun Solo so Im thinking a smuggler. Jedi are way cooler though but only in close combat I like a little show down gun fight here and there. So many choices so little time huh!!!

I also noticed that the very last slide with the mandolor and the officers that one had the IMPERIAL insignie on his left arm! IMPERIAL? I'd also want some of those uniforms.

ummmmmm does anyone else notice that towards the end of the mandalorian video there is a alien wearing the newer boba fett type armor? It's red and green and is right before the last slide. They didn't have that modern type of armor in that time period. I'm not saying don't put it in. Put it in! I love that new mando armor! I'd like the helm too, but that won't be in there.

I believe the mandalorians will be a great threat to both sides of the war and will definately intervene with transport and battle affairs weather they decide to onslaught a planet or not in some mandalorian guild beats me but doesnt sound good for anyone. BEWARE THE MANDALORIANS!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure it is a pay per month game. All the big MMO's are pay per play and it is a multi-billion dollar industry. The big names involved almost insure it is a pay per play game. I don't see Bioware paying programers that kind of money for a free game. I have never played a free lucasarts game in my life. This webstie gave all registered persons a discount on KOTOR (which is a game that is super old). The point being, this is a money making venture. I could be wrong, maybe I am, but people are still paying to play all the other games out there at 15 bucks a month. The world wide bad economy might make them lower it to 9 bucks a month, I highly doubt it though. I expect to pay the typical 50 bucks to buy the software, and 15 bucks a month to pay though.

It's gonna be like $15 per month, according to my friend... hell I don't wanna pay either (I hope he's wrong). If you have to pay though I suggest getting all of your friends to get it too so you don't get bored. :)

I'm with u on this one but if they do make it monthly or something (cause it kinda seems like it might go that way) I hope they make it a low cost Q(-_-P) and theres boxing kirby :)

Does anyone think or know if they will have races and then classes, somewhat like WoW? I'm with a lot of other people, being a Mandalorian would be cool.

I always think of the Mandalorians as the third party in the ever changing galaxy-wide conflict. Between Jedi and Sith, I consider them the middle party, if the Jedi are destroyed, the Mandos will be enslaved and if the Sith are beaten, the Jedi will still have a major problem. They don't support the Sith or the Jedi, although the Mandies back in the Sith War ,I believe, were pledged to Exar Kun before he was a Sith Master. After that they had no real allies other then themselves until the Jedi Exile met Mandalore and the Neo-Crusaders on Dxun. Even after that they struck out on their own (sound familiar anyone?)and broke apart from each other. So the point is: if the Mandies don't have a leader (Mandalore) you can say that either the Mandalorians carried their tradition by becoming mercs and other gaining other jobs or when the time comes when they are beaten back, they only come with the right leadership. This "Mandalore" had that. Truth be told, Mandalorian spirit and tradition will never die, there will always be someone who brings them back and is then beaten back, its a cycle that will never be stopped. Darth Traya should've known this. Jango Fett had a son, Boba, who was trained in Mando technique and fighting and he later had a daughter. Although they were gone for a long period of time, they can't be stopped unless destroyed at their source, but even then they will live on. That's why their culture has forever been strong, their a force to reckoned with, and they will forever be a unique group of individuals, no matter what era or whoever leads them. My apologies on this long message, I feel it has to be brought up though.

One of the things I'm most excited for in this game. Actually being able to pick to be a mandalorian as a race. Looks way better than Galaxies was and I'm sure it will be.

Its 4:00 ET. It must be big news, like a new class or a new planet, to be an hour late.

They almost always dont post it untill 3:00 ET, so be patient. Even if it's small, it'll be posted near 3:00.

I believe the update is usually in the afternoon, hope it's something good, been playing Mass Effect for the 3rd time just waiting on an interesting friday update.

Only 3 out of 8 class's are out yet let's wait and see what other goodies they will bring out. I have been playing and still do sometimes play SW Jedi Academy and I saw alot in thoses realms, Did not click with Kotor but tried them out. What I really want to say is. I

jedi and sith are definately classes mister calcrc bioware and lucararts just havent given any details on their combat style yet so its actually only 3 unknown classes.

Mandolorian better be a race. even if you are total republic loyalist. it would be so cool to be a mandolorian trooper, than to make your own personal history saying that you are a mandolorian that got exiled because of your support of the republic. i think personal character storytelling NEEDS to be THE key element of this game.

ok, the mandalorian race wasn't wipped out during the mandalorian wars. During the mandalorian wars, Mandalore the ultimate recruited other races into the war but the targa (mandalorian race) didn't get wipped out, most of the attacking forces were people of those the mandalorians captured when they invaded planets. So I wouldn't be surprised to see the targa as a race.

There WAS a Mandalorian race, but most of them were wiped out in the Mandalorian Wars. The rest interbreeded with humans. Now a pureblood Mandalorian is a very rare sight.

i thought bioware clearly stated in the bounty hunter blog that mandalorians arent going to be playable, at least in the beginning of the game anyway.

People.......there are no more Mandalorians as an actual species in the galaxy, so stop it with the race already please, heh.

They were a race just like the sith now their just Followers of a belief.
