I've never played an MMO before but kotor I & II are two of my favorite games & bioware always does a great job so i think i'll give it a try.

one quick question though, will we ever find out what happened to carth? i need closure! :)

They did mention they would have some answers and appearances from the kotor game, if i am correct. So yes, we might know what happened to some of the characters of kotor.

your most likely not going to get those answers because this game is centered on the character you create and not the following of Revan or the outcast

I just want to remind every1 tht SWTOR is trying to be different tht is why they are making the cartoonish looking characters and weapons. So expect the unexpected with this game they dont want to be like WOW or linage.

i don't like the shape of the lightsabers

Looks and sounds good mostly. In this video the fighting won’t see much different that in WoW or LoTRO etc. What I expect is ability move freely during fights and where distance, position etc affects the outcome of battle. Fight where jedi is standing in one spot doesn’t look very impressive.

They want it to be fast pace so it will be real time and also there will not be any form of auto attack. Srry credit famers its not going to happen

im surprised that a poll on this wbesite proved that people are most excited about PVE over PVP for star wars the old republic! Cool though cause I agree with the poll but heaps of people I know love pvp more!

I wonder if this game will have subtle things like, sitting in a chair, or resting, or getting drinks at the night clubs on Hutta. I enjoy that stuff.....maybe its just me.

and i hope it ll be similar in wow like Prepaided game and not like L2 free.

I agree with Ramshy, as much as I love the big heroic stuff, I also really like the more subtle aspects to a game. I think the ability to chill out at a cantina and things similar to that would be very cool.

I am really looking forward about Star Wars PvE and PvP...I hope it will fantastic simply...

Oh God no, Requiem for a Dream has been played to absolute death. If this game features even so much a section of that song (which I'm sure it won't) I will throw my desktop through the window.

yeah they are big but you have to think, this was the old republic, im sure they started out with big blukly lightsabers then they got smaller and smaller.

like cell phones. we started out with bricks and now some cell phones are so small you can swallow them.

when is the beta testing. i would really like to play the beta version
