Taris

The overgrown surface of Taris still holds clues about the endless city that once covered it.

I thought that all the skyscapers were destroyed by the bombardment. I wonder if there were any survivors there?

Im sure millions of people survived the bombardment. The chaos ensuing however.... Food and water would be all but nonexistent and Taris was a dieing planet even before it's less than thorough destruction, full of crime, gangs and poverty. i Suspect most survivors of the bombardment died of dehydration, hunger or at the hands of other survivors. In fact the people who would survive would be the undercity denizens. They were accustomed to poverty and strife, were not so trusting of outsiders, knew how to deal with the rakgouls, and were safest from the bombings. So yes, im sure they did reach their promised land.

Does anyone remember Rukil and the Outcasts and their pilgrimage from their village in the Undercity to the Promised Land where droid servants tend to your every need? I bet they survived the bombardment and have descendants in that fabled land of treasures.

If there WERE any survivors, I'd imagine they would've had to be waaaaay underground during the bombardment to even hope of surviving that attack. That's just my two cents. xD
