i think i would always pick the trooper but i have been waiting to test the game since january

with the troopers on the republic the republic is unstopable

i would not even think i would pick the trooper right away

Taking screenshots doesn't take a long time to do (they have to internally test after all). Documentaries are something for us fans to get excited about the game.

In this game, republic Soldiers fought Bounty Hunters, the odds would go on to Republic, first, Republic troops get NEW high tech armor, best weaponry,
trained well, while Bounty Hunters are just Bounty Hunters..

I have a Huge feeling that atleast half the players in each side will have jedis,

But I would LOVE to be a Republic Soldier,
I've been Jedi already when I played KOTOR.

The trooper in is the only character model ive seen so far that actually looks right, and by that I mean properly proportioned and not on steroids.

Hey look, it was either that or a joke about how he never passed his Republic Walker driving test. Or perhaps one on how somebody let one off and caused every living organism on the thing to jump over board... but that would have gone too far. In answer to that question, alot of ppl prefer guns and grenades to sabers and the Force. Personally I think it's slightly insane but if it's what ppl want I say let them of course I continue to rally those who would join the Sith, or those who dont know what to be, btw what are you going to be?

It's mentalities like that which ruined Star Wars Galaxies. Everyone was special, therefore nobody was.

Some people have to be the Troopers. I'm gonna' be one of those people fighting on the front lines, while specialty units like what you're gonna' choose sit there on a cushion waiting for an opprituinity.

Rememeber. Troopers are the guys who clears paths for the specials like you. Never underestimate their use.

great...the mount broke so now you have to walk to the next town for 15 minutes...like every other MMO

It would be sweet if they gave us professions such as:

1) Droid maker: making translator droids, repair droids,battle droids
2) Weapons maker: making light sabers, blasters, grenades
3) Clother: making robes, armor
4) Crystal forging: making special color light saber crystals and bonus crystals that do extra damage or blaster reflect ect
5) Engeneer: building your own ship or speeder from scratch with parts from stores, quests, bosses ect
6) Medic supplyer: giving healing packs, battle enhancers, speed kits ect
if i missed any thing please feel free to add to the list and die jedi scum (for the sith) :)

I think i heard Bioware saying theres not going to be any overlapping classes besides jedi and sith, so i guess we no get cutey trooper :(

clone armour comes from the same faction and is probably an upgrade of this (lighter stronger) and this is only one of the kinds of armor
