Smugglers believe the world much Safer for them without the Sith.

Bounty Hunters however, they Kill for Coin. And they dont negotiate.. If a Certain price is on your head they will go after you. No need to negotiate about it

If you read the devloper blog he talks about that. It's because the pay stinks, the hours sucks, and the guys you'd work for are creeps.

Well, atm it looks like WoW tbh. I hope they going to use same engine as eve-online. And I hope it will all happen on 1 server like in EVE and not on 1xxxxx realms like in WoW.

I realy hope they do though even in SWG Flight was really fun and it would be cool if you could use a giant starcruiser. With epic boarding battles.

Smuggler = Rogue if i'm right. Then cover is like stealth and flashbang = Blind. But how its gonna work in close-combat? u kick him and thats all? they should have stuff like a knife hidden somewhere or sumthing.

the games release date is unannounced and second guys dont get to excited cuz i doubt that you can have a cover system in a mmo this isnt the game play is it a cool screen shot yes is it the game play i hope not it wouldnt be balance if smugglers can take cover it would be like giving a bounty hunter a sniper you would get killed and you wouldn't know were it would ***** a lot of people off except for the people playing that class

you are all forgeting that a lightsaber can deflect laser fire... the rockets are to kill jedi and sith

the jetpack just gives a special ability like trooper heavy armor or the smugglers dodge and cover skills

but i will be a sith because i think the game portrays them as my Atheistic goals (bettering the human race through freedom and knowledge). jedi seem more like blind religion

I think every class should have its own quirks and reasons for ppl to roll them, and hopefully everyone wont jump on the lightsaber-weilding band wagon. Will be a much better game if there is more variety. Personally iam going to be a Bounty Hunter becuase i like the idea of being a sort of hitman and earning many cerdits, some people may want to be a trooper for the heavy guns and such. But i think at some point i will roll a jedi or sith for the fun of having my own lightsaber! :)

They rely on having cover...whereas other classses don't. Say a Jedi ran up to a smuggler, i really dont think less health will be necissary. They have next to no armour and not alot of firepower. So its not as if they are over powered in any way whatsoever. They just have different advantages.

The voice over documentry 'the voice of the old republic' at about 3mins 40. It shows the siloutte of the player on different objects that are available to hide behind. At this point of development they will not be changing this play style, as it seems crucial to the smuggler class. Also Bioware has stated that it isn't going to release any information until they are 100% certain that it will appear in the game and works well. Therefore will definatly be ingame :D

It has been confirmed there is a cover system, you can see how it works on the VO video documentry. You may think it would give a smuggler an unfair advantage, but this will also come with many disadvantages too. I think Bioware have spent alot of time making each class balanced as they are also putting alot of time into the pvp part of the game.

I think Bioware hinted that they were looking into different types pf servers, e.g. pvp, pve and rp. This will mean that if you dont want to run the risk of being killed whilst questing...then a pve server would be the one to go for.
