Be cool if they did one of a sith holocrom and history. Your going to get to be jedi or sith. Maybe have a time line for them both. Just an Idea.

Maybe they might have it in some kind of quest in the game. It would probably be on Korriban.

hey im 1 of the 2 head comander's in the vendrex army if you want to join the army ask for a friend request you will be a privet for 50 days you will be controlled by a camander and then when 50 day's is up you will become comander but this will not last forever.the first few to join might become wepons officer,spy comander,medic comander,and a few more thing's believe me we will fight a lot of army's so we will have a long time to recrut

I hope that they have time change and weather in the game. On LOTRO they have the whole morning , noon, and night thing going on which is kool but they also have weather, sometimes it rains some times it snows I guess it would all depend on what planet you were on but it would be nice to have. :)

we have alos seen the second peice very little as it may be, saying revan went into the unknown and this empire came back where he didnt. kind of shocking since thay say its 300 years later ect and say kotor 3,4,5,6,7 and so on when in truth if thay dont put any of the old kotor 1 and 2 in the story, then there just leading fans on in false hope in wich case thay will lose alot of support and maybe ruin there rep if the game isnt as good or intresting as people want.

basilisk wardroids was pretty rare because that revan destroyed great deal of them, and the mandaloriens pretty much wants to figt almost all the time and this is a holocron a short rewiew of the whole story not the detailed fight, it wouldnt be very jediesh... to make a whole war story, and it can also be because that they detected large resources in the ships or it could be that 'possible' agreement between mandalorians an the sith Empire.

Im just trying to say that theres is thousands of things not mentioned in holocrons and the other thing around

It is kind of a concern for me that Ive noticed that Bioware isnt mentioning any Characters from Kotor 2 or its story in any of this game that they are developing in this story Line. Characters such as Brianna who restared the Jedi Order as teacher trainer Mentor, and Archivist of Jedi history after it was destroyed. Or the Impact of the Exile an his battles with the three sith Lords, two of which actually threated all Life and destroying the force itself? I know Kotor two was Made by Obsidian but i think that they should make some references to it if they going to include aspects of it in this new SWToR game it does play a pivital role in the Kotor Universe. IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO USE ANY OF IT THEY SHOULD COME OUT AND TELL US FANS of that game!!!!! I Liked Brianna Like to have a Jedi char like her to play with a outfit that she first appeared with as a Maiden in the game it was a cool look. Anyway BIoware let us know in the Forums it could be said in a one paragraph article.

Even though it's 300 years after KotOR, they still mention the first KotOR. Notice that there's a future timeline entry for the Jedi Civil War but not one for the First Jedi Purge or any events following the Jedi Civil War. If there's no mention of KotOR II, i'm going to be really sad and shocked that they are avoiding a piece of Star Wars history that is both essential and pivotal to the story line.

Keep in mind, this game takes place 300 years after the time of the Exile. We may not get any mention of what happened with those charactors at all. But I do agree with you. As far as I'm concerned, their stories were diverse enough to effect what is happening in this new timeline. So far all we've seen is a connection with Bastila in the comics. And even that is speculative and very suspect.

Unfortunately, the Handmaiden's role in reestablishing the Jedi order is not canon. The Star Wars official timeline assumes the Exile was a woman, thus Brianna's role in her story was very limited.

I liked Brianna too. You know there is some speculation that Darth Traya was her mother? I also liked Visas Mar, who along with the other Force Sensitives in the Exile's crew go on to form a new Jedi Order (in the official timeline).

I REALLY hope there is going to be a Smuggling class of some kind.
I would take that over Sith or Jedi any day.
But Mandalorian would be fun too.

If you can play as a Mandalorian, I will be happy, if not, oh well. What would be awesome would be a Mando Jedi.

Wait a second... I'm no Mandalorian apologist, but you mean to tell me this ancient and technologically advanced warrior culture was "distracted" by the appearance of some heavy freighters? All of them? The whole blockade? Really? And all they had to deal with the flanking smugglers were capital battle cruisers? No starfighters or corvette analogs of their own? No Basilisks War Droids, no Teroch gunships, no smaller assault craft of any kind? They had nothing to "run circles" around the smugglers' rust heaps? And these smugglers were able able to coordinate and outmaneuver the armada of a culture whose whole life revolves around combat and strategy?

C'mon! I know the script says they were eventually outclassed and I can believe that Republic reinforcements won the battle. What I find hard to swallow is that a hodge-podge smuggler fleet could make any difference whatsoever. That Mirialan got an awards ceremony for an empty gesture.

I find the comments for all the updates as entertaining as the updates themselves. Good job everybody keep up the good work.

From what I can take in to mind, and im just guessing here, is that the new classes that will be anounced are Smugler and the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders.

Its just a guess so I may be wrong. Thogh the smugler could be a given.

OOOH! I'd so want to play as a Mandalorian if I could. I always loved Canderous and his "gotta have a big gun" policy. Plus, Mandalorian armour is just plain awesome looking.

Also, on the topic of a Mandalorian or Smuggler class:

Bounty Hunters and Republic Troopers are very much alike; they are the elite, heavily armed and armored soldiers of each side. There are fundamental differences between the two to prevent a symmetric game, such as with most games where the same classes are available to almost everyone, but in the end they both achieve the same role.

You can expect BioWare to follow a path similar to Mythic when designing their classes for each side where every side has a class that is similar when cut down to the core aspects, but the flavor and the extra layers on top make the classes look and play differently from each other.

That being said, were a Smuggler to be introduced, based on Atton Rand and Han Solo we can assume it will be a more agile, pistol wielding, light armored finesse combatant. A Mandalorian "class" would fall more in line with an elite warrior or mercenary, such as a Trooper or a BH, than a pilot who thrives on one liners and finesse pistol use.

A few things:

Mandalorians were a race of gray-skinned people from Mandalore, but over time due to assimilation from conquering so many worlds it just became a community that was brought up with a warrior culture. It went from a race of people to an ideology/a culture.

Sith, too, were a race that practiced dark sided arts and, through extinction and assimilation, became an anti-Jedi brotherhood that eventually wielded lightsabers.

Sith is as worthy of being called a class as is Jedi, and things like talent trees and gear and ability use can differentiate between Guardian or Consular.

Mandalorians, however, cannot be categorized as a class because it's a background culture. In D&D terms, Mandalorian would be a background trait that offers some specific bonuses on top of being Human, Rodian, Twi'lek, what have you, but at the cost of some other things. You might get more intimidation and physical and mental conditioning at the cost of diplomacy, charm, and agility/finesse. These bonuses and disadvantages would ideally be placed on top of the effects you get from your race and class choice and not give way to a unique race or class in and of itself.

With this entry I suppose this will be the next class that they'll introduce. Being a smuggler you can play both sides of the fence. Smugglers also get the cool ships, such as the YT-1300 (Millenium Falcon). Now I'm wondering if I want to be Jedi or a Smuggler. Maybe I'll have two toons on my account like I do for SWG.

Excellent article/clip. It would be great to be able to select Smuggler as a profession, not on either side in this war gripping the galaxy. Pure profiteering selling to the highest bidders. This begs the question though about how much space game play will be available?

The Smuggler was the thing I wanted to be in SWG, it also the thing that drew to the game, being able to play a Smuggler, but of course it got all F'ed up. It would be a good idea to add the Smuggler Profession the way it was suppose to be. I really hated having 30 BHs on my butt at lvl. 1.

I wounder if you will be able to duel wield in this game. Because in the KOTOR you could have two blasters, one in each hand and the jedi could have a lightsaber in each hand and if you were not a jedi yet you still could carry two swords, one in each hand. I know this is not KOTOR but it does follow that time line and all but I just think it would be very kool if you could. I can't wait for this game to come out. :)
