No hints have been given, though in the IGN interview they seemed rather surprised when IGN hinted that SWTOR might show again at next years E3. That suggests it will be out before then. Bioware has Dragon Age coming out in the fall / Christmas season, so I don't see them running another one of their games against the potential sales of another. It could be argued that those interested in Dragon Age might not be the same crowd that is into SWTOR, but smart money is on them releasing after the Christmas season when they can saturate the market during a slow release period. If I had to guess, mind you only a vague guess, SWTOR will release right around March of 2010. |

OMG, i cant wait for this game, I noticed some people putting there idea's up and how Dev's read these post so i just thought i would throw mine out there. I really hope the do something similar to Star wars galaxies with the housing and guild halls etc. One of my favorite parts was getting a house and decorating it with furniture and stuff. In my opinion housing would be key and i think alot of people would like to have it back like from galaxies. Almost no MMO's do it so it would fall under another unique Bioware and Lucasarts would add to there already amazing game. Also i see sites posting dec,31,2010 as the release date, i really hope it comes earlier =(. |

Housing isn't a bad idea, but it needs to be instanced like it is in FFXI or LOTR. SW Galaxies was a wasteland of endless houses and guild halls... just was a mess cluttering the environment. The entire system was close to broken. Galaxies was a failed experiment at best. |
